The Apple Car: A Game-Changer in the Automotive Industry?
As we wait with bated breath for the launch of Apple's highly anticipated car, it's clear that this project is going to be a game-changer in the automotive industry. With its innovative approach and emphasis on simplicity, Apple has set the bar high for its competitors. In order to make this car a success, Apple needs to focus on several key areas.
Firstly, when it comes to tech, Apple needs to ensure that they don't skimp on quality. A rear-facing camera with at least 720p resolution is a must-have feature, especially for parking and maneuvering in tight spaces. Furthermore, the car should be innovative and stand out from the rest. As we've seen with Tesla's Model S, which was built on a skateboard-style base, this can make all the difference in terms of performance and range.
Another crucial aspect is sales. Apple has one of the best customer experiences when it comes to purchasing their products, whether it's in-store or online. However, the way Tesla sells its cars is completely different from any other car manufacturer out there. With small boutique-style shops and only a few cars on display, Apple should take a cue from Tesla and simplify the sales process. This means no big dealerships with hundreds of cars to walk through, just test drive one if you like it and sit down with the Genius Bar to design your car.
In terms of pricing, Apple's car is unlikely to be an entry-level priced vehicle. With that in mind, the company needs to focus on delivering a premium experience that justifies the high price tag. This means attention to detail, style, and making sure everything works seamlessly. As we've seen with Tesla's Model S, which has consistently delivered on its promises of range and performance, Apple should strive for the same level of excellence.
Of course, there are also concerns about quality control and software issues. With recent lapses in quality and some software problems, Apple needs to get this right and ensure that their car meets the high standards we've come to expect from them. By focusing on battery life estimates, range anxiety, and overall performance, Apple can build trust with its customers.
One of the most exciting aspects of the Apple car is its potential for fun and excitement behind the wheel. As I recently had the chance to experience firsthand, Tesla's Model S is a blast to drive, with plenty of room for passengers and luggage. With Apple potentially beating out Porsche in terms of acceleration, this car has all the ingredients for an unforgettable driving experience.
In conclusion, making the Apple car a success will require attention to detail, innovation, and a focus on delivering a premium experience. By simplifying the sales process, ensuring quality control, and meeting customer expectations, Apple can build trust with its customers and establish itself as a leader in the automotive industry. With its emphasis on style, performance, and simplicity, this car has the potential to be one of the most exciting vehicles on the road – but only if Apple gets it right.

obviously they're going to be compared to the electric car company of the moment Tesla and with Tesla selling over fifty thousand model has saloons in 2015 I'm taking a look at four lessons up with Lanford Tesla so let's get started first up on my list is for Apple to use all of their technology know-how bought it to keep it simple now although Apple is known for keeping their products simple and easy to use in recent years they've been less successful if you look at products like the Apple watch which uses this exploded menu type system purely for aesthetics it's not the most practical had they used a 3x3 grid or something most similar to iOS or heck even the iPod Nano I had a touchscreen if you look at Tesla it has a 17 inch touchscreen in the middle of the dash whilst other car manufacturers are using 8 inch screens with love attack Tesla almost has a fully fledged tablet in its cars so if Apple goes down the route of just having car play in there it's not going to be a standout feature but they need to make sure they still keep it simple Tesla's touch screen can control almost every function of the car it's also allows you to use Google Maps browse the internet with it's free for four years 3g uncontrollable etre things such as your recent trips driving styles and even higher and lower your car suspension all while still being easy to use pair all of that with Apple music theory and over-the-air updates and you're on to a winner plus I'm guessing the Apple car or I car whatever you'd like to call it is going to be damn expensive so they need to make sure they don't skimp on tech for example if the guns put a rear facing camera in for parking make it a decent 720p or above camera secondly the need to make sure they're innovative some of the most recent rumors surrounding the Apple car revealed that they were involved the BMW sees the i3 as a base and to build on top of that with just nothing new car manufacturers do this all the time the hipster favorite Fiat 500 is based on a Fiat Panda and the list goes on but one of the reasons Tesla standouts against his car using rivals is because they did something different the Tesla Model S is built on the skateboard style base which is where the batteries are all placed it's based on something JM T's all the way back in 2002 but never back to the pond so Tesla murmured the idea and approved upon it by building in the ability to replace the power supply which is one of the main problems with current electric cars also with having a skateboard style base and batteries being placed underneath the cabin floor it gives the car a lower center of gravity making the car more stable and reducing body roll I was Apple to take a few chances and add some new features that no one else is doing but I don't know what exactly maybe wireless charging next on my list is sales and I'm not so worried about this one Apple has one of the best experiences when it comes to purchasing their products whether that's in store or online it's always super simple but the way that Tesla sell their cars is completely different to any other car manufacturer out there no big dealer ships just small boutique style shops with only one or two cars on display again the key here is simplicity no big car lots with hundreds of cars to walk through just test drive one if you decide you like it sit down with the genius to design your car and choose your options start our financing and allow Apple to deliver your car to your drive again this isn't going to be an entry-level priced car so it's all in the details and having the style of purchasing makes the experience as painless as possible if you're asking for top dollar deliver on it then the second-hand cars maybe Apple could host some sort the trailin scheme to either refurbish to Approved Used and sell on or to recycle them and use a giant version of Liam last time I let sister over deliver and I mean that in every sense Apple has recently had a few lapses in quality control and its fair share of software issues in last few years so they need to make sure they get this right and even as I mentioned earlier they need to make sure they don't scrimp on tech where they don't need to for example there's no reason why the iPhone SES front-facing camera wasn't upgraded from one point similar pixels to the iPhone successes 5 megapixel camera Apple's fairly accurate and true when it comes to its battery life estimates so I'd want to see the same in the car most manufacturers with the odd exception claim a range of 100 miles but that's not always the case unless you're constantly driving downhill they've got the right knee off and there's a bit of a breeze behind you Tesla claims the Model S will do 320 miles for the 86 kilowatt hour battery and guess what it pretty much camp so over deliver on the mileage as that's what holds a lot of people back when it comes to the electric vehicles and range anxiety Tesla's just work which is what you could use to say about max it's still true for the most part but this is what we need with the car everyone's wants to get in the car and travel from A to B without any issues also it's one of the most exciting Road cars you can buy when I took one out for a spin last year I was worried that it was going to be weird accelerating and have no soul but it was the most fun I've ever had behind the wheel of a car the Tesla Model S is faster than a Porsche Carrera S but has enough room to fit five adults two kids and my shopping what more could anyone wants overall make a premium make it work make it unique but make it simple if they do all of that and with some way and how I could afford one I'll be the first in line well I fit for this video but what do you think what do you think Apple
