My Experience with Star Wars Battlefront 2: A Gamers' Perspective
I recently had the opportunity to play the arcade mode and I fell in love with it. The ability to run around with the red lifesaver was incredibly satisfying, and even though I'm not really knowledgeable about the Star Wars theme, I'm a fan of it. I like the artwork, and I even have a t-shirt of Star Wars that I wear with my Thunder force because the Star Wars logo is yellow and the t-shirt is black. I used to be a fly guy back in the days, still am fly, but I like the design. However, I don't understand what's going on, which is fine for me since I'm not really knowledgeable about the game.
The arcade mode is a one-person show with no complaints from this gamer. The maps are big enough to breathe and take cover in, which was great. Taking it to the multiplayer side of the game, my first multiplayer game mode I played was the one where you control like an air spacecraft at first. I was like what is this, but in a sense, I like the variety that they have with it because it's not all guns blazing. You're flying ships and having dogfights in the air, which was actually kind of peaceful and easy.
I was never good with airplane games, but towards the end, I started getting better at shooting down enemy spacecraft. However, I didn't hate this game from the start. In fact, the more I played it, the more I enjoyed it. It was a nice touch to have objectives like shooting down enemy spacecraft, and I had fun doing it. The gameplay is very similar to Battlefield, which is no surprise since Dice and EA are known for their collaboration.
The map I played was a jungle map that was colorful and easy to see in terms of enemies versus me because the troopers are white, making them easy to spot. However, getting killed by other players a couple of times was frustrating, but overall, if you love Battlefield and Star Wars, this game is for you.
One thing I noticed was that the guns feel improved compared to the first Battlefront. The range, damage, and accuracy have all been tweaked to make them more enjoyable to use. However, as someone who isn't a fan of Star Wars, I don't really care about these improvements. But if you're a fan of the franchise or just looking for a fun multiplayer experience, this game is definitely worth checking out.
Overall, my first impressions of Star Wars Battlefront 2 are positive. I had a lot of fun playing the beta and exploring the game's modes. However, as a gamer who isn't really knowledgeable about Star Wars, I don't have any real insights to share about the game. If you're looking for a comprehensive review, there are probably more qualified reviewers out there. But if you just want to know what one gamer thinks of this game, here it is.
My Experience with Star Wars Battlefront 2: Campaign Mode
I recently had the opportunity to play the campaign mode and I didn't even bother clicking on it because I wasn't sure if we could actually play it or not. However, since the beta was out, I figured it would be worth checking out. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to play through the entire campaign, but I did get a glimpse of what's in store for players.
The campaign mode is highlighted as one of the game's main features, but I didn't really have any chance to experience it firsthand. As a gamer who isn't really knowledgeable about Star Wars, I don't know much about the story or characters, and I'm not sure if that would affect my ability to enjoy the campaign.
Real Multiplayer Experience
When it comes to real multiplayer gameplay, Star Wars Battlefront 2 is definitely on par with other games in the Battlefield series. The gameplay is fast-paced and action-packed, with a focus on teamwork and strategy. In terms of the experience, I can see why this game would appeal to fans of Star Wars.
One thing that really stood out to me was how immersive the multiplayer experience felt. Playing as a trooper or a pilot, it felt like I was actually in the midst of an epic battle between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire. The sounds, visuals, and gameplay all came together to create an incredibly engaging experience.
In terms of maps, I played on a jungle map that was colorful and easy to see, with troopers being white which made them stand out against the environment. This actually made it pretty easy for me to spot enemy players, but at the same time, made it a bit frustrating when they would sneak up behind me.
The gameplay itself is similar to other games in the Battlefield series, but there are some key differences that set Star Wars Battlefront 2 apart. The most noticeable difference is probably the emphasis on flying and space battles, which adds a whole new layer of depth to the game. However, as someone who's not a fan of airplane games, this aspect of the gameplay didn't really resonate with me.
Overall, I was impressed by the real multiplayer experience offered by Star Wars Battlefront 2. The gameplay is fast-paced and action-packed, with a focus on teamwork and strategy. If you're looking for a fun multiplayer game to play with friends or online, this could definitely be worth checking out.
