Organizing Your Things with Categories from Cydia

How to do it first of all it goes right here um if you have some in there and you want to get rid of it you can just hit edit. Of course, and do that and delete but I'm not going to do that I'm just going to add to show you guys enter any category title that you want just say um I don't know categories I don't know hold on to a no it's e all right and then just hit add oh it already exists oops all right well whatever I'll just do asdfgf fgme all right and let load the icons. You can pick from many different icons and uh oops and just wait for it to load it has to has to load up quite a bit of the default icons that you have in here and I know you used to be able to get icons like add-on icons but you can't get those now I wish you could all right and now you'll see a thing of icons you can choose any of them that you want there's a lot of neat ones that you can choose from all kinds of different designs. I'll just choose this pacman one for no random for some random reason and then you'll see it right there asdfg click on it and then go up here to add and it'll load up your all your things you have on your home screen are installed and you just simply and then let me choose something I don't really care about um just simply just click something um I'll just do simcity just click it and it's in there just hit done and then you'll see it's in here hit done and then you'll see you have one thing in there. You can also delete it by just hitting edit or just go to it and then hit that and then delete and it'll put it back on your home screen it won't delete it off your ipod and then um you can restart springboard from here or change log which is um nothing really like it just shows all the stuff um about it and stuff but you can choose help if you're having any problems you're going to have to restart springboard when you go back to the home screen anyway so you watch because that's organizing your things.

You'll just do a soft it'll do the setting language reboot just a soft one if it'll ever go I have a lot of things on here so it takes a little bit. That's a pretty cool theme I got to right here it's the uh see it shows the date right up there nice background it's just like a real clean background it's uh it's called it's it's the second one of leah lea leah ii it's pretty cool all right I don't know what it's doing but it's going really slow uh all right it should be going right about now you should just restart springboard from there all right guys sorry about that um now we're back to uh asdfg pacman um but after you have it in there um I suggest you hit restart springboard right there because when it goes back to your home screen it will freeze it freezes forever and then you're forced to just turn it off because you're tired of waiting. So I just suggest you hit restart springboard right from there and it'll do the it'll reboot it and then you'll have your new category right here on the home screen and the thing that you put in there will be in it once you click on it.

I'll show you that in a little bit right now and then uh there it is asdfg and then you click on it and it'll say loading and then there it is click on it and you're off to playing so um that's categories from cydia um if you don't know how to get it you gotta have cydia just open cydia go to search type in k i mean c a t and then you'll probably see it categories and then it's just a nice way to organize all your all your icons on your home screen if you're if you have too many pages or whatever um you could just put it all in one icon so it saves space so that's categories.

into one icon like this up here i put free apps media utilities things like that what it's called it's called categories right there you get it from cydia yes it has to be jailbroken of course but you
