Destiny's Easter Gift Guide: A Look at the Cards and Gifts Received

It was an exciting Easter weekend for Destiny, filled with gifts from loved ones. As she sat down to read her cards, it was clear that everyone had put thought into selecting special presents just for her.

One of the first cards Destiny opened was a beautifully handmade card from someone who wished to remain anonymous. The card featured a message that read "I've read your card thank you very much it's very nice of you it's time to open more gifts from you very nice card we don't know who this is for, I guess we'll figure it out." It was clear that the person who wrote the card had put a lot of thought into selecting a unique and personalized message.

As Destiny continued to read her cards, she came across one from David. The card featured a Scrabble game board with a few letters missing. Destiny recognized the name "Driftwood Heights" on the card and remembered that it was a place that held special meaning for her family. She also spotted the names "David", "Dave", "Steve", "Kristen", "Debbie", and "Franco", which made her think of all the people who had given her cards.

Destiny's eyes widened as she looked at the various gifts she had received. There was a beautifully crafted piece of wood that she recognized as Driftwood Heights, with the message "Charlotte Driftwood Heights for Seaside def Franco David 1984 when we met or got married". She remembered that this was actually a special spot where her family had first met, and it brought back fond memories.

As Destiny continued to look at her cards, she came across one from someone who had made a handmade gift. The card featured a message that read "I love find woman is a good brand yes cool a w FL doggies a very nice Destiny thank you so much please find your mug with the dog on it". Destiny was touched by the thoughtful gift and couldn't wait to show it off.

One of the gifts that caught her eye was a mug from Pineer Woman. She recognized the brand as one of her favorites and loved the design featuring a cute dog. It was clear that whoever had given her this gift had thought of her favorite things when selecting it.

As Destiny continued to read her cards, she came across one with a message that read "I like this one look a little cup for shy that's really nice thank you very much I'm guessing this might be for me Dave we got to read your note on your peeps you got peeps from her that might be I hope it's mine". She smiled as she thought about her husband, Dave, and the sweet gift he had given her.

Destiny also came across a card with a message that read "I really hope this is mine I love this mug where's your basket honey put your I I like this one a lot an's grass I got to find a note I don't know where it is I I'll I'll find I promise". She was excited to find out who had given her the card and whether she would be able to find a matching basket.

As Destiny finished reading all of her cards, she was filled with gratitude for the thought and love that each person had put into selecting a special gift just for her.

you the cliff notes 2023 sucked for me like I wasn't a big fan of 2023 mainly because of taxes because I made like $21,000 on eBay and stupid me didn't prepare as much as I should have prepared uh for for uh taxes and I ended up owing a lot of money um and that put put me in just a rough spot throughout 2023 good you're good um not you buddy it's my turn and it was just a very stressful year you know very stressful year between paying back the government's saving up from my next car paying off credit card debt living in my house you know mortgage and all that stuff it was a very expensive year you know that's the best way to put it it was an extremely stressful year for me but I pushed myself so hard this year because I just had a feeling 2024 was going to be a much better year for me um and let's just say I overpaid the government big time Big Time in 2023 because my Revenue was much lower my my income because I didn't I didn't focus on eBay nearly as much as I did last year or in 2022 into into 2023 you guys getting tired of this yet I'm almost done I promise anyway long story short let's just say I'm receiving a tax refund in the amount that can actually afford an apple Vision Pro that's how amazing I did in 2023 in regards to my taxes prepairing spending wisely selling wisely I am so thrilled about that now am I buying an apple Vision Pro no that would be incredibly irresponsible I'm in the process of completely wiping out my credit card debt and that should should be wiped out by I say late spring early summer and I'm on track to make that happen guys um most of my money is going to my savings account because I turned in my Tesla Model 3 in December it was going to be June but I extended my lease uh up to six months speaking of Tesla there's a red model y coming its way a beautiful red um so like most of my refund is being put into my savings account towards my next car that's that's that's a smart thing to do um but actually my accountant just just emailed me yeah guys really really good week for me and I officially completed my first ever VHS conversion job shout out to Steph Shores your tapes are in my back SE and I'm dropping them off at the post office right now and I'm potentially picking up more VHS tapes I say that cuz I got this yellow slip in my PO Box last night