NZXT Phantom P240 Review and Unboxing- First Look!
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: endroppy everybody rather Frank P today we're doing a little unboxing an over look at the newly released NZXT phantom 240 NZXT was kind of somewhere these out to me for review and I love doing a lot of like gaming PC bills and how to build a gaming PC with this case itself so stay tuned in the future for more of these videos but let's get right into the quick unboxing and let's take a look at the case I know this is one of NZXT newer of cases they they release in the past month or so and if you see on their on their website they also have a little contest where you can design your own case which is pretty interesting I recommend when you open this case you open it from the bottom as well and sort of push it out like I'm doing here because it is very tightly secured in this box but I would prefer that over not having it secured because the styrofoam really helps with dirty shipping so good to know they won't be getting damaged and there we show after about 10 minutes of me off-camera trying to maneuver this out it's out alright so got take the styrofoam off very well protected as I mentioned before and this is actually a bit larger than I anticipated well that shouldn't be a problem there's a very nice black and white case protected as well with some more plastic covering take this off and you got that like cellophane finish over here and let's take that off always a satisfying feel and Sam okay close that up BAM look at that alright I'll just switch to a better mic so you guys can hear me better I'll go over a little overview of it then I'll get into the details a little bit later on but for now let's just go over the phantom 240 it has a very very nice glossy white finish that is made of plastic another half the case is steel around the top here on the right side of the case you have your USB 3.0 slots as well as your HD audio jacks and your power button which will give you a nice satisfying tactile touch whenever you turn it on and off on the back here nothing too out of the ordinary that we're not used to seeing very clean and simple you have your rubber grommets right there for your water cooling and a area for the bottom mounted power supply unit going back to the front panel all you have to do is click it on that little arrow there and that will give you access to the three five and a quarter inch base so if say you want to put in a you know a dis tray or DVD burner NZXT hue that's where you're gonna want to put it right there you can hide this greeley with the nice little panel there perfect on the bottom you have four very tough around 1/2 inch feet and that's great for giving your case some extra cooling keeping it off the ground and helps keep out dust they're very tough they're very nice now if you want to access inside of the case I have to do is just take off the four screws on the back well two for the front panel to put back panel and there you go you have access and look how crystal-clear the window is in this case when I first saw it I was blown away because I've seen some cases before with her kind of foggy have some scratches on it but this case with crystal clear very impressed with the window and here are your seven expandable slots but we'll get into that later now again jumps jump back to the front panel give it a quick little look and you go down you'll see one of the newly redesigned NZXT v2 120-millimeter fans they are very quiet one of the quietest they actually sell and to access the five and a quarter inch Bay all you have to do is push in the little black slot and you have access to inside to put in whenever you wish you can see the little fan in the back now let's go to the back side of the tray or the back of the case we'll take off the back panel and inside if you're someone who is very anal about cable management you'll be impressed to know that there is 17 millimeters of space for you to hide your cables and to manage them properly and there's over 20 zip tie points with seven routing holes for you to make your wire management a breeze and like for someone like me who really is anal about that kind of stuff I don't like wires and crowding that's really really good at least you want to take out your one of the bays to give a longer harddrive very simple to do all you have to do is just pinch the little black of things there I'm gonna line up the column and it slides right out like I showed you I'll do it right here so your hard drive goes very very simple and easy to do if you want to slide it right back in and you can see here NZXT has a little box but yes those little things are like little hooks you pinch him in and they slide run out very very easy so see what they included inside I was like huh maybe like another small little fan or something I didn't I wasn't really know what to expect but you open it up and it's what you usually get when you hit stuff with cases you have some zip ties bunch of extra screws of some more stuff and then your Phantom h2 forty instructions on how to assemble stuff take some panels off yes now back the inside like I said before if you remove the one bay area you have room to extend your graphics card area so you have a long graphics card that can actually fit up to a 15 and 3/4 inch long graphics card right in that area without a problem thanks to removing the 1 bay area so while I roll some b-roll here here is to show you guys how nice the cases you can just listen I'm gonna go over some of the specifications that they included on the box and like I said just watch the footage look at how nice of a case this really is I mentioned before all the external bays seven total expansion slots you have the three five and a quarter inch bay and you have six total 3.5 inch bays on the front for the fans you have the capability of including 220 millimeter fans all of the Rizwan included on the top you can put in two 120 millimeter or two 140 millimeter on the rear of the which is already included is another 120 millimeter fan which is all the v2 series that they've just released and on the bottom you can also put in another 120 millimeter fan the case itself is 165 by five thirty by five twenty nine millimeters which if you aren't familiar with is seven point six by twenty point 8 by 20 point eight inches it's made entirely of plastic and steel obviously plastic on the outside steel on the inside it weighs around 8.1 kilograms the motherboard supports obviously ATX micro ATX and mini ITX and the external connectors on the outside which you saw above you have your HD audio your mic and your two USB 3.0 's well guys thank you very much for checking out this video of my initial you know first look and review of the phantom h 240 from NZXT i'm very
