**Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus Review: Samsung Takes Down Apple**

As I'm about to save all my rambling, I do my full review on a scale of 1 to 10, these are the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus. These two phones are major players in the market, and I'm excited to dive into their features and specs.

**The Competition: Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max**

But before we get started, let's talk about the competition. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is a big boy with a 120Hz refresh rate. While that's impressive, I can name at least 25 things that this phone does that the S24 and S24 Plus don't. And if I had to do a review of the S23, S23 Plus, or S23 FE, it would be a similar story. So, let's get into why Samsung is winning this round.

**The Smell Test**

To prove my point, I'll do a smell test. It smells like another nail in the Apple coffin. Okay, okay, I know that's not a real thing, but you get the idea. The S24 and S24 Plus are no joke, folks. They're packing some serious punch.

**Comparing Features**

Now, let's talk about the features. I could name at least five things that the iPhone does that the S24 doesn't. But when it comes to the S24 and S24 Plus, they're getting some major upgrades. The new 120Hz refresh rate is just one of them. And with the latest software updates, these phones are becoming more powerful by the day.

bang now this is the gray color okay now it's not titanium you got the armor aluminium frame but it looks beautiful now of course I had to I've been using this phone for a couple of minutes had to set everything up this is a beautiful phone now we got to talk about this in a minute because a lot of people have been asking me which one should you get the uh the Galaxy s24 or the iPhone 15 and I'm going to show you why the Galaxy s24 completely and I mean completely destroys this iPhone it's not even close Okay so this is the Galaxy s24 now let's take it over to the Galaxy s24 plus right shoes back up a little right Galaxy s24 plus now this one is going to start at 1,000 bucks okay let me move this stuff out my peripheral vision okay we'll leave this one right here now Galaxy s24 plus starts at 1,000 bucks comes in the same colors you got Violet yellow black gray green blue and orange now for the display you got a 6.7 in ltpo AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1440 by 3120 and that's 5133 for the PPI Patrol you got Gorilla Glass vicus 2 on the front and on the back with the armor aluminium frame the phone is ip68 dust and water resistant you got HDR 10 plus it goes up to headphone jack that just whack # bars all right here's the Galaxy s24 now let's enjoy this presentation which will take about a good 30 seconds okay now look y'all know I'm about to roast when I do my full review this is just an unboxing so we're going to keep it light but your unboxing experience shouldn't be 30 seconds okay it shouldn't be 30 seconds for no device so you got your sim injection tool in there you got a cable you got a little pamplet and that's pretty much it I don't like that now here's the s24 hold up let me just going to peel this off wipe it down bang s24 plus now this is the violet color Okay Violet so we got gray and violet now check this out like I said I've been using this phone for a minute so I already set everything up of course you got the beautiful animated lock screens let's see what I got on this one we got the airplane coming in hot okay I love that you got always on displays with animations That's So Dope let me show you which one I got on this let's see okay we got another animated y'all see I'm into race cars pretty dope all right so let me pause the video delete my browsing history and then we'll walk through the OS and we'll talk about a few things Talk Amongst yourselves all right y so we back in first let's take a look at the difference between last year's s23 and s23 plus versus this year's version this is the new one this is last year's s23 as far as size pretty much identical but now you see you have the matte frame versus the glossy aluminium frame with the plus version same thing I like this matte frame a lot better than the glossy frame now let's pull out the scales adjust this let's see if they're going to work for us today and we'll check the weights okay so last year Galaxy s23 170 54 the new version 167 okay so it's actually a lighter device now last year's Galaxy s23 plus 20138 actually 20.39 now we got 197 now this is a dramatic difference in weight even without the scales ad Justice just holding them in my hands I can tell last year's version is a little bit heavier so I like the lighter frame design now I'm not going to waste your time going through all of the settings because they're exactly the same as the Galaxy s23 Ultra I'll leave a link you can just watch that video and if you're curious about my live wallpapers I'll leave a link show you how to get all of these too this is the one I'm using on the big boy okay let's file this to the side but let's just walk through some of the quick Basics now this phone right here no Quad HD display okay this is the smallest version you got your onscreen fingerprint sensor matter of fact let's look around first why not I'm not going to go through the settings but I'll do the basic stuff I love this new frame okay that matte look again if I pull out last year's version you see how it's kind of shiny and has more fingerprints the new FL frames okay no fingerprints on one side you got power button volume up and down there's your triple camera setup LED flash nice matte finish on the back very smooth doesn't have that silky feel to it this kind of has a matte feel okay if you like small phones you're going to like this one very pocketable okay on the top just got your sensors this side nice and clean the bottom SIM tray USB type-c charging slot there's your speaker Grill now in the like I showed you you got always on displays customizable you got on screen lock uh lock screen widgets notifications okay battery percentage couple of different ways you can open up the device okay just look at that live wallpaper one more time coming in hot okay you can swipe up put in your pattern and your PIN next you got your on screen fingerprint sensor which is probably Samsung's best fingerprint sensor yet Works flawlessly and you can do it with the screen off just like that and you got face unlock okay now let's see if we get three in a row two we'll do one more nope you see and this is oh okay now we got okay we got to get three in a row there's one two three okay now when I do my full review for the Galaxy all right we got some things to talk about because there's a couple of things that I don't like which I'll give yall a spoiler alert right now check this out let's pull out the matter of fact let's walk around the let's do the the big boy this is the s23 plus there's your power button volume up and down okay back triple camera setup same mat feel on this same mat feel on the sides sensors okay clean USB typ-c