**Using Videoblocks: A Resource for YouTubers and Content Creators**

As a YouTuber or content creator, having access to high-quality stock footage, templates, and graphics can make all the difference in creating professional-looking videos. Videoblocks is a fantastic resource that offers a wide range of materials that can be used for personal or commercial projects. In this article, we'll explore how to use Videoblocks, its pricing plans, and some tips on how to get the most out of it.

**Accidental Hard Drive Wipe**

Recently, I had an unfortunate experience with my external hard drive. I was working on organizing my thumbnail templates, banner templates, and stock footage from various sites, including video blocks and video blocks' own cloudfront servers. In the process, I accidentally wiped out my external hard drive, losing all my files in the process. This experience taught me the importance of regularly backing up my data, especially when working with external storage devices.

**Downloading Content from Videoblocks**

After wiping out my external hard drive, I decided to redo my file structure and download everything I could back from Videoblocks. I was able to download a ton of content, including thumbnails templates, banner templates, stock footage, video blocks, and more. The good news is that Videoblocks allows unlimited downloads as long as you're subscribed.

**Pricing Plans**

Videoblocks offers different pricing plans, which are worth exploring if you're interested in using their resources. If you sign up for a 7-Day trial, you get to try out their premium content without committing to anything. If you cancel before the trial period ends, you won't pay anything at all. On the other hand, signing up for a year can cost $99, which is an excellent bargain considering what you get access to.

**Premium Accounts**

Videoblocks also offers Premium Accounts, which start at $200 per year. These accounts come with additional features, such as Dropbox integration, which allows you to sync your downloaded files directly to your Dropbox account. This feature alone can save you a lot of time and effort when working on projects that require multiple collaborators.

**Organizing Content**

One of the best features of Videoblocks is its ability to organize content into folders and project templates. You can create different project folders, add sub-members with their own logins, and even set up organization systems for your clips. This makes it easy to find specific files or categories when working on a video.

**4K Content**

Another benefit of using Videoblocks is access to high-quality 4K content. Whether you're looking for backgrounds, explosions, gunshots, or other visual effects, Videoblocks has got you covered. Some popular graphics and templates from Freedom are also available in Videoblocks, making it a great resource for YouTubers and content creators.

**Tips and Tricks**

If you're interested in using Videoblocks, here are some tips to keep in mind:

* Always back up your data regularly, especially when working with external storage devices.

* Take advantage of the 7-Day trial to try out premium content without committing to anything.

* Consider signing up for a year rather than paying month-to-month. It's worth it in the long run.

* Use Videoblocks' organization features to keep your files and projects organized.

* Don't be afraid to experiment with different templates, graphics, and visual effects to find what works best for your content.

