VERTICAL MOUNT & RGB OH MY! _ Build n' Benchmark _ Kaislin Vert GPU mount review

Building a Budget RGB Gaming PC with Chris from Coalition Gaming

Hey everyone, Chris from Coalition Gaming, and we are here with a budget-friendly RGB build. I'd like to take a moment to go over the parts that make this build possible. One of the most crucial components is the motherboard, which is actually one of my previous builds - an i7 3770K. It's been deleted, and I figured it was time to give it new life instead of letting it collect dust.

I had this motherboard with RAM sitting around, and I wanted to put it to use. So, thus this build was born. The idea behind this build was to create a more aesthetically pleasing build, similar to our previous Corsair Crystal 570 X build, but on a budget since those Corsair fans are quite expensive. To achieve that, I opted for alternative components such as the Otech GTX 1066 Gig Amp Edition GPU, which can be found on eBay for around $160. This GPU was originally used for mining and has been verified to run smoothly under volted conditions at 50% fan speed.

I also decided to go with an ADIZ Triple Fan Ring Light RGB Fan Kit, which will add a nice touch of RGB to the build. Two fans are already installed in the case, so I could show you guys what they look like before adding more. I won an EVGA CLC 280 from their weekly live streams, which we'll be reviewing soon, as well as a keyboard that we also won from those streams.

To power this build, I opted for an EVGA 650W G2 Modular Power Supply, which will provide the necessary power to all the components. The case I chose is the Raid Max Zeta Case, which can be found at an affordable price. This case offers a sleek and modern design while also providing ample room for cable management.

One of the standout features of this build is the vertical GPU mount that came with the EVGA 650W G2 Power Supply. This mount costs just $35 and has proven to be incredibly useful in securing my graphics card in place. It's designed to work seamlessly with modern graphics cards, allowing you to install them without any major modifications.

Now, let's take a closer look at some of the other components that make up this build. The ADA ADA XPG Infer X RGB Miles Pad is another great component that adds an extra layer of RGB to the build. It was won from one of our EVGA streams, so be sure to check it out. I also have a Coolermaster RGB Mouse and headset, as well as an Adri Veau Bluetooth 4.0 / Wired Mechanical Blue Keyboard.

For the living room setup that I'll be using this build for, I opted for a compact mechanical Brown keyboard that's perfect for gaming sessions with friends and family. The keycap design is simple yet elegant, making it a great addition to any build.

Finally, let's talk about some of the b-roll footage that we featured in this video. We have some sweet shots of the build, as well as some fun gameplay footage to keep you entertained.

In conclusion, this budget-friendly RGB gaming PC build has proven to be a great option for those looking to create an aesthetically pleasing system without breaking the bank. With its sleek design and compact components, it's perfect for anyone looking to upgrade their gaming experience. Be sure to check out our weekly streams every Thursday at 8 p.m. Pacific as we continue to push the limits of what's possible in the world of PC building.

Benchmarks for this build were impressive, with an i7 1066 Gig running smoothly in modern systems. The ADIZ fans have their own controller and controls, making it easy to customize the lighting effects to your liking. The front fans, such as the Thermal Take Ring Fans, also have their own controller although it's not on a remote, still they look great as well as the ADIZ fans.

The vertical GPU mount worked out perfectly in this case, especially with the graphics card being pushed back slightly due to its design. A little more on the rest of the part, I'd like to mention that this build is perfect for those who want an RGB setup without breaking the bank. The components may not be as expensive as some other builds but still provide a great gaming experience.

The final section of our video features Adri Veau Bluetooth 4.0 / Wired Mechanical Blue Keyboard and Coolermaster RGB headset, which are both great additions to this build. These components add an extra layer of depth to the overall aesthetic of the system, making it perfect for anyone looking to upgrade their gaming setup.

As always, be sure to check out our weekly streams every Thursday at 8 p.m. Pacific as we continue to push the limits of what's possible in the world of PC building. Thanks for watching and we'll see you guys in the next video!