when I stopped by to drop off an e order and basically this is saying that I have a package that's too large to fit inside my PO box so I have to pick it up and I'm assuming that's from you Ben I think it was Ben who was sending me like 20 tapes now that's a big project big big project um and I have a Mac Mini arriving tomorrow which will help with that project so cool clean Mion s you okay oh my accountant did did send that to me my my local tax form that's that's the only way I owe money I owe like $265 local tax which is expected that's that's not a surprise at all there's so many tax laws and regulations and changes from year to year um but if I can give anyone advice if you're in my shoes and you're self-employed hire a tax professional please it is the best not the best money you'll ever spend but it's some of the best money you will spend yearly because to have a tax professional prepare your taxes for you is a life changer and and and I'm not being dramatic it is an absolute lifechanger because I was looking over my tax forms and my my CPA put together so many numbers for me numbers I wouldn't even think of including if I did my own taxes uh for example I didn't use my health insurance at all in 2023 so I got my premium tax credits uh towards my refund which was huge and she helps me with writeoffs and she helps me with claiming part of my house my mileage uh my homeowners insurance like there are so many factors that play a role in doing your taxes so take my advice hire a tax professional if you're self-employed uh because you could honestly be missing out on literally thousands of dollars every year um I'm just so so thankful for my CPA and my estimated quarterly payments are so incredibly low for 2024 when compared to previous years but I'm still going to pay as much as I paid last year because I'm counting on getting another overpayment this time next year especially with all the website business I'll be doing this year VHS conversions obviously all of that stuff is taxable this year um and I have to keep that in mind but man guys let me tell you business is good I am in an incredibly good mood between taxes and getting Steph's tapes done and possibly picking up more tapes and streaming tonight on kick David Franco seeing my niece Charlotte this weekend seeing family for Easter and life is good life is good I'm feeling good um and also I'm almost paying off my credit card debt I have like a couple thousand more to go or something like that which isn't insane honestly I just want to be credit card debt free you know I just want to have a clear mindset when it comes to that stuff uh anyway I'm going to go see what's in my box waiting for me and I will let you guys know let's make it a good weekend I love you guys by the way uh but I'm not really going to be vlogging too much today and tomorrow because the primary focus this weekend is obviously Easter and Charlotte's coming over and Steve's parents are coming over and obviously Christen and Steve are coming over um so in other words it's going to be a good weekend it's going to be a very good family focused Sunday so vlogging is going to be a little light today and tomorrow but Sunday expect a ton of footage let's make it a good weekend Good Vibes Good Vibes God it's so nice to be happy because last year let's just say I wasn't myself okay never mind that package is from Destiny Destiny I assumed that wasn't from you because my mom said that you already sent a package to my parents house or maybe my mom was mistaken I'm not sure but either way Destiny that's a big box thank you very much not necessary but thank you thank you thank you um and I will open that later today when I get home I'm going to go to the post office real quick I me the post office Goodwill real quick then probably get a quick lunch at Sheets go watch better Cal finalize some tax forms because I have to do my local taxes um and yeah I don't want to dwell on this too much guys but I am Beyond excited that everything worked out this year and I'm telling you that was the plan that was the plan throughout 2023 I was pushing myself so hard because I wanted to overpay and I'm so glad I did I'm so proud of myself for that yeah I was stressed I was sad I I I had many days where I just felt like giving up not like giving up like that but giving up in terms of like like am I am I good enough for this and turns out I was so very nice guys I'm just a very easily stressed kind of guy always have been always will be but in a way I'm kind of proud of that because let's just say this there's a lot of lazy people out there people who don't push themselves people who just sit around all day waiting for these opportunities to come and if if if there's something in life I want I just go after it I I I work after it or I work for it is this person is this safe to go Jesus like move up a little bit Jesus Christmas anyway that is all I didn't even check my PO Box I I I should have actually check the box I just had to pick that up in a separate location that's okay I'll probably stop there tonight on the way home and uh yeah all right that's it I'm going to listen to my podcast very very quickly uh seems to have managed this extremely well Camp campus computer labs like my why am I out today it is crazy out there it's Friday and it's Easter weekend which means people are traveling and off of work and all that