**Conclusion**

Videoblocks is an excellent resource for YouTubers and content creators. With its wide range of stock footage, templates, and graphics, it can help you create professional-looking videos without breaking the bank. By understanding Videoblocks' pricing plans, features, and organization options, you can make the most out of this incredible resource. Whether you're just starting out or looking to upgrade your content creation game, Videoblocks is definitely worth checking out.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys Adam rill Vox here and today I want to show you a way to get some Advanced video effects footage project files etc for your videos for example you can get a Studio background to use with your green screen for a studio video like they do in the impulse show here on freedom thank you very much I appreciate you and I appreciate our audience today I wanted to talk to you about this this is the Turtle Beach PX22 or you could get some stock footage or Alpha Channel video overlays that have explosions and Fire and Flames that overlay on top of your video you can get all sorts of stuff and it's all from this video or from this website not from this video although you're watching this video to get it called video blocks this is actually my preferred place to get stock footage and things like that and what's really cool is like okay so the the main purpose of the website seems to mainly focus on the stock footage and the backgrounds and the virtual set stuff like I showed you so let's say we go into nature cuz that's what most people get stock footage of you have beaches and sunsets and your walkthroughs of forests and waves and all that stuff that you can Implement in your videos and I'm actually going to use a lot of this um stock footage and some of the alpha overlays here so if we go to effects and lower thirds some of the like fire and explosions and glass breaking I'm actually planning on getting into some stop motion animation short films over the summer and these are going to be insanely useful now this seems to be the main focus for the video is or for the website is all of these you know stock footage and video effects but what's really cool is if is if you go over here to the after effects tab they actually have full like intro templates and things like that that if you were to go to a website like video hiive let me pull that up real quick that's where most people get their intro templates and I believe that's where Freedom gets some of them but let's say we pick and then we'll pick a here's a YouTube subscribe button five pack $16 for this one animation set now granted it's kind of cool but you're paying per set no matter what you get from here with video blocks you get it all with their unlimited subscription so let's look at intro let's just search for intro just in general they have all these different intros and all you got to do is mouse over them and it's going to show you a preview so this one's going to show your title and you know movie style intros and you can use them for your YouTube videos and you can modify them and they actually give you the after effects project files to set them up for yourself and they have hundreds and hundreds and pages and then if we go over here they have title slides they have even just normal slideshows that you can use for like presentations they have all sorts of stuff and then if you actually go back into the footage you have lower thirds as well which are really cool and professional looking and you can Implement those in your videos and I actually use that in my OBS tutorial on Monday of this week and so I was really excited to start using the alpha stuff in some stop stop motion footage that I use later on in the in the summer when I'm going to start doing that but then I realized I could also take also take advantage of the virtual sets for doing green screen videos and things like that and there's so much and I you probably haven't seen it a lot recently but I actually have implemented quite a lot of various stock video sets and intro templates and things like that into my videos and so I prefer getting them from video blocks they do have a huge like the these are all royalty free clips so you're free to monetize your videos if you get them from this site you got stock footage film effects All That Jazz and they're really high quality and actually if we go back to the main page and go to the just general explore option yeah let me just explore all content they actually have some here you all I believe there was someone yeah on the first page here they even have some see that little box where it says 4K it show the hot box indicates what's popular the 4K box indicates content that they actually have available in 4k so if you're making 4K videos you can get stock video and templates and stuff for that here as well obviously you could upscale the 1080p footage that most of this is however they do have some 4K content as well and they're always expanding their Library there's all they're always adding more and you don't really get charged extra for them adding more and the the reason the one of the big reasons that I really like recommending this as something for YouTubers is it works really well for independent contractors you don't need a network sponsorship to go with this you can sign up for yourself and then they actually give you a PDF license agreement when you click this button they'll ask for for your information and they'll give you a PDF license agreement which will allow you to you know you you always have that on record saying that you're licensed use these clips pretty much for life and that way if YouTube or anyone else gives you a Content ID claim for your video for some reason you always have your butt covered with that which is very useful if you're a solo YouTuber and this keeps you from needing a network to provide you your access to websites like this they do have accounts divided up into standard and Premium Accounts standard accounts you can download everything on the website you can literally download everything on the website like if I pull up my video blocks folder here I've been downloading at school because it's faster I've downloaded 90 gigabytes I didn't mean to and they're probably not happy with me doing that within like a couple days from from their cloudfront servers but I had an external hard drive with my thumbnail templates my um Banner templates and then all my stock footage from a couple different sites including video blocks and I accidentally wiped that hard drive so I'm trying to redo my file structure and just download everything I can back from them so I can organize it again and so I've been downloading a ton but yeah you can download unlimited as long as you stay subscribed and then and you can access everything and then you can monetize or you you can use really and monetize of course everything you download from them while you're subscribed you can monetize and use it as long as you have the files but you can no longer go and download when you're not subscribed so if you want to just buy it for a month and download everything you can and then be done you could but it's honestly better like if we open up an incognito window here go to videoblocks.com and look at the pricing scales here it's actually better to subscribe for a year see for a month it'd be 79 a month which is kind of pricey to be honest I mean this is still a really good deal compared to like the true film making professional sites you'd get this from but the real bargain is in the $99 for a year you you pay that once and for the entire year you can download whatever you want all year and then you can use it for life pretty much and it's actually a really good bargain above those premium like film making where filmmakers usually get their content from you do get a 7-Day trial if you sign up so I do recommend signing up and getting the 7-Day trial and if you cancel before the seven days are over you actually don't pay anything at all and you still get some access to some content so definitely check that out the premium contents if we go back here or Premium Accounts it is 200 a year but you get everything included here so all the normal stuff but then you also get Dropbox integration which after having downloaded as much as I have in the past couple days it's really convenient it would be really convenient to sync it all to your Dropbox instead of having to download through the web browser over and over and over you can add sub members so if you have a team of you know content creators you can add them all in to have their own logins and download their own clips and you can organize them into folders and things like that if I pull this back up and go to Project folders you can create different project folders of Clips so you know what you're using For What and so if you set up sub members with uh the premium account you can add them to set up their own folders and you get a lot more 4K content so I just wanted to show this off cuz this is what I use for things like that and that's also where places like Freedom get their you know background and that things like that the regular Graphics were of course that I want to be fair the regular graphics for the show and the actual modification of the background are all done by acromat for Freedom so I'm not taking his credit away but those 3D sets that most people use and things here and freedom has used in the past all come from sites like video blocks and it's just it's really really convenient and you can get explosions and gun shots and really cool backgrounds for your videos like if you just want a background to put Clips on it's lagging cuz it's coming off an external hard drive right now um but you can get so much and it's pretty freaking neat to be honest like if I go on my abstract folder you can get TV static oh yeah I used this background in um last Friday's geek Bites video my profile of Scarlet Witch this is the background that he used when I had her overlaid that too so but yeah lots of cool stuff highly recommend it go check it out this is just a way to get it I will maybe do some tutorials on how to get other things like such as audio files and things like that that you can use in your videos as well I just wanted to show you how to get stock video and lower thirds and project like the after effects templates are where just probably your best bet as a YouTuber is and it's definitely worth it so go check it out let me know if you have any questions about how to use it the site is pretty easy to use and pretty self-explanatory overall but if you do have any question questions I'll gladly try to help you out and otherwise guys thank you so much for watching I'll catch you in a future tutorial let me know if you have any other tutorial ideas you'd like to see in the comment section down below bye-byehey guys Adam rill Vox here and today I want to show you a way to get some Advanced video
