Acer Nitro 50: Sleeper pre-built gaming PC

**A Test Fit: Modifying the Acer Nitro 50**

The process began with a test fit to see how all the components would fit together inside the case. To begin, the front plastic was put on and the top, giving the case a more nitro-like appearance rather than just a plain gray box. "It looks pretty good," the creator said, noting that only two small plastic bits had to be cut down to get everything to fit properly.

The next step was to install the power supply. The creator had to use a non-modular power supply due to its size being too large for the case's modular power supplies. Fortunately, the power supply they chose was exactly the same size as the one that comes with the PC, making it a perfect fit. However, the only real challenge was finding an adapter for the short power button cable, which kept getting in the way.

The entire modding process has been surprisingly easy, unlike most of the creator's other experience with building computers. "Normally when I try and fit stuff into a thing where it doesn't belong, it's basically three days of my own personal hell that ends with me just going crazy," they joked. Instead, this build has been a breeze, with the most frustrating part being finding an adapter for the short power button cable.

With all the components installed, the creator was pleased to find that the case still had very little airflow, which is a major concern for the front radiator and overall temperatures of the system. To test this, they ran half an hour of Ida 64 on the CPU and Fur Mark on the GPU, resulting in some concerning temperatures.

The CPU performed admirably, with the Corsair H100 keeping everything cool and under control. However, the graphics card was struggling, reaching its highest temperatures ever recorded on that particular card. The creator noted that this was particularly problematic given the case's motherboard VRM design, which was getting Louisiana bio level hot and causing the system to throttle.

The gaming performance difference between the original Acer Nitro 50 and the upgraded "super mega version" is a stark contrast, with the GTX 1650 being outperformed by the RTX 2060 in an unfair test. The creator joked that comparing such vastly different components was like racing a Prius against an Audi RS6 – it's just not going to end well for the Prius.

The journey with the Acer Nitro 50 has come to an end, and the creator is sad to see it go. Once modified, they realized they wouldn't be able to reassemble it in its original form, so they made the difficult decision to disassemble it entirely. The case itself is a bit of a letdown, with the Acer Nitro 50 resembling Starburst from Community – plain and unremarkable.

The creator expressed their gratitude for watching the build process and encourages viewers to check out their stream later that day. They also invite viewers to subscribe to their channel and thank them for watching until the next video.
