The author's Excitement for Building and Drivings their Evo 5
A little different wheelbase or the batteries in a different location so they'll have to be a little custom things here and there but for the most part everything should be really simple done for doing in this car and it should be a relatively fun quick build because come mid next week I don't know if you guys saw my post at Instagram we are doing a team tandem comp and the Poconos me Matt Taylor our team's called proximity with a capital C because we drive C's and if close proximity when we go up there and I think when I Drive the car up to Connecticut so I'm trying to get it relatively sorted by mid next week so this isn't gonna be a long-term build and then once it's in Connecticut with the little things here and there but for the most part you guys can expect to see way more driving content just having fun with this car then action walks build.
For stock suspension it does have like rally cooling in the front so I guess I should punch that it feels very pretty good like it's not really that loose there's a little body roll it can use a front and rear strut brace for sure but I'm gonna sit here and act like I know a ton about Evo's or ton about DSM or ton about the 4613 because to be honest I don't it's a new platform to me and that's kind of what makes it so fun and exciting I'll burn on the other hand freakin loves these things you just don't like to specialize in vivo stuff so as you can imagine he's pretty stoked up about this.
He's been very excited right break dust I mean that wasn't lame didn't know about like that's what you buddy these brakes stop better than I thought you have to press on as I lose the camera I can do that again those phone car needs gauges anita a frh I need to post gage have you oil pressure gauges if we're gonna track it I don't want to have any issues especially running a stock car see you I want to get one of those innovate gauges.
I have on my last 13 weirdo cut boost if it starts leading out or over boosting that has saved plants are a number of times so that's on the list quite a bit to do in a couple days but at the same time not really that much new tires and these tires are gonna annoy me from driving all the way to Connecticut make this much noise.

Tomorrow I guess I don't really know because I don't know how the weather's gonna play out like plan is I'm supposed to be taking the r32 to the drag strip tonight sucks that my videos are so behind because I don't know what's going on but uh I'm trying to run tens with our 32 like like under 11 seconds quarter-mile I don't do much a drag strip experience that has the power I just don't know what's gonna hook enough so that might be what you can expect tomorrow.

right guys we're in the Evo 5 we're gonna go for our first drive should I be scared should I hide am i a sly guy as I fly by in my evo 5 all right five-speed that's a good thing I heard who do we have AC I think we have AC we got AC so I heard that the five-speed evo trans are much better than the 6 PT boat ran so it's a good thing then we have the final speed although that is only trends that came in these cars that I think was what the the nines they came with a 16 maybe they know it right hand drive I'm very excited about this car it's it's a nice quality car its client so we're pretty much driving this car exactly how we got it with the addition of a gloss valve which you guys will probably see in tomorrow's video I think other than that it's pretty much exactly how we bought it the car is currently amount of flash stock you I don't know how much I trust the tune I don't know who did it so we're probably going to reach in the car just a play city because you don't know I'm excited yeah quiet the DC trolley car seats are nice nice and tucked in in here the car still is on stock suspension but I do have a set of custom spec BCD ours on order that I think are actually going to be in today because I use custom shocks in the Evo v setup isn't something they keep in stock it was like a two to three week wait but they actually were able to make me a kit out of parts that they had laying around there so I'm very excited to be able to go pick up my core livers today and I can put them on and we got some cool other than 272 cams downpipe front mount exhaust the car is stock and as far as I understand he's running a stock boost which surprisingly I didn't know the four G's run like 20 pounds stock so that's pretty cool I guess we gonna crank them up to 30 but I don't want to do that until we get a proper tune and make sure everything's okay I don't think it'll matter much but I'm gonna turn off AC just for you know the sake of all the horse powers this guy are so cool I'm so hyped on this car all right the gears are nice and short this definitely a different sense it doesn't feel like it's pushing you kind of physically pulling you I get I know that makes sense but for someone that only drives the same type of car over and over and all my cars are decently high horsepower rear-wheel drive cars this is it's definitely a different feeling just from my bond I know the car I thought that kind of has like a little bit of a weird oversteer sensation my butt dyno would estimate this car me let's say they do a little bit under to have fun but I would have complained for an extra like it's got some balls over there this belt what are we I can tell you right now you guys probably think I'm gonna go crazy with it build engine and make seven hundred horsepower no this car is going to be a track car what a fun Connecticut car this last track car and I want to keep it simple I know again this is what I always say before things get pretty complex what I think I want to do I'm gonna put the evo 9 turbo on it which is a little bit bigger try to get somewhere on the high 300s to do that I'll probably need a fuel pump so probably put D Sharks 2 W 400 in it and I should be able to crank up the boost get a nice tune on it and just have a nice reliable consistent you know em turbo so everything just fits no fabrication needed both the Evo 9 turbo up there's like a little adapter kit because it is slightly different and just enjoy the car this winter do a couple autocross days maybe a track day I want to do so cross with it - we talked more about that in the future I might do like me more rally setup than a track setup for that but for the most part I just want to have a fun car to enjoy that's relatively simple and if I get bored of sub 400 horsepower region come spring or summer of next year since this car is going to be stationed in Connecticut this is gonna be my Connecticut car so when I go up there we'll be making contact with the Evo maybe I'll fly Alberto up there and we'll do a Garrett turbo make mid 400s on the 85 or something like that still keep it conservative because I don't wanna have lag or anything I just want to always be in boost till seeing us do a few little maintenance mods to it maybe a new clutch get a tune with an Evo 9 turbo and hopefully make somewhere close to 400 wheel and just enjoy it have a relatively stock garlic interesting because I got home please don't be another car that I blow up before I get a chance to enjoy literally I want to get into Indonesia as you can tell Regan trap card I'm going to enjoy this car though I'm gonna drive it I'm gonna drive it hard I think the exhaust is a little bit quiet for me so I might change that out but it's a really nicely aged gear setup so I can't just like go change it was something she trap the tricky part is a lot of 4g parts are like universal so I can put on stuff on this car from me away there's a lot of weird stuff with equal five where I
