and is currently applying for scholarship and needs a pc at home for online placement tests max was acknowledged amongst 300 kids at his school for an honorable kindness award with a plaque on the wall how old is this kid sounds like a good kid 13 year old okay for his actions and behavior when another child was injured at the end of the year he has always deserved more than i have been able to provide for him i only want him to be blessed with enough resources to raise himself to higher heights and into a new atmosphere in life he really deserves it more than anything please let me know if what to do when it came time to replace things and i'm sure with him being an avid gamer he would hand his parts down to the girls it would help keep their bond with him even extra special i hope you this person right here the person with a 13 year old son that uh wants to go to a stem private school and they moved away a couple of years ago and the way he connects with his old friends is through gaming and he would use the pc for both gaming and for school to apply for these scholarships to go to these stem specific schools which we do have a few in washington state i wouldn't have thought i would have chosen someone that just made a profile probably right when i posted the ad with like no history on it no profile picture or anything like that but um yeah right now this is the one response that's sticking out to me that says i will regret not giving the pc to this person so uh we're gonna go with this person and it doesn't mean that anyone else was not deserving of it because when i cut it off there were 51 total responses that were interested in this pc and for all the responses i haven't even looked at um there's got to be at least 20 more that's what these highlighted you can meet max i'm doing seasonal ups runs that runs after 6 pm sometimes but any time after that he just left his grandma's in tacoma which where i grew up but i can get him flexible in the day so she says he's doing delivery runs every day this week even up to christmas eve so i'm seeing if she can do in morning time if that's easier for her just because you know more daylight and safety for all parties involved just in case all right so we have a time date and place set hopefully this works out and hopefully i'm not getting scammed from a brand new account which is something that i'm always super paranoid about uh so there's nothing much else for me to do right now right here anyways so i think i'm just gonna cut forward in time to uh packing up the system and getting ready to head out to meet up today's gonna be a pretty chill stream uh if any of you stick to the end of stream i have a hard cut off at 6 45 because i'm going to meet up with someone for a offer up transaction if i'm running too late please remind me because i don't want to be i hate being late when meeting up with people uh it not only just feels rude but i want to get there so i can set up properly and everything so i just wrapped up the stream that's all done now it's like it's almost seven and i gotta get everything packed up so that i can meet up with uh the person who is receiving the pc hopefully i'm not late i think i still should be good on time should only take 15 minutes to get there but i just wanted to be early if anything and since it's the holiday rush and everything melissa and her little sister hopes are going to come with me but they they need to go to the mall to get some last minute christmas shopping done so i'm going to drop them off or let them do that while i meet up with the person who's receiving the pc okay bye-bye okay all right yup i'll see you guys in a bit like how do i get out of this being you know a few days before christmas it is hectic and i want to choose a location that's not like super far out just because i want not only them to feel safe but i gotta feel safe just in case something you know go sketchy whether it be with them or don't know what's going on okay so um so i'm the content creator on youtube i make pc videos for like pc builds and stuff like that wow so what i did was i put up the ad on offer up and your mom she was telling me more about you so and she was saying that you could use a pc that you could take your placement tests on and just do schoolwork in general you're the winner of this pc based on your mom messaging me so i brought a battery for this now oh wow so yeah so we can actually fire it up and you can take a look at it but yeah so here's the build and now let me get this hooked up real quick i'll let you do the honor this is the on button right here so just press that one oh whoa wow wow this pc should serve you as it is now for a while but later on let's say you get a job or you get some money for christmas or whatever and you want to upgrade it it's perfectly ready to take upgrades so this is something you can just work on what did you think was going on when your mom told you to meet some random person in a parking garage at the mall she just said um that i like won something because i was at my dad's house for christmas and like break and stuff and then i uh she just told me to come over for a day because that was in tacoma yeah okay yeah i just picked him up downtown yeah okay so yeah so this is gonna be your pc i cleaned it up so it's a fresh start um are you familiar with steam uh yeah okay do you have a steam account by chance okay so i didn't it's not installed yet and we can check anyways because there's no internet but yeah uh first thing you want to do is probably install steam and then um do you have any games i've seen i know there's a bunch of free games but i have a computer at my dad's house but it's like really old so i play some games at this house but okay just like really low intensity games do any of your friends play on pc uh yeah what do you think you'll be joining them and playing um i don't know my friend plays a lot of um coloring and okay that's free so that's good and this can run valerie really well yeah um don't worry about it i'm not i was nervous like coming to meet up with you guys actually just because uh doing these kind of meetups i know right it's like i don't know what could go like jessica was like don't get mugged right so jessica's account she made the account i think to respond to my ad so she had no reputation no profile picture so i was like huh usually when i see these i think they're like the scammers so even i was a little bit you know trying to be cautious coming here but it's christmas though yeah people around here i haven't gotten mug doing this yet so that's good hopefully the streak continues uh how about this when you figure out what game you want to play let me know um i'll send your mom my email okay uh i will gift you any game you want on steam okay so just pick whatever game you want to play and then uh yeah just have her thank you yeah yeah for sure so let's get this packed up let me get this back into this i don't know anything about this i had to build a computer and high school and they set it on fire well hopefully now that he has this to play with him hopefully you'll start looking more into it and learning more about it and uh and all that since you're not sure if you have a mouse and keyboard uh i'll give you a mouse and keyboard thank you please uh and then here's a headset as well so you have like a whole kit i'm ready to play ready to go i wanted to make sure yeah i want to make sure when he goes home he's ready he can set this up and play would have liked to at least had a chance to talk to her in person but unfortunately it sounds like she got held up due to work uh but she did make the arrangements necessary to get him to the meet up