stuff but yeah guys it is crazy out there um so I don't think I'm going to find anything at Goodwill today I found a few things this week in the pagon only Vlog an Amazon Basics computer bag not worth a lot of money Heroes season 1 brand new in the plastic and planet Earth on Blu-ray I think it was Blu-ray I don't know um also brand new in the plastic so uh let's see will I find anything today that's actually worth buying maybe hey if anything I'm just out to be out and plus I'm out for lunch honestly that's that's the real reason also I think I need toothpaste I am to the point where I am squeezing the life out of my tube of toothpastes we've all been there we just keep squeezing it and squeezing it's like David just go to Target and spend $2 on toothpaste um but I think we're going out tonight the Little Caesars which I haven't had in a while so I'm actually I'm actually kind of excited to get that again um and I think there's like a CVS or something over there so I'll probably go there just just for toothpaste am I really talking about toothpaste in the weekend Vlog I swear my life's not that boring all right let's go let's make it a good Goodwill visit the person's enjoying their day window down music up you got to love it it's beautiful out too I do not have my Goodwill B today cuz I just realized I left it in my basement also I woke up with a weird chest pain it's not like my heart or lung or anything it's like up here near my neck and I tend to sleep in weird positions so I think maybe I slept with like my hand under my chest it's like a it's like a muscle pain I I don't know why I'm telling you this all right let's go God it's nice out all right looking at media this caught my eye I don't see Wii U games often but unfortunately Skylanders superchargers is not worth a lot but fun fact for you if it says not for resale that doesn't mean anything it is within your rights to resell that and Fallen New Vegas Ultimate Edition for Xbox One and 360 hm I'm going to have to search this one all right so brand new it's going for like 35 to 40 which is pretty cool but pre-owned surprisingly it's going for like 15 so I'll buy it as long as the uh disc looks good so let's find out or discs sorry there's two discs disc number one wow looks excellent which means the second disc is probably fine yes I'm doing this with with one hand because I did not bring my mount in now it's perfect as if it was never played very cool easy flip right there yeah it's $5 it'll sell for 15 it's not a lot of profit but profit is profit look at that we fit yeah it's in there I just want to make sure it's not like Mario or anything dealer no deal I should have really brought my chest Mount I think that's it for games hey at least I saw some games because gaming this week was very very minimal what's that live 360 NBA 2K9 for Xbox one sports game most of them are worth BL meaning nothing all right let's go check out the carts by the way the only way I'm buying that is if the uh line is not insane up front and if it is insane then I will hide that and get it on Monday is that weird yes but it works and there you go today's purchase Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition for Xbox One and Xbox 360 a whopping one item it's better than zero also I think I'm going to go to Target today like this old lady is down right staring at me what's that brick you're holding Sunny does that record pictures granny yes it does yes it does and honestly it would blow your mind if you put it in your hand now that GoPro is a brand I'm proud of if anything I think theyve gone extremely downhill in recent years but that's another Rand for another day anyway yes mom's birthday is coming up so I'm going to go get her a gift I'm going to go get her a gift I don't know what I'm getting her honestly um maybe something as simple as a gift card which I hate saying out loud cuz I'm not a big gift card Giver I love I love receiving gift cards but I don't know what else my mom needs like she has so much crafting stuff maybe I'll get her a crafting gift card I don't know I'll figure it out I mean if anything I could always go on Amazon tonight and find something more personalized and it would it would definitely be here by Monday all right let's go baby let's go let's go let's go I bought one item and after I round up it cost me $6 it just sell for like 15 or mom for her birthday and honestly that's the that's that's the right thing to do I don't like giving gift cards for birthdays unless I absolutely have to meaning like I don't know what to get but I think I found something that my mom would love so I might order that today actually I have to order it today so yeah I think I'm going to order that today and if I say today one more time guys I got that when people see you do it they will want to come back and see you do it again and they will want to bring others and show them how well you do what you do Walt Disney very very simple quote in terms of the wording but it makes sense it's it's the truth too if you do something people like they're they're going to keep coming back not to sound full of myself but I'm proud of my Vlogs I'm up my gratitude family oh entire to Franco family to sum up my gratitude it's like different lines for you all in just a card is nearly impossible oh thank you Destiny thank you for sharing your unconditional love with us all I am