As I looked around the room, I spotted some familiar faces - Michelle, the star of our TV show, Michelle stood nervously before us as she had her last service on January 13th; Thomas Harry had handed over to Valentin. the year many of you will know I was asked to help make a video all about hydrogen and that video I really proud of that that piece of work but it went down very well within michand and then towards the end of the year I had the most amazing conversation where I was invited to become a brand ambassador for michelan UK for this year 2024 now for me that is a huge honor but to work with a brand that I I admire and resonate with so much whether it's with petrop ped my very first brand trip my very first press trip was with melan to go to their test facility at Leo whether it's the tires I run on my cars the tires I run on my bikes it's really really exciting to be working with such an amazing brand now what we've got plann this year lots of things basically what being a brand ambassador means is I'm going to get invited or involved in lots of really cool activities that give me an opportunity to bring contact or content to you but also I'll be helping michelan make content of their own but that content will be available to you as well so a really exciting year and I cannot wait to get started but this evening we've got a really great evening ahead of us so let's grab a glass of champag and we'll go and see what's happening this evening maybe we'll bump into a famous chef or two but yeah a really exciting year this year let's go and explore the Michelin guide Awards so everyone is sat down ready for the ceremony this room is literally full of every great chef in the UK I am a massive foodie and one of the things that really excites me about working with mishan this year isn't just the car stuff or the bike stuff but we're going to be doing stuff around the Michelin guide Michelin stars amazing places to eat amazing hotels to stay in but you look at this room and literally everybody all of my culinary heroes are in here I'm trying not to be a fanboy I haven't yet gone up to anyone and going oh let me shake your hand but the big thing is who's going to win who are the guys with new stars who are the guys that are going from 1 to two or maybe even two to three you can feel the atmosphere really exciting anous inspectors keep traveling the world to find the best experiences we are epicurian explorers talented chefs and hotelier local farmers Craftsmen wine Growers each with a unique vision but with the same wish creating memorable moments they're my fraud go himself this perfect match goes straight in the guide with two stars for its Exquisite cooking courtesy of Franchesco de de Bernardo so three musim star is an exceptional achievement it says that your Resturant is not only considered as one of the best in the country but also one of the best in the world and maintaining three star requires skills dedication and a lot of art work so tonight I'm delighted to announce that all eight three star restaurants have retained their award this year so let's congratulate them and welcome the chefs up onto the stage well gendell I assume now this restaurant delivers everything that we want to see in a three star restaurant today I'm going to give you a clue it's in London and they grow their own mushrooms and missar C well GRE I uh we can't let a A Moment Like This pass without having a few words from you um the reaction from the room obviously says a lot how are you feeling about this yeah it just blown away had no idea um we were sort of coming up today wondering what might happen but we knew we had sort of probably been on the radar a bit but I thought probably I'd have to tell you beforehand and we had no idea so well there you go that's the end of the ceremony absolutely amazing atmosphere there's people kind of going in that way to get out but all of the winners so the guys getting new single Stars new double stars and then the most amazing there were eight restaurants in the UK with three michand stars and one new one this evening absolutely amazing for me I think you know I'm a big fan fan of programs like Master Chef Trac and I love going out to eat at M St restaurants we're very lucky we've been to one melin star and two Miss star I am yet to go to three but I know how much hard work it takes for these chefs to get to that level to get a Michelin guide person come in eat at the restaurant and then tip that box to say you're going to have a Michelin star absolutely amazing so anyway we're now going to go on I think celebrate with everybody else but I have to say I'm so excited for this year being a brand ambassador for michelan is just a just a dream come true for me I can't wait to share with you all