charging slot slot Sim train and speaker Grill okay now let's get okay what is this okay get exit out of that same thing let's see um there's your animated wall uh always on displays lock screen widgets notifications time battery percentage fingerprint sensor let's see if we get three in a row two three now this is actually like I said Samsung's best fingerprint sensor remember I used to do this with the xiaomi phones and be like you can't do this with Samsung phones now you can actually do that let's hit the face unlock that's one two three now Samsung does need a little bit of help in the face unlock department but I ain't going to make a big deal about that but there's some things that I want to show you that are a little bit different I'll just run through one real quick and this is what kind of bothers me about Samsung now I don't want to spoil my SN cut full review but I hate when companies take a step forward and then they take two steps back let me show you what I'm talking about let's go to display okay we'll go to always on display if you notice you can't add a pitch anymore so if I want to have white shoes as my always on display you can't have that and let me show you what I'm talking about so let's pull out last year this is the plus let me put in my PIN number real quick okay start this one up let's go to settings we'll go to display go to always on display and look at the difference look at the difference in the menu now you got clock Styles right here okay I can change all of my different clock Styles add my images and all that there's no more clock Styles you're kind of forced to use Samsung's always on displays and here's another thing this is one of my biggest gripes now check this out you see where it says auto brightness you can turn that off and actually manually adjust the brightness of your always on display you can't do that anymore and this kind of bothers me because at night time when I got my phone like this on my on my um wireless charger sometimes I can't see my my notifications now with the G with this one look how much brighter you're always on display is now matter of fact I'll say I'll say when I do the full review I'll do some some in-depth thorough testing but that's just something that I wanted to mention that I don't like now I do got to talk about something else real quick check this out now I'm going to pull out this phone right here okay now I've been going back and forth with my homeboy online earlier he's down with the Apple Mafia okay he's one of the capital okay and look I get it I know I understand but every time I call these not the iPhone 15 Pro Max we're not talking about that that's a whole different Beast we talking about these okay the iPhone 15 and 15 plus versus the Galaxy okay versus the Galaxy where's my um okay here it is I just had it let's talk let's do it like this okay we'll leave the small ones let's do these two phones right here Galaxy s23 Plus versus the iPhone 15 plus now the Galaxy s23 plus starts at 1,000 bucks okay and the iPhone 15 plus 900 bucks and let me tell you why I call this the banana head iPhone with these specs hold on what is that okay my bad hold up with these specs if these specs was on an Android phone this phone would be 600 bucks you could not sell this spec Android phone for no 800 900 bucks it would not fly okay and this is 900 bucks from Apple let me show you what you get for that extra 100 bucks okay so if you're on the fence and you don't know which one to get you want a phone that's okay look they're basically the same size have that same mat feel on the side but let me run down the differences real quick and this is just what I came up off the top of my head thinking about it for the last couple of minutes what are you getting between a $1,000 phone and a $900 iPhone here's the difference refences with your Galaxy s24 plus you got an always on display okay customizable always on displays you can do it the same way you do it all right on on the iPhone 15 Pro Max or you can just have it regular with the iPhone 15 plus no always on display okay no always on display now keep this in mind keep this in the back of your mind this is a $100 difference between these two phones so you got an always on display versus no always on display next you got a brighter display okay this is 2600 nits brightness versus 2,000 nits brightness okay next you got higher resolution this is Quad HD this is full HD okay so you got a brighter display with more resolution next refresh rate this has a 120 HZ refresh rate this has a 60 HZ refresh rate and this is what I'm saying you could not sell an Android phone for 900 bucks with a 60 HZ refresh rate no one would buy it even the Galaxy s23 Fe The Fan Edition I would take this over that banana headphone but wait there's more fingerprint sensor you got face unlock and a fingerprint sensor versus only Face Unlock now why is that important when you're in your car and you got it on your little car mount and you're driving and you want to open up your phone you use your fingerprint with the iPhone you got to swipe up put it in your pattering I mean put in your code while you're driving or you got to try to lean over and look at it why not have both options so you got a fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock versus only Face Unlock but wait there's still more you got more cameras okay so you got the telephoto lens in the middle not to mention who want to be walking around with a phone that has two cameras on the back looking like a old school peasant versus three phones okay so you got more cameras that actually work and better cameras you got 8K video okay you got a bigger battery with faster charging speeds you got more RAM okay 12 gigs of ram versus 6 you got reverse wireless charging versus wired charging now I can charge both of these phones together but I got to walk around with the wire so you plug one wire in plug it into this and charge it now if you had it you outside at dinner and you forgot that cable you can't help charge somebody else's phone I could turn wireless charging on and charge up this phone just like that so you got reverse wireless charging you got 32-bit highres audio what does that mean when you PL your headphones in your music is going to sound better if you like using audio file wired headphones it's going to sound better you could do split screen multitasking you got Wireless decks now Wireless decks if you don't know what that is it's basically like walking around with two devices if I pull out a monitor right now I can peer up this phone wirelessly to that monitor and start watching YouTube videos and then pull out this phone and be on Instagram be on Twitter be sending emails be on the phone okay Wireless decks it's like having two devices built into one and that's what you're only paying $100 more okay I had to do a dramatic pause now look don't get me wrong I'm part of the Apple Mafia 2o but these phones right here if I had to choose between the galaxies okay if you don't want the flagship the top of the flagship phones like if you don't