The Joy of Cooking and Exercise: A Day in the Life of Honeyjubu

Hello! I'm Honeyjubu, and I'm excited to share with you my day-to-day routine that combines cooking, exercise, and spending quality time with my beloved dog, Lucy. Today was no exception. After a great workout session at the gym, I decided to prepare a delicious dish that would satisfy my cravings after swimming earlier in the day.

I had prepared a spicy kimchi fried rice and octopus salad with cucumber vinegar, which always hits the spot after a swim. The key to this recipe is boiling the seaweed and octopus only slightly, then stir-frying the green onions before adding the kimchi. I also add a little sugar to balance out the flavors. To make it even more delicious, I add plenty of chives, a soft-boiled egg, and serve it with a side of chilled cucumber slices. My family just loves this dish so much that they ate it all in one day!

As Lucy, my adorable dog, would be running around excitedly, she catches the scent of cucumbers and comes to investigate. She's quite the foodie herself! In hot weather, I like to add water and ice to cool down the dish, making it a refreshing treat after a workout.

After enjoying our lunch together, Lucy and I decided to take a walk around the block. She loves going for walks in the mountains, and she becomes even happier when we're out exploring nature. As for me, I'm always excited to spend quality time with my furry friend and get some fresh air.

Later that afternoon, I needed to clean my newly purchased electric grill. It came with a small abrasive piece that kept coming out, so I had to wash it with baking soda three times before it was completely gone. The result is a deliciously cooked egg dish that bakes without sticking to the bottom of the pan! Cooking on an iron plate makes me feel like a chef, and I love experimenting with different recipes.

These days, I'm loving cooking seafood, meat, and vegetables on my new iron plate grill. It's become a favorite snack for my kids when they come home from school, but don't worry – I only indulge in two pieces myself! Cooking always makes me feel more energized, which is perfect after working out.

Speaking of exercise, Lucy has her own favorite dog chew that she loves to gnaw on. She's quite the athlete herself! My husband really enjoys spicy young radish kimchi made with salt and marinated for about an hour. The combination of flavors is absolutely delicious, and I'm happy to make it for him whenever he asks.

Today, I also decided to try out a new salad recipe that incorporates raw radish vegetables with green onion, chives, red pepper, garlic, 2T red pepper powder, 2T vinegar, 1T sugar, 1T tuna liquid, and 2T crab fish sauce. The result is an incredibly delicious dish that I just can't get enough of! Cooking utensils are essential for any kitchen, and I love using them to prepare meals like this.

As the weather gets hotter, I'm always on the lookout for cool treats. Today, I enjoyed a refreshing iced Americano with my child who comes home from school early. It's become a special bonding moment for us, and we cherish these quiet moments together when it's hot outside.

After spending a week exercising hard and eating delicious food, I felt rejuvenated and ready to take on the world! Well, at least until next week's video is published. Until then, I'll be busy cooking up more recipes and enjoying time with Lucy by my side.