a firm believer in that we are what we give to this world and you all are an absolute I'm sorry an outstanding example of the good that is in the cynical and rather glum world thank you for everything ever from infinity and beyond um I cannot wait for our paths to finally come together and onwards love you all dearly Destiny I will say though the world is a lot better than people make it out to be because there's always going to be negative stuff going on in the world and guys I think about this all the time yes the world may seem messed up right now but the world was messed up 10 years ago 20 years ago 30 years ago 40 years ago 50 years ago there's always going to be something bad and negative to focus on in this world and if you continue to focus on the negativity that that's a horrible way to look at life um in my opinion it's it's a it's a waste of Life there is so much Beauty and so much happiness in this world that you need to focus on that there are billions of people in this world billions with the be meaning there's a much much much greater chance of positivity always outweighing negativity and I can't say it enough stop watching the media stop watching the news like there's so much negativity out there and I proudly ignore the news of course if something drastic and dramatic happens like you know the bridg in uh B more rest in peace to those who were lost obviously I'm going to find out about that naturally but life does go on and you need to focus on the positive and Destiny I'm not calling you out on that obviously I know you focus on the positive uh but I'm just saying this as a uh reminder for those who just seen the world is a messed up place it's not it's a mindset see listen to Doc he's singing he loves life okay so excited all right this is purely for my VHS conversion side business um but still I'm excited I'm excited and I'm going to and I'm going to walk the specs as I open the box if I can remember the specs everything's on my phone I think fine let me get my phone all right um let me get the specs out oh and I made a sale interesting let me see let me see let me see give me one second guys I did not prepare this okay Mac Mini late 2014 um model number a1347 2.6 G Intel dual core i5 with 8 GB of RAM and 500 GB SSD the SSD for me was the main selling point because I do not want a hard drive uh because if you do have a hard drive that's just another factor that can fail and yes ssds do fail but not nearly as often as hard drives do because they're not spinning and whatever okay let's open her up and by the way I paid I think 1118 shipped which isn't bad it's not bad uh if you guys are interested in getting getting your own Mac Mini and maybe if it's like your first Mac you just want to it's just me looking at these tapes and even then I don't really watch minute by minute you know meaning there's a lot of privacy involved and number three you can trust me guys I I'm a I'm a hard worker I love being productive um and I like to put my time and effort into something that I truly care about and let me tell you like the turnaround process of my first customer uh shout out to Steph Shores Steph I hope you're impressed with the overall results I've already emailed her the Google Drive Link and I sent back her tapes along with those two USB flash drives all within a week of I hope you've had a great week I did yesterday I received some amazing news I already rambled about it for a while in the pigon only Vlog which is just under two hours long by the way I spoil my patrons for just $5 a month guys right below it is the best way of supporting me um and I just appreciate it thank you so much anyway I'll give you the cliff notes 2023 sucked for me like I wasn't a big fan of 2023 mainly because of taxes because I made like $21,000 on eBay and stupid me didn't prepare as much as I should have prepared uh for for uh taxes and I ended up owing a lot of money um and that put put me in just a rough spot throughout 2023 good you're good um not you buddy it's my turn and it was just a very stressful year you know very stressful year between paying back the government's saving up from my next car paying off credit card debt living in my house you know mortgage and all that stuff it was a very expensive year you know that's the best way to put it it was an extremely stressful year for me but I pushed myself so hard this year because I just had a feeling 2024 was going to be a much better year for me um and let's just say I overpaid the government big time Big Time in 2023 because my Revenue was much lower my my income because I didn't I didn't focus on eBay nearly as much as I did last year or in 2022 into into 2023 you guys getting tired of this yet I'm almost done I promise anyway long story short let's just say I'm receiving a tax refund in the amount that can actually afford an apple Vision Pro that's how amazing I did in 2023 in regards to my taxes prepairing spending wisely selling wisely I am so thrilled about that now am I buying an apple Vision Pro no that would be incredibly irresponsible I'm in the process of completely wiping out my credit card debt and that should should be wiped out by I say late spring early summer and I'm on track to make that happen guys um most of my money is going to my savings account because I turned in my Tesla Model 3 in December it was going to be June but I extended my lease