want the big boys okay the 15 Pro Max or the s24 ultra you said you know what I'm going to get one of the next versions down what should you get bro these iPhones I get it everybody's in the app the Apple ecosystem you got an Apple Watch you got a Macbook you you've been using iPhones for the last couple of years you don't want to learn no new phones look I'm going to tell you a quick story I just dropped off my car just now at the car shop I was talking to my man Dave all Dave if you watch this video come in the comments and let people know I'm not lying he just told me he was like yo you know what you doing today I said I'm getting ready to do a quick unboxing on these new G galx phones he said that the last Android phone I had was a OnePlus 8 he said I know in my heart of hearts that Android phones are way better than iPhones but I just don't want to learn them I'm just used to iPhones I don't want to learn them and a lot of y'all at home right now y'all got the same mindset and my advice would be snap out of that okay because you're doing yourself a disservice by spending 800 bucks and 900 bucks for these when you could be having so much more with these you can have so much more it's going to take you a couple of days to get you know out of that Apple ecosystem and get out of you know used to using certain ways the way you use your phone on iPhones but when you start using the galaxies and you start getting that level of customization you start getting used to having a fingerprint sensor okay you start getting used to all of these dope animated live screen wallpapers you start getting used to doing stuff like this going on Facebook and then going like this opening up as a popup okay or doing stuff like this going to Facebook and doing split screen multitasking bro split screen multitasking so that means I can be on Amazon shopping while I'm on Facebook or while I'm reading my emails okay you can't do that on an iPhone and in 2024 is amazing you still can't do that on an iPhone but anyway let's see um as far as I know I'm I'm ranting but check this out and I look at these wallpapers come on bro all right so of course you got your Edge panels now this is not going to be a full review I just want y'all to see what's going on look look I was playing with the um iPhone sticker thing just got busted but I was doing that for y'all Y I was doing that that wasn't for me that was for y'all oops anyway anyway okay so let's see um oh check this out now I I will answer one quick quick yo look at this you see the notifications right there now when I do my full review I'm going to show you how to get all of this cool stuff okay if you like that that's Samsung goodlock okay matter of fact why not I'll show you how to do it right now all you got to do is download Samsung goodlock let's go to it right now go to Samsung goodlock this is an app if you got an Android phone you need this this is mandatory you will have so much fun with this you see Edge lighting Okay click on edge lighting and I'm going to show you that effect that I got right now okay so let's do custom Style you see when I get a notification it's going to pop up like that how sick is that I love that but you can do this you can have it go like this you can have the Raindrop style you can have the cloud Style on this phone I got the popcorn so I'm going to leave the display on if you see me get a notification you're going to see that it's going to pop up like popcorn on the bottom pretty epic okay but I like to leave mines on um this one right here that's pretty dope but a lot of stuff to play with in um Samsung good luuck which I'll cover more when I do the full review let's go to camera real quick okay so you got portrait mode regular photos wide angle all the way up to 30 times Zoom okay now let's see for the I think the cameras are exactly the same is that no reason for me to go through both of these yep the cameras are exactly the same so I'm not going to go through on each phone but oh look at this hold up oh I'm on the look at this I was about to say you see I'm on the wrong phone and and this is exactly why I knew I was on the wrong phone I got too many phones down here let's see hold up okay it's this one right here hold up hold up okay so this is the s23 what am I doing bro all right here it goes let me move those out of the way I had the I had the a54 down here too okay oh it's over here okay let me just make sure the cameras are exactly the same 30 now let me show you you see and this one just made me mad cuz I was like oh hold up I'm going to leave this open cuz I want y'all to see that effect this is why I knew this is another thing I don't like that Samsung went a step backwards you see what they're always on display you see my notifications coming in different colors you see I got blue red white with the new ones I the new always on displays let me wipe it down the only app that comes in red is the YouTube all right the YouTube Studio even regular YouTube comes in white all right my Nest comes in white everything comes in white it used to have red white blue you know it was a lot brighter you can have your own picture I'm sorry s I'm I'm going have to cook y'all when I do my full review all right anyway let's go back we got video we got wide angle all the way up to 12 time zoom okay you got 8K video at 30 frames or 4K at 60 now let me clarify something real quick too cuz a lot of people have been hitting me up when I did my unboxing for the s23 uh s24 Ultra I said it only has 4K 60 frames per second what I meant by that was regular video but for slow motion that's a different story now if you go to slow motion okay slow motion you could do 4K at 120 frames per second but that's slow motion okay that's not the regular video you got to shoot that in slow motion you can do the same thing with these let's go to let's go to camera okay we'll go to more we'll go to slow motion okay for slow motion you got 4K at 120 frames per second that's slow motion but one of the dope things about this I'm going to show you something right now with these new phones all with the um look at this feature watch this you see I'm just driving around if I hold the display I can turn any video into slow motion now I shot this regular okay I can just turn it into slow motion that is pretty sick all right that is pretty sick okay so with both of these phones I'm going to unlock this with both of these phones you swipe over you're going to have your Google homepage okay you swipe down you got all your quick toggles like I said I'm not going to go through the individual settings okay I just want y'all to see okay there's all my notifications if you oh and another question somebody asked me you you y'all know the uh new feature with Google let me pull that up okay let's see let's pull a picture let's see okay like this hat right you hold down if I Circle these hats okay assman side the sidef assman hats it takes you right to Google so people was asking me will that work with people and it all depends on the person now if you if you're a regular Joe Blow it