The Roof Scoop Funneling Air into the Rear Engine Speed Tail
As I gazed at the sleek design of the McLaren Speed Tail, my eyes landed on the roof scoop that funnels air into the rear engine speed tail. It's a rare type of carbon that is super lightweight and super smooth, bending with ease as it captures the airflow. "Wow, looks pretty cool," I muttered to myself, thinking that this might be a carbon fiber that's really special - an added option. I don't want to guess, but I'm going to go ahead and try to estimate its price.
"$75,000 $250,000 wow well I mean I would say 100K oh you're going to fuing 25k me dude yeah buddy the true price for the 1K carbon fiber hood scoop on a McLaren Speed Tail is 100K," I said out loud. The crowd murmured in agreement, and we all knew that we were about to get some real information.
Next up was the 22in BMW MV Spoke Jet Black Light Alloy Wheels. This option seemed like a more normal choice, featuring five distinct V spokes. The wheel design was available on the BMW X7 M660i, and it was finished in jet black. "Wheels are always one of those things where it's just like it could be all over the place," I said with a shrug.
"I think I'm going to go low and just say it's like a black package or something and just do like $3,250," I replied when asked about the price. "I'm going to say 8,750." The crowd chuckled at my attempt to estimate the price, but we all knew that this wheel option was available for a fraction of its true value.
Finally, up for auction was the rare Bugatti Divo Carbon Fiber Exterior. This car is already a million dollars, and this finish makes it even rarer - only 40 Bugattis have been made with this carbon fiber exterior. "Oh man, oh man, carbon EX full carbon exterior on an already million-dollar car," I exclaimed.
"Justin, you get to go first baby, oh no, no pressure!" our host announced, before listing the estimated price of $5.4 million for the Bugatti Divo. The crowd gasped at the thought of such a rare and expensive finish being auctioned off.
"It's like, 50,225," I chimed in, but my guess was quickly surpassed by Justin, who said "$1.25 million." I couldn't believe it - that was much lower than my estimate! "You went low, you went lower," our host joked, and we all knew that the true price of this finish would be much higher.
The final tally had Jar in the lead with four points, followed by Justin and Joe tied at three. The true price of the Bugatti Divo Carbon Fiber Exterior was revealed to be a staggering $500,000.
Next up was the HONDA Gyroor Navigation System from 1981. This primitive automated navigation system used inertial navigation based on a gyroscope that measured rotation and movement, and translucent maps were placed in front of a CRT monitor. "This is super cool," I said as I gazed at the retro design.
"I think it's like $2,000," I estimated when asked about the price. But our host revealed that the true price was much higher - a whopping $2,746! The crowd cheered and jeered in equal measure, but we all knew that this system was an iconic piece of automotive history.
As the auction came to a close, Jar and Justin emerged victorious with four points each, followed closely by Joe. "All for the sake of you guys being here," our host said with a smile as the crowd dispersed. "If you like this video, throw a comment down in the comments, and subscribe to the channel - we'll see you guys later, bye-bye!"