uh up to six months speaking of Tesla there's a red model y coming its way a beautiful red um so like most of my refund is being put into my savings account towards my next car that's that's that's a smart thing to do um but actually my accountant just just emailed me yeah guys really really good week for me and I officially completed my first ever VHS conversion job shout out to Steph Shores your tapes are in my back SE and I'm dropping them off at the post office right now and I'm potentially picking up more VHS tapes I say that cuz I got this yellow slip in my PO Box last night when I stopped by to drop off an e order and basically this is saying that I have a package that's too large to fit inside my PO box so I have to pick it up and I'm assuming that's from you Ben I think it was Ben who was sending me like 20 tapes now that's a big project big big project um and I have a Mac Mini arriving tomorrow which will help with that project so cool clean Mion s you okay oh my accountant did did send that to me my my local tax form that's that's the only way I owe money I owe like $265 local tax which is expected that's that's not a surprise at all there's so many tax laws and regulations and changes from year to year um but if I can give anyone advice if you're in my shoes and you're self-employed hire a tax professional please it is the best not the best money you'll ever spend but it's some of the best money you will spend yearly because to have a tax professional prepare your taxes for you is a life changer and and and I'm not being dramatic it is an absolute lifechanger because I was looking over my tax forms and my my CPA put together so many numbers for me numbers I wouldn't even think of including if I did my own taxes uh for example I didn't use my health insurance at all in 2023 so I got my premium tax credits uh towards my refund which was huge and she helps me with writeoffs and she helps me with claiming part of my house my mileage uh my homeowners insurance like there are so many factors that play a role in doing your taxes so take my advice hire a tax professional if you're self-employed uh because you could honestly be missing out on literally thousands of dollars every year um I'm just so so thankful for my CPA and my estimated quarterly payments are so incredibly low for 2024 when compared to previous years but I'm still going to pay as much as I paid last year because I'm counting on getting another overpayment this time next year especially with all the website business I'll be doing this year VHS conversions obviously all of that stuff is taxable this year um and I have to keep that in mind but man guys let me tell you business is good I am in an incredibly good mood between taxes and getting Steph's tapes done and possibly picking up more tapes and streaming tonight on kick David Franco seeing my niece Charlotte this weekend seeing family for Easter and life is good life is good I'm feeling good um and also I'm almost paying off my credit card debt I have like a couple thousand more to go or something like that which isn't insane honestly I just want to be credit card debt free you know I just want to have a clear mindset when it comes to that stuff uh anyway I'm going to go see what's in my box waiting for me and I will let you guys know let's make it a good weekend I love you guys by the way uh but I'm not really going to be vlogging too much today and tomorrow because the primary focus this weekend is obviously Easter and Charlotte's coming over and Steve's parents are coming over and obviously Christen and Steve are coming over um so in other words it's going to be a good weekend it's going to be a very good family focused Sunday so vlogging is going to be a little light today and tomorrow but Sunday expect a ton of footage let's make it a good weekend Good Vibes Good Vibes God it's so nice to be happy because last year let's just say I wasn't myself okay never mind that package is from Destiny Destiny I assumed that wasn't from you because my mom said that you already sent a package to my have to do my local taxes um and yeah I don't want to dwell on this too much guys but I am Beyond excited that everything worked out this year and I'm telling you that was the plan that was the plan throughout 2023 I was pushing myself so hard because I wanted to overpay and I'm so glad I did I'm so proud of myself for that yeah I was stressed I was sad I I I had many days where I just felt like giving up not like giving up like that but giving up in terms of like like am I am I good enough for this and turns out I was so very nice guys I'm just a very easily stressed kind of guy always have been always will be but in a way I'm kind of proud of that because let's just say this there's a lot of lazy people out there people who don't push themselves people who just sit around all day waiting for these opportunities to come and if if if there's something in life I want I just go after it I I I work after it or I work for it is this person is this safe to go Jesus like move up a little bit Jesus Christmas anyway that is all I didn't even check my PO Box I I I should have actually check the box I just had to pick that up in a separate location that's okay I'll probably stop I out today it is crazy out there it's Friday and it's Easter weekend which means people are traveling and off of work and all that stuff but