ain't going to work but if you got a social media presence it's going to work and let me show you exactly what I mean by that so I'm going to go to my Instagram let me get a a a photo that actually shows my handsome face okay like this one right here so we're going to do the same thing okay I'mma Circle this handsome guy right here and it popped up okay now I do kind of look like Cassidy but if I click on this okay it's going to take you to somebody made a uh what is this TV god.com all right FY Carter's age net worth netw worth you know who is they gave me a little quick write up that was about it all right anyway but it does work on certain people all right but it's definitely going to work on celebrities it's going to work on beist celebrities like me it's going to but I'm all over Instagram so I figured that that was going to work but you got all of the AI features that you're going to get on your uh Galaxy s23 Galaxy s24 Ultra all of the same AI features now I do want to talk about one more thing a lot of people been asking me to talk about Samsung charging for the AI I'm going to save that for my full review but that's kind of misleading because they did have some fine print on the website which they took off immediately the day the day of the launch they took that off but a lot of people seen it and screenshot it they took it off immediately now I think what Samsung meant to say is the AI all this AI stuff that you're doing on this phone right now I think that's going to be free but third party apps that start using AI I think they're going to you know they going to charge but I can't see them charging AI for that stuff I did just now when you could get it free on Pixel I I I don't think it's I I it's beyond it's beyond the realm of my imagination to think somebody going to pay to do this like ain't nobody paying ain't nobody going to be paying for that okay so but we got to do a little bit more research anyway Android 14 so all of the Android 14 widgets work this phone right here I'm going to just talk real quick as far as the s24 the regular version this is the perfect size phone if you got small hands or you already got a big maybe you got a big giant iPhone already and you want to be two phones Nelson and you want to you know you want to be part of the Apple Mafia and you want to be a hardcore Samsung night but you don't want to have two big giant phones in your pocket so you already got a big boy get a smaller version ladies you got small hands this is the perfect size phone the only thing missing from this phone is a Quad HD display but it is what it is now as far as the 23 why do I keep saying the 23 the 24 as far as the 24 plus let me move this out the way cuz D that that name shall who remain nameless the name the name of this case th thy shall remain nameless look black people don't be throwing away that we already paid for I know I don't rock with casetify like that no more well maybe I will maybe I won't but I already paid for this I ain't throwing it away bro black people don't do that okay we already paid for some we not burning it if they get canceled we just use that at the gym or in the house but we ain't throwing it away I had to throw that out there now for 1,000 bucks at 1,000 bucks this is kind of crazy because now you in this territory all right for 1,000 bucks you in this territory right here so the question is which one should you get for 1,000 bucks look if you on Verizon or you live in the USA I highly recommend not getting these over the Galaxy because these certain bands are missing so depending on where you live you're not going to get 5G if you on Verizon you can't even think about these phones okay and a lot of people every time you use your face unlock you don't want Shing ping I taking a screenshot of you a lot of people don't rock with the CCP phones I get it I get it these phones the cameras are on beast mode but if you live in a USA and you know you already in the Samsung ecosystem this phone right here now you got a Quad HD display okay on last year's version you didn't have that okay so this phone from last year was a little op overpriced I just made that I'm so stupid I'm so corny anyway now you got a Quad HD display the phone is actually a lot lighter and and it's not even a teeny bit ligh you're going to feel that difference okay this phone is a lot lighter okay and you get all of the same features look at that look at that wallpaper now I I purposely didn't want my face unlock to catch cuz I wanted y'all to see that quickly if you want to get those all you got to do is go to wallpapers in style go to change wallpaper and then go to Galaxy themes now I downloaded a few let me let me show you I'm going to save my favorite one okay this one right here we exit out now this is transparent weather a matter of fact I'll show you how to do all this real quick okay so when I click on you see I got the you know nvi State Building that's pretty sick then this is my actual weather is it is kind of raining outside right now this is transparent weather now let me show you that app what it looks like get your notifications they'll pop up on the dynamic alley okay so here's the size difference between the s24 ultra and the s24 plus okay s24 Ultra is definitely a taller and wider phone now let me talk about this real quick I know look you see here's the here's the app the dynamic Isen and look e this app right here and this is again this is why I say apple is so corny because you see apple got the dynamic Island right but the dynamic Island doesn't even work like this the Android app for dynamic Island beats Apple's original Dynamic Island because on Apple it doesn't work on everything on Android it works on every single app now if you want to use your Dynamic Island okay on on your iPhone you use it for certain apps you use it for um Uber Eats you use it for music you know use it for your maps on this every notification you get pops up and you can interact with it from there just like that now let me talk about one one more thing I know I've been um there's a lot of things that I don't like about this phone but I will say this I love this phone this is my favorite phone right now this is the Galaxy s24 Ultra this is a Galaxy Note now my favorite phone of all time was the Galaxy Note 20 and then I had a different note y'all remember when I had that red Galaxy Note my favorite phone of all times was the Galaxy Note and after using this phone for maybe about a week now every time I use it I'm holding it in my hand and I'm like why do I love this phone so much it's because it really feels like a Galaxy Note and I love the way that they made it completely flat so if you're using the Spen now you can go all the way to the edge of the display okay but again I'm I'm going to save all of my Rand rumbling so I do my full review as of right now on a scale of 1 to 10 the Galaxy s24 and s24 plus these are a major major major go I got to do it one more time all right Apple Mafia stand down and stand by these are banana headphones right here but I get it you know I get it