Welcome to Our First Video of Computex 2015
We'd like to extend our gratitude to MSIinlinda.com for making our coverage of this event possible this year. Check out their products in the video description down below, as they have an impressive array of offerings that we'll be showcasing throughout our coverage of Computex.
Gigabyte G1 Gaming 980 Ti: A New Era of Cooling
We're excited to take a closer look at Gigabyte's latest creation, the G1 Gaming 980 Ti. This card features a new and improved WinForce cooler, which boasts three fans, five 8mm heat pipes, and one 6mm heat pipe. The triangular heat sink design and back plate work together to provide an impressive 600 watts of thermal dissipation. What's notable about this cooling solution is that it's not standard on most 980 Ti models, making the G1 Gaming 980 Ti a unique offering in the market.
Aesthetics and Features
From an aesthetic standpoint, the Gigabyte G1 Gaming 980 Ti looks sleek and modern, thanks to additional silver accents on the front part of the heatsinks. This gives it a distinct look that sets it apart from other WinForce coolers. The logo itself is backlit with seven different color LEDs, which are controllable through a downloadable software utility from Gigabyte. This means that users can customize the lighting effects to suit their preferences, without having to rely on physical buttons.
The two physical buttons on either side of the Gigabyte logo serve the same purpose - they turn off the fans. While this might not seem like a groundbreaking feature, it's still a welcome addition for those who prefer a quieter gaming experience.
Thermal Performance and Core Clock Speed
We don't have exact details on the core clock speed of the 980 Ti, as Gigabyte hasn't locked down the performance just yet. However, we do know that the memory clock speed remains at stock levels of 7,010 MHz. The card also features six gigabytes of RAM, which is a welcome addition for those who want to take advantage of this additional memory.
The I/O configuration on the Gigabyte G1 Gaming 980 Ti includes DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort, with either one or two more display ports available, depending on the specific model. While we won't be counting this as an official WinForce card, it's still an impressive offering that showcases Gigabyte's commitment to innovation.
Conclusion and Future Plans
We're excited to see what else Computex has in store for us, particularly when it comes to variations of the 980 Ti. It's clear that Gigabyte is pushing the boundaries of what's possible with this popular GPU, and we can't wait to see how they continue to innovate in the coming months.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwelcome to our first video of computex 2015. and thank you to msinlinda.com for making our coverage of this event possible this year check them out in the video description down below we'll be checking out the gigabyte g1 gaming 980 ti featuring a new and improved winforce cooler with three fans five eight millimeter heat pipes and one six millimeter heat pipe a triangular heat sink design and a back plate which is not actually standard on 980 ti's which will all come together and provide 600 watts of thermal dissipation i'll cover its thermal performance more in an actual review video once i'm back from computex so stay tuned for that but in terms of aesthetics it also has some more silver accents on the actual like front part of the heatsinks which looks pretty sleek and actually makes it look different from other winforce coolers which is a little bit of a change maybe not to grill them too much and also the logo the gigabyte logo is backlit with a seven different color led those colors are white teal purple yellow green red and blue the rgb colors are controllable through a downloadable use software utility from gigabyte not a physical button just so you know and there are two physical buttons but they do the same thing one of them is stop and the other one is silent they're on each side of the gigabyte logo and they just essentially turn off the fans in terms of the actual gpu i don't know how fast it is the 980 ti is an extremely new gpu and this is an extremely new cooler and etc etc etc so they haven't locked down the core clock speed we do know that the memory clock speed is still at stock so seven thousand and ten megahertz and it has six gigabytes of ram so it's not an extra memory card but they're still playing with that boost clock and i have no idea how fast it actually is so we'll see once i get it back into my hands back at the office in terms of i o you've got dvi hdmi and display port along with either one dvi or two more display ports for a total of a potential five outputs natively i would say that i've done too many reviews on winforce cars to actually count and this isn't technically a win force card because the g1 card but someone would probably go and actually count it so like i said stay tuned for that in the future we'll definitely have a review on this card i'm interested to see how high they get that boost clock since considering how close 980 ti actually already is to a titan x all right guys that's it i'm excited to see what else computex has to offer and i think a lot of it is going to be different variations of a 980 ti so that's going to be fun to see all right thanks again to msi for sending us here this year we wouldn't be here without them check
