8 BRILLIANT ORGANIZATION HACKS FOR CHALLENGING ITEMS!

Organizing Your Sentimental Items: A Beautiful Coffee Table Book

Have you ever found yourself surrounded by sentimental items that you want to keep, but don't know how to store them? Perhaps you have a collection of family heirlooms, photos, or mementos that you want to cherish and display for years to come. One option to consider is sending your items to a professional photographer who will take stunning pictures of them and create a beautiful coffee table book. This service can be quite expensive, starting at $100 and going up to $500, depending on the level of quality you're looking for.

For example, if you want to send in all of your sentimental items at once, you'll need to pay more than if you were to do it piece by piece. However, the end result will be well worth the investment, as a beautifully crafted coffee table book can become a treasured family heirloom that is passed down for generations.

Another option to consider is organizing miscellaneous hard-to-organize items such as parts, pieces, cords, and board games. One product that has proven to be extremely useful in this regard is clear storage bags. These bags come in different sizes, are affordable, durable, and transparent, making them the perfect tool for keeping your belongings organized.

In particular, these bags are great for storing random parts and pieces of gadgets or equipment. By labeling each bag and storing them all together, you can keep track of what's inside without having to dig through a mess of tangled cords and loose parts. For example, if you're a filmmaker like the author, these bags can be used to store spare cords and other small items that are essential for your work.

These bags are also great for storing board games, which can take up a lot of space when not in use. By storing each game individually in its own bag, you can keep them organized and easily accessible, freeing up space in your home or closet. This can be especially useful if you're someone who loves board games like the author, who recently found themselves running out of storage space for their collection.

In addition to these storage bags, another tool that has proven to be incredibly useful is an accordion-style folder. This type of folder is perfect for storing manuals and warranties, which are often bulky or hard to handle. By keeping them in one place, you can easily access the information you need when you need it, without having to search through a cluttered collection of papers.

Finally, no discussion of organizing would be complete without mentioning digital files and paperwork. This is an area that the author hopes to tackle in future videos, as they believe it's essential for staying organized and productive in today's fast-paced world. By learning how to manage your digital files and paperwork effectively, you can save time and reduce stress, making room for more important things in your life.

In conclusion, organizing sentimental items and miscellaneous hard-to-organize items is easier than ever, thanks to a range of affordable and effective tools like clear storage bags, accordion-style folders, and digital management systems. By implementing these strategies into your daily routine, you can create a more organized and stress-free life that allows you to focus on the things that matter most.

over and i look in it and it's all this sentimental stuff that i have not seen or thought about in like 20 years and i'm like what am i supposed to do with this big box of stuff and that got me thinking i should do a video on this because i know a lot of people out there struggle with sorting through and organizing sentimental items in particular amongst other things so i made a little short list of the items that i feel are the hardest to declutter and organize and i came up with some strategies so we're going to tackle them together and answer pressing questions like what am i supposed to do with this picture of my mom with fabulous 80s hair the volume the sheer amount of hairspray it took to get this i mean it needs to be remembered all of that said let's start by tackling our sentimental items whether that be children's artwork old photographs high school mementos old love letters step one you have to pare it down you have to purge some of it as you're going through it really focus on the ones that bring you joy that you're going to want to look back on in 20 years from now or have your kids look back on one strategy here is to keep a certain number of items for each phase of your life hello awkward teenage years so keep a few things from middle school a few things from high school or for your children's artwork keep a few items from each grade wait a minute my lucky sock i used to literally wear this thing every single day in high school oh that smell brings back memories i can't get rid of this thing this gives some kind of structure and organization to your sentimental item another thing you could do here is share or pass along some of the sentimental items that might have meaning to someone else so for example some of carter's artwork i could give to his grandparents so now that you have your smaller pair down pile what i would do is take the most special irreplaceable keepsakes and put those in a special box this is my little box where i keep my most important most valuable items for all the other miscellaneous sentimental items the easiest solution is to get one of these large clear tubs depending on how much time you have you can separate based on year or phase of life or you can just put it all in the big bin and label it and set it aside and store it other thing you can do is get a portfolio style organizer this portfolio i found is great for children's art because it's a larger size and has these clear dividers so it's going to fit more in here just keeps it a little bit more compact more subgrouped and organized they