you're locked into the Apple ecosystem you got no choice but eat your heart out okay eat your heart out for 8 to 900 Bucks versus 8 in the Thousand bro Samsung is winning matter of fact let me do the smell test just to make sure let me do this one too it smells like another nail in the Apple cofin okay another nail in the proverbial Apple coffin okay now look I get it and look I could have did the same thing if I if y'all really want me to go off on some I could have did the same thing with the s24 versus the iPhone 15 Pro Max the big boy okay yeah you got 120 refresh rate but I can sit here and name 25 things that this phone does that this phone doesn't and I could probably name five or six things that the iPhone does that this one doesn't but 25 to 30 things we haven't even talked that that's 416 for the PPI Patrol the phone is ip68 dust and water resistant you got Gorilla Glass vicus 2 on the front and on the back with the armor aluminium frame you got HDR 10 plus it goes up to 2600 nits brightness and you got a 120 HZ refresh rate for the processor you got the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Generation 3 with the adrenal 750 GPU now what does that mean in English Flagship specs been using this phone for a couple of minutes had to set everything up this is a beautiful phone now we got to talk about this in a minute because a lot of people have been asking me which one should you get the uh the Galaxy s24 or the iPhone 15 and I'm going to show you why the Galaxy s24 completely and I mean completely destroys this iPhone it's not even close Okay so this is the Galaxy s24 now let's take it over to the Galaxy s24 plus right shoes back up a little right Galaxy s24 plus now this one is going to start at 1,000 bucks okay let me move this stuff out my peripheral vision okay we'll leave this one right here now Galaxy s24 plus starts at 1,000 bucks comes in the same colors you got Violet yellow black gray green blue and orange now for the display you got a 6.7 in ltpo no expandable memory no IR Blaster and no headphone jack that just whack # bars all right here's the Galaxy s24 now let's enjoy this presentation which will take about a good 30 seconds okay now look y'all know I'm about to roast when I do my full review this is just an unboxing so we're going to keep it light but your unboxing experience shouldn't be 30 seconds okay it shouldn't be 30 seconds for no device so you got your sim injection tool in there you got a cable you got a little pamplet and that's pretty much it I don't like that now here's the s24 hold up let me just going to peel this off wipe it down bang s24 plus now this is the violet color Okay Violet so we got gray and violet now check this out like I said I've been using this phone for a minute so I already set everything up of course you got the beautiful animated lock screens let's see what I got on this one we got the airplane coming in hot okay I love that you got always on displays with animations That's So Dope let me show you which one I got on this let's see okay we got another animated y'all see I'm into race cars pretty dope all right so let me pause the video delete my browsing history and then we'll walk through the OS and we'll talk about a few things Talk Amongst yourselves all right y so we back in first let's take a look at the difference between last year's s23 and s23 plus versus this year's version this is the new one this is last year's s23 as far as size pretty much identical but now you see you have the matte frame versus the glossy aluminium frame with the plus version same thing I like this matte frame a lot better than the glossy frame now let's pull out the scales adjust this let's see if they're going to work for us today and we'll check the weights okay so last year Galaxy s23 170 54 the new version 167 okay so it's actually a lighter device now last year's Galaxy s23 plus 20138 actually 20.39 now we got 197 now this is a dramatic difference in weight even without the scales ad Justice just holding them in my hands I can tell last year's version is a little bit heavier so I like the lighter frame design now I'm not going to waste your time going through all of the settings because they're exactly the same as the Galaxy s23 Ultra I'll leave a link you can just watch that video and if you're curious about my live wallpapers I'll leave a link show you how to get all of these too this is the one I'm using on the big boy okay let's file this to the side but let's just walk through some of the quick Basics now this phone right here no Quad HD display okay this is the smallest version you got your onscreen fingerprint sensor matter of fact let's look around first why not I'm not going to go through the settings but I'll do the basic stuff I love this new frame okay that matte look again if I pull out last year's version you see how it's kind of shiny and has more fingerprints the new FL frames okay no fingerprints on one side you got power button volume up and down there's your triple camera setup LED flash nice matte finish on the back very smooth doesn't have that silky feel to it this kind of has a matte feel okay if you like small phones you're going to like this one very pocketable okay on the top just got your sensors this side nice and clean the bottom SIM tray USB type-c charging slot there's your speaker Grill now in the like I showed you you got always on displays customizable you got on screen lock uh lock screen widgets notifications okay battery percentage couple of different ways you can open up the device okay just look at that live wallpaper one more time coming in hot okay you can swipe up put in your pattern and your PIN next you got your on screen fingerprint sensor which is probably Samsung's best fingerprint sensor yet Works flawlessly and you can do it with the screen off just like that and you got face unlock okay now let's see if we get three in a row two we'll do one more nope you see and this is oh okay now we got okay we got to get three in a row there's one two three okay now when I do my full review for the Galaxy all right we got some things to talk about because there's a couple of things that I don't like which I'll give yall a spoiler alert right now check this out let's pull out the matter of fact let's walk around the let's do the the big boy this is the s23 plus there's your power button volume up and down okay back triple camera setup same mat feel on this same mat feel on the sides sensors okay clean USB typ-c charging slot slot Sim train and speaker Grill okay now let's get okay what is this okay get exit out of that same thing let's see um there's your animated wall uh always on displays lock screen widgets notifications time battery percentage fingerprint sensor let's see if we get three in a row two three now this is actually like I said Samsung's best fingerprint sensor remember I used to do this with the xiaomi phones and be like you can't do this with Samsung phones now you can actually do that let's hit the face unlock that's one two three now Samsung does need a little bit of help in the