"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: entech news baby never heard of it nvidia has once again defied all logic and released the geforce gtx 1660 super it joins the four other 60 tier cards in nvidia's lineup the gtx 1660 the 1660 ti the rtx 2060 and the 2060 super coming in at an msrp of 229 us dollars the 1660 super appears to be positioned as a slight upgrade to the vanilla 1660 which retails for around 220 us dollars but it's still quite a bit lower on the louder than the existing 1660 ti at 280 amd actually cut rx 590 prices just before the launch since the new supercard infringes on its territory reviewers so far haven't been incredibly impressed with the card's price to performance but that might be okay because nvidia's real stars of the show this week are new features added to the latest geforce drivers very exciting reshade filters image sharpening low latency tech they're all built-in features now for nvidia gpus with those last two being direct answers to amd's recently added radeon image sharpening and low latency features oh and apparently there's a gtx 1650 super on the way too because if you can't convince people to buy your products just just confuse them i bought this it's its own joke built in samsung held their developer conference keynote yesterday and used the opportunity to tease some upcoming products including a vertically folding phone which that sounds like a flip phone it folds down to be half the phone's size most phones are are one phone size it's a metric unit you know samsung also unveiled the galaxy book book ion and galaxy book flex windows laptops but unlike their galaxy book s sibling which is powered by a qualcomm processor the new laptops are part of intel's project athena running 10th gen core processors they're sleek with qled displays and wireless charging built into their track pads i guess that works if you got a mouse attached but if you want to type something i'm i'm sure samsung has this figured i'll trust those guys hopefully better than they figured out their space selfie balloon which crashed into a michigan horse farm never know what's gonna happen this baby fell out of the sky and landed in our yard it's never boring on the welky farm it was a pr stunt meant to send selfies into space called spaces i made that part up and as william cll on the forum points out by dropping it from space they've outdone linus even in spectacular fashion i said spectacular did you catch that and netflix is still planning on rolling out a test for variable speed playback despite opposition from a chorus of filmmakers the proposed feature would work just like speed options available on many online web players including youtube allowing viewers to watch content at a faster or slower speed judd apatow aaron paul and brad bird and even more than them have called on netflix to stop the rollout of the feature saying it would destroy films which should be viewed as intended by the filmmakers although by that logic i guess netflix should also not be available on smartphones and laptops wait you watch netflix and cook dinner at the same time yeah psychopath now netflix has defended the feature saying it's only one of many that the company is exploring and as davindra hardware and gadget points out most of netflix's content isn't exactly high art damn davindra why you gotta do it dirty like that have you seen roma it's even better at double speed now it's time for the slick pits brought to you by none other than sea sonic leader in efficient power supplies your power supply is the heart of your pc build so why not pick one known for excellent reliability high efficiency and the performance you need for whatever you do with your system there's no good answer for that question so whether it's for a new build a replacement or an upgrade count on season's world-class reputation to power your rig learn more about their full lineup of products at the links below learn more just do it now it's time for more news but quicker microsoft has rolled out game streaming to xbox one beta testers with android phones that's a lot of computers xbox phones okay now this isn't project x cloud beta testers can stream games from their home xbox one setup console to their phones whether they're on their own home wi-fi or someone else's and while this is cool playstation has had this feature for years man xbox sleep wow flame war come at me xbox then okay i'm an xbox guy actually nvidia released the new shield tv and shield tv pro after they got leaked and officially teased like crazy which is weird because they're the least likely things for anyone get hyped about but one of them's a tube did you know what fallout 76 has a bit of a class war on its hands players have taken to attacking other players when it becomes clear that they've purchased bethesda's recently launched fallout first subscription which provides special outfits infinite item storage and private servers the attacks seem to be a protest against bethesda's milking players for more money but at the very least the subscription has caused something interesting to happen in fallout 76 and i i think that's a first oh what a win did you enjoy buying and selling the keys to cs go loot boxes well you can't anymore you can't enjoy it or do it because valve says players have been using the system to clean dirty cash so you'll just have to play your games without potential fraud like a normal person i know go launder your money at the pizza place on commercial drive like everybody else and xiaomi's upcoming me note 10 will be the world's first smartphone with both five cameras and a 108 megapixel sensor pretty innovative whenever there's an and in a world's first thing unfortunately they kind of undid any points they would get by also announcing a smart watch that looks exactly like the new apple watch so close xiaomi you're almost an individual keep trying but i won't keep trying to extend this episode because it's over come back on friday for more tech news and i swear to god you won't want a refund huh happy halloween i forgot it's tomorrow i'm just gonna be the joker like everybody else glory\n"
