**My History with Buffy**

I'm so excited to start this journey again, and I have to say, it's been a long time since I've watched Buffy. My history with Buffy is quite interesting, actually. I started watching the show when I was around 10 or 11 years old. My cousin introduced me to it, and my friend from middle school also got me into it. I just fell in deep love for the show like if there was a book about Buffy, I owned it. I have to admit, I've lost all of my Buffy books over time because I went through a phase where I thought they were "uncool" and nobody liked them.

Looking back on that time, it's crazy how passionate I was about Buffy. I read every single one of the Buffy books, including the ones set in the Buffy world like "Tales of Two Slayers" and "The Lost Watchers Series". I had a whole drawer full of Buffy books at one point, and I even had a script book and Watcher's guides. I loved Buffy with all my heart and soul, and it was definitely my first ever fandom love.

**A Love that Endures**

Even though I haven't watched the show in a good while – I'd say around 5 years or so – I'm beyond excited to watch this show again. My love for Buffy is still strong, and I'm not sure if that's going to change with this rewatch. In fact, I think it might intensify my feelings for certain characters, like Angel (more on that later).

When it comes to favorite seasons, I have a few that stand out to me. Hands down, those are seasons 3 and 5. There's just something about those seasons that resonates with me, and I love them dearly. I'm not sure if this rewatch is going to change my feelings on these seasons, but I am excited to see how it will play out.

**Ships and Characters**

I have to admit, my feelings for certain characters – like Buffy and Angel – might be a bit strong. I know there are some fans out there who love Spike just as much, and that's totally cool. But for me, it's always been Buffy and Angel all the way. I don't think this rewatch is going to change my mind on that, but I'm excited to see how my feelings might evolve.

I'm so excited to have a platform to talk about Buffy with all of you! If you've never watched the show before, this is a great opportunity to get started. time for me to do a rewatch and I thought why not like instead of just watching by myself ask how much of my friends and asked you guys to join along with me as we watch it all together so it's gonna be a fun time so our plan right now is to watch one season of Buffy a month and the slay along is gonna officially start March March we're gonna start with season one so basically we watch the season a month and you can watch it however you want to if you're a Binger and want to watch a whole season in a week go for it if you're kind of a person that likes to watch an episode like every other day or you know just take your time with it watch the whole season just spread it across one month way it's one season per month I'll be using the hashtag slay along we're also thinking about making a Twitter page so I will put that right here if we do have one with updates and things like that but either way we would definitely be using the hashtag slay along to talk all about the episodes and things like that at the end of every single month we are going to be hosting a live show it's gonna be on one of our channels to have a live show about it and talk about the season as a whole for that entire month on that live show so rotate it between all host channels of who's live show it's gonna be on that month so it just will rotate channel to channel to channel if that makes any sense so like I said this is a totally do it at your own pace watch along if you want to bend great if you don't want to binge it that's fine - it's just one season per month so like I said we're gonna start off with March as season 1 and in September we'll be finishing up the last season the seventh and final season so that's how we're gonna structure it I wanted it to be just a very like you're like I said do it at your own pace however you want to do it just make it one season per month then it'd be a whole bunch of hosts we're gonna use the hashtag slay along hopefully we can have a Twitter page where we can update you with you know updates just talk about that since the general giving you information about our live shows and things like that so I am so excited it's been a long time like I started reading all the Buffy books like when they broke books that were like set in the Buffy Worlds like there was a tale of two Slayers there was like a whole lost watcher series I read all those I had all the Watchers guides oh my gosh I love those I had a script book I had I had every single Buffy book there was at one point in my life like I had a whole drawer full of them I loved Buffy with don't know but either way buffy is my first it's my og love it's my first ever fandom love everything I have I think I could think - Buffy so I am beyond excited to watch this show thing is well I love this show as much as I did when I was younger I don't know that's a very good thing because sometimes I watch episodes here and there and I'm like because the first couple seasons or some episode sprinkled throughout the whole show are kind of corny you know that's the beauty of Buffy I love the humor of it I love the action of it the romance Buffy and Angel yes I am a Buffy and Angel shipper and always will be I know there's so many Buffy spike people out there not me I'm Buffy and Angel through and through I don't think this rewatch is gonna change that whatsoever but intensified my love for Angel that is for sure favorite seasons my favorite seasons hands down at least for me for what I remember and I don't think this will change either it seasons three and seasons five those are