face unlock department but I ain't going to make a big deal about that but there's some things that I want to show you that are a little bit different I'll just run through one real quick and this is what kind of bothers me about Samsung now I don't want to spoil my SN cut full review but I hate when companies take a step forward and then they take two steps back let me show you what I'm talking about let's go to display okay we'll go to always on display if you notice you can't add a pitch anymore so if I want to have white shoes as my always on display you can't have that and let me show you what I'm talking about so let's pull out last year this is the plus let me put in my PIN number real quick okay start this one up let's go to settings we'll go to display go to always on display and look at the difference look at the difference in the menu now you got clock Styles right here okay I can change all of my different clock Styles add my images and all that there's no more clock Styles you're kind of forced to use Samsung's always on displays and here's another thing this is one of my biggest gripes now check this out you see where it says auto brightness you can turn that off and actually manually adjust the brightness of your always on display you can't do that anymore and this kind of bothers me because at night time when I got my phone like this on my on my um wireless charger sometimes I can't see my my notifications now with the G with this one look how much brighter you're always on display is now matter of fact I'll say I'll say when I do the full review I'll do some some in-depth thorough testing but that's just something that I wanted to mention that I don't like now I do got to talk about something else real quick check this out now I'm going to pull out this phone right here okay now I've been going back and forth with my homeboy online earlier he's down with the Apple Mafia okay he's one of the capital okay and look I get it I know I understand but every time I call these not the iPhone 15 Pro Max we're not talking about that that's a whole different Beast we talking about these okay the iPhone 15 and 15 plus versus the Galaxy okay versus the Galaxy where's my um okay here it is I just had it let's talk let's do it like this okay we'll leave the small ones let's do these two phones right here Galaxy s23 Plus versus the iPhone 15 plus now the Galaxy s23 plus starts at 1,000 bucks okay and the iPhone 15 plus 900 bucks and let me tell you why I call this the banana head iPhone with these specs hold on what is that okay my bad hold up with these specs if these specs was on an Android phone this phone would be 600 bucks you could not sell this spec Android phone for no 800 900 bucks it would not fly okay and this is 900 bucks from Apple let me show you what you get for that extra 100 bucks okay so if you're on the fence and you don't know which one to get you want a phone that's okay look they're basically the same size have that same mat feel on the side but let me run down the differences real quick and this is just what I came up off the top of my head thinking about it for the last couple of minutes what are you getting between a $1,000 phone and a $900 iPhone here's the difference refences with your Galaxy s24 plus you got an always on display okay customizable always on displays you can do it the same way you do it all right on on the iPhone 15 Pro Max or you can just have it regular with the iPhone 15 plus no always on display okay no always on display now keep this in mind keep this in the back of your mind this is a $100 difference between these two phones so you got an always on display versus no always on display next you got a brighter display okay this is 2600 nits brightness versus 2,000 nits brightness okay next you got higher resolution this is Quad HD this is full HD okay so you got a brighter display with more resolution next refresh rate this has a 120 HZ refresh rate this has a 60 HZ refresh rate and this is what I'm saying you could not sell an Android phone for 900 bucks with a 60 HZ refresh rate no one would buy it even the Galaxy s23 Fe The Fan Edition I would take this over that banana headphone but wait there's more fingerprint sensor you got face unlock and a fingerprint sensor versus only Face Unlock now why is that important when you're in your car and you got it on your little car mount and you're driving and you want to open up your phone you use your fingerprint with the iPhone you got to swipe up put it in your pattering I mean put in your code while you're driving or you got to try to lean over and look at it why not have both options so you got a fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock versus only Face Unlock but wait there's still more you got more cameras okay so you got the telephoto lens in the middle not to mention who want to be walking around with a phone that has two cameras on the back looking like a old school peasant versus three phones okay so you got more cameras that actually work and better cameras you got 8K video okay you got a bigger battery with faster charging speeds you got more RAM okay 12 gigs of ram versus 6 you got reverse wireless charging versus wired charging now I can charge both of these phones together but I got to walk around with the wire so you plug one wire in plug it into this and charge it now if you had it you outside at dinner and you forgot that cable you can't help charge somebody else's phone I could turn wireless charging on and charge up this phone just like that so you got reverse wireless charging you got 32-bit highres audio what does that mean when you PL your headphones in your music is going to sound better if you like using audio file wired headphones it's going to sound better you could do split screen multitasking you got Wireless decks now Wireless decks if you don't know what that is it's basically like walking around with two devices if I pull out a monitor right now I can peer up this phone wirelessly to that monitor and start watching YouTube videos and then pull out this phone and be on Instagram be on Twitter be sending emails be on the phone okay Wireless decks it's like having two devices built into one and that's what you're only paying $100 more okay I had to do a dramatic pause now look don't get me wrong I'm part of the Apple Mafia 2o but these phones right here if I had to choose between the galaxies okay if you don't want the flagship the top of the flagship phones like if you don't want the big boys okay the 15 Pro Max or the s24 ultra you said you know what I'm going to get one of the next versions down what should you get bro these iPhones I get it everybody's in the app the Apple ecosystem you got an Apple Watch you got a Macbook you you've been using iPhones for the last couple of years you don't want to learn no new phones look I'm going to tell you a quick story I just dropped off my car just now at the car shop I was talking to my man Dave all Dave if you watch this video come in the comments and let people know I'm not lying he just told me he was like yo