How to Take Night Mode Pictures on Any iPhone: A Step-by-Step Guide
Hey guys, I got myself here and welcome back to the channel. In today's video, we're going to dive into how to take night mode pictures on any iPhone, even if it's not a new iPhone 11 with the built-in feature. Night mode is a game-changer when it comes to taking bright and beautiful photos in low-light conditions.
First, let me show you a quick demo of how the application works. Earlier today, around 7:00 a.m., I went outside and took a few pictures using the Application Moonlight, along with the camera application built into iOS. As you can see here, the difference is literally night and day. The mid to low lighting was at 7 a.m., and the pictures turned out pretty nice. Now, also went into the garage, which is a little darker low light environment, and you can see that with the stock iOS application, you can barely see the car, but with the Moonlight app, you can definitely see the details in the car itself.
The Application Moonlight is free and available for download via the link provided in the description. There are other applications that offer similar features and more advanced features, but this one is free. This application works on any older iPhone from iPhone SE to iPhone 6S, 7, 8, and iPhone X. The way it works is quite simple, with a menu at the top that includes settings, feedback, accounts, a timer, and a front and rear-facing camera button.
The way I use the Application Moonlight is to hold the phone steady for about two to three seconds on the subject that you want to take the picture. Go ahead and press on the shutter, then hold it for another two seconds or so. Once you're done, you'll get a slider here, which I would bring up to like 70 to 75 percent for the best results. Once you're done with that, you can go ahead and save the image, and you'll get amazing results. I have to say, I'm very, very blown away with the results as you can see here the pictures at 7:00 a.m. in the morning with low to mid light, you can see here that it looks amazing on this iPhone 8 which is the device that I use for demo.
The device has performed very, very well with this really cool application. This was a heavily requested video, and I hope you guys enjoy this really cool app. Thank you for watching, and I'll see you guys on the next one!