yeah guys it is crazy out there um so I don't think I'm going to find anything at Goodwill today I found a few things this week in the pagon only Vlog an Amazon Basics computer bag not worth a lot of money Heroes season 1 brand new in the plastic and planet Earth on Blu-ray I think it was Blu-ray I don't know um also brand new in the plastic so uh let's see will I find anything today that's actually worth buying maybe hey if anything I'm just out to be out and plus I'm out for lunch honestly that's that's the real reason also I think I need toothpaste I am to the point where I am squeezing the life out of my tube of toothpastes we've all been there we just keep squeezing it and squeezing it's like David just go to Target and spend $2 on toothpaste um but I think we're going out tonight the Little Caesars which I haven't had in a while so I'm actually I'm actually kind of excited to get that again um and I think there's like a CVS or something over there so I'll probably go there just just for toothpaste am I really talking about it's going for like 35 to 40 which is pretty cool but pre-owned surprisingly it's going for like 15 so I'll buy it as long as the uh disc looks good so let's find out or discs sorry there's two discs disc number one wow looks excellent which means the second disc is probably fine yes I'm doing this with with one hand because I did not bring my mount in now it's perfect as if it was never played there's a much much much greater chance of positivity always outweighing negativity and I can't say it enough stop watching the media stop watching the news like there's so much negativity out there and I proudly ignore the news of course if something drastic and dramatic happens like you know the bridg in uh B more rest in peace to those who were lost obviously I'm going to find out about that but still I'm excited I'm excited and I'm going to and I'm going to walk the specs as I open the box if I can remember the specs everything's on my phone I think fine let me get my phone all right um let me get the specs out oh and I made a sale interesting let me see let me see let me see give me one second guys I did not prepare this okay Mac Mini late 2014 um model number a1347 2.6 G Intel dual core i5 with 8 GB of RAM and 500 GB SSD the SSD for me was the main selling point because I do not want a hard drive uh because if you do have a hard drive that's just another factor that can fail and yes ssds do fail but not nearly as often as hard drives do because they're not spinning and whatever okay let's open her up and by the way I paid I think 1118 shipped which isn't bad it's not bad uh if you guys are interested in getting getting your own Mac Mini and maybe if it's like your first Mac you just want to see what the OS is about definitely look into eBay um you can get some mac minis for as low as like 60 bucks seriously guys that is nothing that is a really really good price that was interesting all right wow very interesting Packaging look at that he wrapped this thing honestly it looks like I bought a bunch of cocaine I didn't I swear power cable which is neatly tie wrapped very nice seller I'm impressed besides the insane amount of tape that's the invoice very cool I like that and now let's cut her out guys let's give her some air she needs to breathe I'm coming baby I'm coming oh and apparently this guy kept really really good care of this Mac Mini uh because judging from the pictures I got to say it looks absolutely perfect maybe but it was really clean I know that wow wow dude holy crap besides the scuffs on the bottom which you really can't avoid I mean even then it's extremely minimal guys look at this this looks like it came straight from Apple that is cool we got plenty of IO on the back power light indicator on the front nice clean Apple logo look at that guys wow I love when I get an Apple product from someone who truly takes care of their technology because I will never understand like how how people scratch their phones so much or Dent their displays it it blows my mind like these these people throw around this beautiful technology as if it's a toy um but yo respect to the seller shout out to Sean you're never going to see this video tomorrow I'm excited and speaking of my VHS business I meant to give you a shout out yesterday Ben Ben emailed me an update saying hey David I just shipped my tapes to your PO Box just now coming out of Chicago through USBS I just wanted to give you a heads up thanks bud Ben Ben thank you I appreciate your business and guys I can't say it enough if you have VHS tapes trust me over a large corporation because one I undercharge meaning my current rate right now is $8 per tape which is actually pretty low number two it's just me looking at these tapes and even then I don't really watch minute by minute you know meaning there's a lot of privacy involved and number three you can trust me guys I I'm a I'm a hard worker I love being productive um and I like to put my time and effort into something that I truly care about and let me tell you like the turnaround process of my first customer uh shout out to Steph Shores Steph I hope you're impressed with the overall results I've already emailed her the Google Drive Link and I sent back her tapes along with those two USB flash drives all within a week of receiving those tapes and guys the more tapes I do the faster I'm going