you know what you doing today I said I'm getting ready to do a quick unboxing on these new G galx phones he said that the last Android phone I had was a OnePlus 8 he said I know in my heart of hearts that Android phones are way better than iPhones but I just don't want to learn them I'm just used to iPhones I don't want to learn them and a lot of y'all at home right now y'all got the same mindset and my advice would be snap out of that okay because you're doing yourself a disservice by spending 800 bucks and 900 bucks for these when you could be having so much more with these you can have so much more it's going to take you a couple of days to get you know out of that Apple ecosystem and get out of you know used to using certain ways the way you use your phone on iPhones but when you start using the galaxies and you start getting that level of customization you start getting used to having a fingerprint sensor okay you start getting used to all of these dope animated live screen wallpapers you start getting used to doing stuff like this going on Facebook and then going like this opening up as a popup okay or doing stuff like this going to Facebook and doing split screen multitasking bro split screen multitasking so that means I can be on Amazon shopping while I'm on Facebook or while I'm reading my emails okay you can't do that on an iPhone and in 2024 is amazing you still can't do that on an iPhone but anyway let's see um as far as I know I'm I'm ranting but check this out and I look at these wallpapers come on bro all right so of course you got your Edge panels now this is not going to be a full review I just want y'all to see what's going on look look I was playing with the um iPhone sticker thing just got busted but I was doing that for y'all Y I was doing that that wasn't for me that was for y'all oops anyway anyway okay so let's see um oh check this out now I I will answer one quick quick yo look at this you see the notifications right there now when I do my full review I'm going to show you how to get all of this cool stuff okay if you like that that's Samsung goodlock okay matter of fact why not I'll show you how to do it right now all you got to do is download Samsung goodlock let's go to it right now go to Samsung goodlock this is an app if you got an Android phone you need this this is mandatory you will have so much fun with this you see Edge lighting Okay click on edge lighting and I'm going to show you that effect that I got right now okay so let's do custom Style you see when I get a notification it's going to pop up like that how sick is that I love that but you can do this you can have it go like this you can have the Raindrop style you can have the cloud Style on this phone I got the popcorn so I'm going to leave the display on if you see me get a notification you're going to see that it's going to pop up like popcorn on the bottom pretty epic okay but I like to leave mines on um this one right here that's pretty dope but a lot of stuff to play with in um Samsung good luuck which I'll cover more when I do the full review let's go to camera real quick okay so you got portrait mode regular photos wide angle all the way up to 30 times Zoom okay now let's see for the I think the cameras are exactly the same is that no reason for me to go through both of these yep the cameras are exactly the same so I'm not going to go through on each phone but oh look at this hold up oh I'm on the look at this I was about to say you see I'm on the wrong phone and and this is exactly why I knew I was on the wrong phone I got too many phones down here let's see hold up okay it's this one right here hold up hold up okay so this is the s23 what am I doing bro all right here it goes let me move those out of the way I had the I had the a54 down here too okay oh it's over here okay let me just make sure the cameras are exactly the same 30 now let me show you you see and this one just made me mad cuz I was like oh hold up I'm going to leave this open cuz I want y'all to see that effect this is why I knew this is another thing I don't like that Samsung went a step backwards you see what they're always on display you see my notifications coming in different colors you see I got blue red white with the new ones I the new always on displays let me wipe it down the only app that comes in red is the YouTube all right the YouTube Studio even regular YouTube comes in white all right my Nest comes in white everything comes in white it used to have red white blue you know it was a lot brighter you can have your own picture I'm sorry s I'm I'm going have to cook y'all when I do my full review all right anyway let's go back we got video we got wide angle all the way up to 12 time zoom okay you got 8K video at 30 frames or 4K at 60 now let me clarify something real quick too cuz a lot of people have been hitting me up when I did my unboxing for the s23 uh s24 Ultra I said it only has 4K 60 frames per second what I meant by that was regular video but for slow motion that's a different story now if you go to slow motion okay slow motion you could do 4K at 120 frames per second but that's slow motion okay that's not the regular video you got to shoot that in slow motion you can do the same thing with these let's go to let's go to camera okay we'll go to more we'll go to slow motion okay for slow motion you got 4K at 120 frames per second that's slow motion but one of the dope things about this I'm going to show you something right now with these new phones all with the um look at this feature watch this you see I'm just driving around if I hold the display I can turn any video into slow motion now I shot this regular okay I can just turn it into slow motion that is pretty sick all right that is pretty sick okay so with both of these phones I'm going to unlock this with both of these phones you swipe over you're going to have your Google homepage okay you swipe down you got all your quick toggles like I said I'm not going to go through the individual settings okay I just want y'all to see okay there's all my notifications if you oh and another question somebody asked me you you y'all know the uh new feature with Google let me pull that up okay let's see let's pull a picture let's see okay like this hat right you hold down if I Circle these hats okay assman side the sidef assman hats it takes you right to Google so people was asking me will that work with people and it all depends on the person now if you if you're a regular Joe Blow it ain't going to work but if you got a social media presence it's going to work and let me show you exactly what I mean by that so I'm going to go to my all of the same AI features now I do want to talk about one more thing a lot of people been asking me to talk about Samsung charging for the AI I'm going to save that for my full review but that's kind of misleading because they did have some fine print on the website which they took off immediately the day the day of the launch they took that off but a lot of people seen it and screenshot it they took it off immediately now I think what