**My Gaming Journey: How War Thunder Helped Me Get Through 2018**

As much as I try to get excited about new games and releases, there's one game that never fails to put a smile on my face - War Thunder. It's just gorgeous, with its evil, gross, yet awesomeness that just lets me move on to the next thing. Well, at least this next thing is gonna be really different for everybody, and it's a game called War Thunder.

I did do a Let's Play on it at one point, and while it didn't get much views, I'm being honest with you - my views don't get much. It's when it comes to Let's Plays period, I haven't figured out the live streaming thingy for the socks. Thanks for understanding.

So, the next game War Thunder, you're in tanks, you're in planes now, you're in battleships - it's just crazy! It's a lot of fun, it's clean, and it's something to go to. That's exactly what it was for me - it was a game that I went to every time I was feeling kind of play or whatever I didn't want to get into something too intense.

I jumped in a tank and told you if you haven't tried this game if you like the World of Tanks idea, give this a try. Because it is actually really good - the game that got me through 2018 more than anything. And I hate to say it, but it's a game I hated and when I say hated, I wanted to take my Xbox one and smash it! I wanted to crack a controller in half!

I wanted to eat it, I didn't want to eat the neighbor's dog - I just really wanted to get rid of this game. But then I realized it was cross-platform, so I tried it on the computer. That's the obvious thing to do because I suck at a damn gamepad when it comes to any type of shooter.

I try it out, and now I'm playing with my friends, which is where Fortnite is probably the biggest game for 2018 for me. Guys, that's what got me through 2018 - comment below, let me know what got you guys through 2018. Did games help you get through 2018? They did for me.

It was a place to vent when I was mad at my doom, or just wanted to hang out with friends, or play off my kids - you see where these games went! This weird collab of games got me through 2018, it was a hard 2018 and I'm happy to do whatever it takes.

**My Gaming Setup**

I'm still trying to figure out this setup I have, and I need your patience. I have a lot of ideas and plans moving forward, but until I get them unpacked or know where they are, I can't get it done. So, I'm still working on making my 2019 the best possible year - this is the year of the game hunter.

I had a voice I should put that voice on YouTube and all my friends like man you should be on YouTube so I did it and this is completely out of my league this is not something that I've ever done before I've never been I've been a social person I've been very good at talking to people but I've never been in front of a camera and I gotta tell you it was weird but I'm getting used to it and I'm getting to like him and then a car accident happens and it really puts a side shift on my whole entire I'm gonna build this YouTube thing and I'm gonna try and do it fast why cuz I'm Canadian date well it doesn't work that way things come to you when they come to you I've learned that don't take the negatives with your positives it's more positive I got the odd negative here and there but I only get a couple I'm pretty impressed with that I don't get a lot of likes but I get a lot more likes than you dislikes and so I had trouble with the whole idea of five games five games of going through because I didn't get much time to play any games what you guys seen of me showing you a video for this or a video for that that's about the extent of what I because well things happened about a house I moved my game room is upside down I'm trying to build the nicest game room that I can before I even put it on video for you guys so for now you're dealing with my green screen and I'll do my best to do what I can to entertain you guys and please comment below let me know what do you guys want me to do what do you want to see from the last game hunter I'll do it if it's in my budget and I can afford to do it or maybe I already have the stuff I do have a lot of games just ask not afraid in fact I would embrace the fact that you guys have had me do something something I know that you as a viewer are asking me to do so guys with the the ruckus and the craziness of this year I wanna get into it because I think I should be doing my anniversary video soon and and I'll go through you know the life of what happened and and so on and where we're going but now the five games that I could say that I went back to or revisited that got me through 2018 would be Sonic mania sonic mania blew my mind the whole idea of it the whole idea Sega coming back out and and just like it was like oh my god they listened eight they listened to the people and and built a game that was the game that we all loved and enjoyed where Sega or Sonic really was and it's back and then the media Plus did and oh guys great game I don't think anybody could stand here and tell me it isn't it really is down on the hype of the Sega trail now i know ii basically gave them licensing agreements and so on but it was still one of the most amazing things for me and that was the wonderboy the Dragons tribe seriously they remade it and unfortunately did not give me a physical copy for the Xbox one like seriously okay that is my beef with 2018 sorry guys but I got physical on ps4 and I got physical on switch so on a switch but I have the game but seriously no physical for the Xbox one that was disappointing I still bought the digital for Xbox once again to open my other two so I could play it and that's cool I do have a physical I guess and he did really cool with the artwork which is really close and it was awesome but I mean look at this game it was so beautifully done the hand drawings I watched so many videos about this just this animation the beauty of it I watched metal Jesus had those people who made the game on his show yeah I'm a little jealous metal Jesus they even gave you the friggin special edition but I'll say it was my dark time I need it I need a new name I needed to destroy I needed to just rip things apart I needed some violence in my life and oh maybe I didn't need any violence in my life but I needed something in my life that was totally different from these games I need something that brought me back to old school new school and what did that oh my god it was the new doom I mean doom man look at how beautiful you're just you know this is a game that you could go back and play the old one sure and you could say it's still just as much and whatever but it is what it is and