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey everyone Chris with coalition gaming and we are here with a sort of budget RGB build so let me quickly go over the parts something that's really important here is that the motherboard is one of my previous ones it's an i7 3770k it's been deleted we did the deleting video for it actually who want to see that click the link right up here and it's running at 4.6 gigahertz I've had this motherboard with RAM sitting around and I figure I want to put it to use instead of letting it collect us so much so thus this build was born rather the idea to get this done was and I wanted to do a little bit more of a prettier build so if you've seen our Corsair crystal 570 X build that sort of inspired me to do something like this with this one but on a bit of more of a budget because those Corsair fans are super expensive so a bit on the components I got as otech gtx 1066 gig amp edition this is the mini one and this was off of ebay for a hundred and sixty bucks works great it was a mining card but I verified that it was ran under volted and 50% fan speed so if anything it's perfectly fine I also went with an an ADIZ triple fan the ring light RGB fan kit so that's gonna look nice and their two are already in the case this when I left out so I could show you guys I won an EVGA CLC 280 from the EVGA weekly live streams that they do we have a video of a keyboard review of a keyboard that we actually won as well from those streams that'll be linked right up here as well if we want to check that out there's more information on the EVGA extreme is there check make sure to check those out because you can win cool stuff like this I went ahead and swap the fans from that to probably I would say maybe better-looking fans as well come on the EGA one special thanks to our subscriber Ronnie because he sold me these fans 140 millimeter RGB ring style fans are not cheap out there during on any budget ones like in 120ml like these ones and you hooked it up 30 bucks for a three pack two of them are here and you know what I don't know where the other one is at right now but I will get to that also going with a 500 gig hard drive some spare drives I had this is a 128 gig SSD got an LED strip and here that we're gonna be putting in there and then something that was kind of cool is on the motherboard rather on the RAM sticks I mean they're already on the motherboard is we went with these up here our GB RAM heat sinks because I had a couple of I believe 4 4 gig sticks that were bare they didn't have any heat spreaders on them and so I figure it's going to be really cool to just throw some RGB on there I got these little heat sinks that light up to go on there and it is gonna add a little bit more to the wiring mess because the wires that hang off the back of them but I think it'll turn out really nice and then powering all that is an EVGA 650 watt g2 modular power supply and all of that is going to be going inside a raid max zeta case and I picked this case out 40 bucks on new egg goes on sale front mesh it's going to have good airflow and that's one of the reasons I went with it I'm familiar with this case already is it's more or less the same as a raid next Delta or raid max alpha prime both of we have you know we have videos on those so check the description all links will be down there and then finally gonna be making that look prettier with these aja horse I believe sleeved extension cable kit so that's going to make it look nice one with black and grey so it doesn't detract in the RGB too much and well let's get to it so the the front fans apparently the front-panel can't close with in this case with the fans mounted outside of the front so it'd have to mount it inside unfortunately that's really gonna kill the RGB nests of the of the front look shining through the front great kind of sad about that but it is what it is so onwards we keep moving so something that that was actually really interesting I wanted to talk about what this build is that we're gonna be using a vertical GPU adapter and believe this is from a brand called casein or Kaitlyn got it on Amazon it's 35 bucks and it came with this what appears to be high-quality riser cables so the interesting thing about this is unlike like the coolermaster or cable mod vertical GPU adapter because of how it sits in the case you won't have to cut your slats in the back you don't have to modify your case because it actually sits further back so essentially like that just like that and so your graphics card is set up set from the back it is also offset further in so it will breathe easier so when your fans are this way it's not up against the glass and choking but this is how it sits and it does come with some extra pieces to help it stand up but it also comes up comes with this HDMI extensions that you that you can't put in one of the i/o slots there the PCIe slots because you are not going to be able to plug your cables directly through the slots into the graphics card you need a little extensions or just run them through a gap in the side which I may actually make use of right here with this one so interesting little vertical GPU to adapter let's see how it looks this is a little interesting but it seems like this is pulling back a little more than I expected it to but everything seems to line up without any major modification so let's go ahead and drop this in there it's a little flimsy because of how it's on the the PSU shroud but no man I missed it all right so hopefully you guys saw those benchmarks at 1066 gig and in any modern i7 nowadays still does pretty damn good and well that speaks for itself so real quick going over the parts that an ADIZ fans were great they have their own controller and their own controls so that was nice the front fans the thermal take ring fans also have their own controller although it's not on a remote so little less nice but still they look great as well as an ADIZ fans but most importantly out of all of this the vertical GPU mount the $35 mount worked out perfectly in this case especially with this graphics card you will not want something that's too long because it does push in this way a little bit more just make you pushes the card back this way but this one it worked out great because it's a short one and it does come with a HDMI extension that's over here on the backplate a little bit more on the rest of the part here we have an ADA ADA xpg infer X RGB miles pad and that's something else that we won from the EVGA stream so make sure you guys check that out as I previously mentioned and then as well as a believe it's a coolermaster RGB Mouse Coolermaster RGB headset and Adri veau Bluetooth 4.0 / wired a wired us be mechanical blue keyboard oh no man that mechanical Brown is what it is actually nice and compact really nice I'm gonna be using it with the the living room setup that I have just wanted to feature here to complete the ultimate RGB setup alright everybody hopefully you liked the video had some sweet sexy b-roll in there and just as well hopefully they liked all the parts feature everything will be linked in the description below as well as make sure you tune in for our weekly streams every Thursday at 8 p.m. Pacific we'll see you guys in the next video bye\n"