Samsung meant to say is the AI all this AI stuff that you're doing on this phone right now I think that's going to be free but third party apps that start using AI I think they're going to you know they going to charge but I can't see them charging AI for that stuff I did just now when you could get it free on Pixel I I I don't think it's I I it's beyond it's beyond the realm of my imagination to think somebody going to pay to do this like ain't nobody paying ain't nobody going to be paying for that okay so but we got to do a little bit more research anyway Android 14 so all of the Android 14 widgets work this phone right here I'm going to just talk real quick as far as the s24 the regular version this is the perfect size phone if you got small hands or you already got a big maybe you got a big giant iPhone already and you want to be two phones Nelson and you want to you know you want to be part of the Apple Mafia and you want to be a hardcore Samsung night but you don't want to have two big giant phones in your pocket so you already got a big boy get a smaller version ladies you got small hands this is the perfect size phone the only thing missing from this phone is a Quad HD display but it is what it is now as far as the 23 why do I keep saying the 23 the 24 as far as the 24 plus let me move this out the way cuz D that that name shall who remain nameless the name the name of this case th thy shall remain nameless look black people don't be throwing away that we already paid for I know I don't rock with casetify like that no more well maybe I will maybe I won't but I already paid for this I ain't throwing it away bro black people don't do that okay we already paid for some we not burning it if they get canceled we just use that at the gym or in the house but we ain't throwing it away I had to throw that out there now for 1,000 bucks at 1,000 bucks this is kind of crazy because now you in this territory all right for 1,000 bucks you in this territory right here so the question is which one should you get for 1,000 bucks look if you on Verizon or you live in the USA I highly recommend not getting these over the Galaxy because these certain bands are missing so depending on where you live you're not going to get 5G if you on Verizon you can't even think about these phones okay and a lot of people every time you use your face unlock you don't want Shing ping I taking a screenshot of you a lot of people don't rock with the CCP phones I get it I get it these phones the cameras are on beast mode but if you live in a USA and you know you already in the Samsung ecosystem this phone right here now you got a Quad HD display okay on last year's version you didn't have that okay so this phone from last year was a little op overpriced I just made that I'm so stupid I'm so corny anyway now you got a Quad HD display the phone is actually a lot lighter and and it's not even a teeny bit ligh you're going to feel that difference okay this phone is a lot lighter okay and you get all of the same features look at that look at that wallpaper now I I purposely didn't want my face unlock to catch cuz I wanted y'all to see that quickly if you want to get those all you got to do is go to wallpapers in style go to change wallpaper and then go to Galaxy themes now I downloaded a few let me let me show you I'm going to save my favorite one okay this one right here we exit out now this is transparent weather a matter of fact I'll show you how to do all this real quick okay so when I click on you see I got the you know nvi State Building that's pretty sick then this is my actual weather is it is kind of raining outside right now this is transparent weather now let me show you that app what it looks like transparent weather download that and then you can set uh the live wallpaper to be the weather now somebody asked me about this app also you see now of course I don't got any notifications but Dynamic spot let me show you what dynamic spot looks like so when you go to download it this one right here if you want Dynamic spot make sure it looks like this the blue one and it's one word then when you get your notifications they'll pop up on the dynamic alley okay so here's the size difference between the s24 ultra and the s24 plus okay s24 Ultra is definitely a taller and wider phone now let me talk about this real quick I know look you see here's the here's the app the dynamic Isen and look e this app right here and this is again this is why I say apple is so corny because you see apple got the dynamic Island right but the dynamic Island doesn't even work like this the Android app for dynamic Island beats Apple's original Dynamic Island because on Apple it doesn't work on everything on Android it works on every single app now if you want to use your Dynamic Island okay on on your iPhone you use it for certain apps you use it for um Uber Eats you use it for music you know use it for your maps on this every notification you get pops up and you can interact with it from there just like that now let me talk about one one more thing I know I've been um there's a lot of things that I don't like about this phone but I will say this I love this phone this is my favorite phone right now this is the Galaxy s24 Ultra this is a Galaxy Note now my favorite phone of all time was the Galaxy Note 20 and then I had a different note y'all remember when I had that red Galaxy Note my favorite phone of all times was the Galaxy Note and after using this phone for maybe about a week now every time I use it I'm holding it in my hand and I'm like why do I love this phone so much it's because it really feels like a Galaxy Note and I love the way that they made it completely flat so if you're using the Spen now you can go all the way to the edge of the display okay but again I'm I'm going to save all of my Rand rumbling so I do my full review as of right now on a scale of 1 to 10 the Galaxy s24 and s24 plus these are a major major major go I got to do it one more time all right Apple Mafia stand down and stand by these are banana headphones right here but I get it you know I get it you're locked into the Apple ecosystem you got no choice but eat your heart out okay eat your heart out for 8 to 900 Bucks versus 8 in the Thousand bro Samsung is winning matter of fact let me do the smell test just to make sure let me do this one too it smells like another nail in the Apple cofin okay another nail in the proverbial Apple coffin okay now look I get it and look I could have did the same thing if I if y'all really want me to go off on some I could have did the same thing with the s24 versus the iPhone 15 Pro Max the big boy okay yeah you got 120 refresh rate but I can sit here and name 25 things that this phone does that this phone doesn't and I could probably name five or six things that the iPhone does that this one doesn't but 25 to 30 things we haven't even talked about Bluetooth orac cast we haven't even talked about a lot of things yet bro I would hate to be stuck being an apple banana head peasant luckily for me I'm a Samsung night anyway hit me up in the
