**New Formats and Feedback**
The idea behind our new formats is to give you guys more variety and something different to look forward to. We've introduced photo threes, which come out on Wednesday, featuring three interesting things about photography. This is a fun grouping that we think you'll enjoy, and it's also a great way for us to showcase some of the lesser-known aspects of photography. Additionally, every Friday, we'll be hosting a Q&A session where you can ask me anything you want about photography, including questions about the show itself.
We're always looking for feedback on our new formats, so if you have any thoughts or suggestions, please leave them in the comments below. We want to know what's working and what's not, and we'll do our best to make adjustments based on your input. Specifically, we're curious to hear about the photo threes and whether they're meeting your expectations. Are there more images that you'd like to see? Should we focus on a particular aspect of photography?
**Future Content**
Looking ahead to future content, I have to say that one of the most popular types of posts has been the photo lit series, where we delve into the history and literature surrounding specific photographers or styles. These posts are always a lot of fun for me to research and write, and they seem to resonate with you guys as well. So, if there's something specific you'd like to see more of in this vein, please let us know! We're considering covering some lesser-known photographers, including Ramanthapur Gonsalves, a French photographer who worked closely with Magnum.
We also have a few surprises up our sleeve for the summer months. While I'm not ready to announce everything just yet, I can promise that we'll be introducing some new and exciting content. We're going to be pushing the boundaries of what we do here on the show, and I think you guys are going to love it.
**The Future of The Art of Photography**
As always, I want to express my gratitude to each and every one of you for your support. Your engagement and enthusiasm are what make this show worth doing, and I'm honored to have such a wonderful community behind me. If there's anything specific you'd like to see or any feedback you have on our current format, please don't hesitate to let us know.
I've been keeping busy myself lately, with a trip to Houston and Galveston just last weekend. It's been a whirlwind few days, but I'm always up for a challenge. Speaking of which, we'll be doing a big TLR shootout in the near future, where we'll be testing out some vintage cameras on real-world subjects. This should give us a chance to see how these cameras hold up in different situations and compare them to more modern cameras.
**Upcoming Episode**
Finally, don't forget that our next regularly scheduled episode of The Art of Photography will be airing the day after tomorrow. In the meantime, I encourage you to check out our Pinterest board, where we've been posting some behind-the-scenes content from recent shoots. Specifically, make sure to follow us on Pinterest at Pinterest.com/TedForbes and scroll all the way to the bottom for a full board dedicated to The Art of Photography.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey everybody this is Ted Forbes from the art of photography and I wanted to do a vlog episode today so this is very casual we're just going to throw up the camera and go and I want to talk a little bit about the show some of the things we've been working on and some of the things that you can expect to see in the coming weeks which kind of I'm pretty excited about and hope you guys are too and if you follow the show you've noticed in the last couple weeks we have added a lot of new stuff and so if you only check in once in a while you may be noticing like wow there's a lot of videos here and really what we're doing is we're producing three of these a week now and it's a little bit breakneck but I've had fun doing it and we're going to continue to do that and basically the schedule is is that we have the main show that comes out once a week that we've always done that's a little more in depth the show's run a little bit longer and that's kind of really you know the main crux of what we do one here but I've added two new shows in here too and the idea is that they're a little bit shorter in length we have photo threes that comes out on Wednesday and it's just three things that are interesting about photography and we just it's a fun grouping and then on Fridays we do a Q&A session so if you guys have questions about anything you want to ask me or ask about the show that's the place to do that on Fridays and we you know leave your question in the comments we can kind of have a rolling dialogue and I'm kind of curious to see if kind of the new formats when the new shows are working for you guys I'd like to get some feedback on that and so leave a comment below if you're if you have something to say in that regard as far as the main show goes in the last month you guys probably especially those of you who follow the show regularly now you can kind of see a pattern in my madness here and what I typically will do is I kind of run for a month or two with a certain thing and we could do photo bios sometimes it's technique stuff sometimes we've done camera reviews before and we've talked a lot about these antique cameras these twin-lens reflex cameras and the biggest feedback that I had on that little series there which are found kind of interesting and fairly obvious I should have realized is that a lot of you wanted to see more images that I've taken on these cameras fair enough and I think in thinking about this I ran some images in the show and I realized it wasn't very extensive but what I'd like to do is a big tlr shootout so what I'd like to do is take some of these cameras and into a variety of situations that you know are relatively unscientific and more real-world and let's see how they compare in terms of sharpness in terms of depth of field and some of the more characteristics that you're going to see in various lenses and berries class I thought that might be kind of fun now I have had a crazy two weeks I was in Houston last weekend on to Galveston back to Houston back to work this week I am involved with this architectural new city summit that's coming actually this is the global city some it's a long story and is very unrelated this channel but it'll needless to say I've had a full plate so i will get to this it'll probably be maybe another week or two but i want to be able to take some time shoot the same image on three cameras so we can at least look at them and kind of compare and see which one may be the winner or or just how they compare in general so anyway so that is coming up so in the next couple weeks some of the things you can expect to see on the show we you know some engine early return to dovetail and spend time on a specific topic and really trying to explore it and I want to get back into the photo lit stuff a little bit you guys seem to like those a lot and they're a lot of fun to do and basically what doing is picking a photographer and looking into the history photography literature and and you know who specific people were I liked I think some of the success with this is when i pick people that are a little less obviously less mainstream and a wonderful suggestion this week of covering the wonderful French photographer and magnum associate ramanthapur gone and Raymond's work is amazing if you're not familiar with it he's a magnum photographer we look at that on sunday i have a whole bunch of stuff go follow the pinterest board if you want a little preview of what's to come and by the way that is ramon de padang and my pinterest account is Pinterest calm / ted forbes scroll all the way to the bottom and you'll see a full board on it and you can you can check that stuff out so in just a little bit update so what we're going this summer is going to have a lot of new stuff and i can't announce everything just yet because i want to make sure it's solid before i do so and but we are going to have a lot of fun and there's a lot of new stuff and a lot of cool stuff coming our way so anyway once again you guys i want to thank you guys for your support thank you for watching leave a comment please tell me what you think of the new format how the new shows are working for you and you know if there's anything you'd like to see or anything you'd like to see little bit differently let me know and i'll see if i can't get to it and make it part of the show anyway once again guys has been the art of photography my name is Ted Forbes thanks for watching I will see you the day after tomorrow on our regularly scheduled art of photography episode so until then i'll catch you guys next time laterhey everybody this is Ted Forbes from the art of photography and I wanted to do a vlog episode today so this is
