Okay. Here goes the $45 epauto torque wrench, going down about 25 feet. - Good smack. Pretty solid thud. - Real solid. See how I hit the diamond plate? - Yeah. You can too. Yeah. I mean there's some scuffing but if you just handed this to me, I wouldn't guess it had just gone thrown off a roof four times. - Our bottom tier $45 torque wrench It has an average of 101.54.1.55%. That's fantastic. Still in spec. Wow. That's my type of tool. Now the ICON on the other hand Kind of a letdown. 21.17%. So way outta spec. So I mean, I think the lesson we can learn from throwing these off the roof is that that's a bad idea - Yeah. Don't do that. But for some reason or another, the Harbor freight dealt with it way worse than the cheapest torque wrench I could find, that goes up to 250 foot pounds.
Right. Now I will say this if you're not abusing your tools like this then the snap-On wins. - Right. It was the most accurate for sure. Right. But it's just such a disappointment for $450. Right. And you top, that it's made in the USA almost killed Henry and that would put me in prison and Henry be dead. And honestly I don't want either of those things. So for me today, it's pretty clear epauto is the winner. epauto takes the cake.

That's gonna showus what the torque Wrenchis actually doingand whether or not thatreflects what we've goton the handle of these wrenches.- Right.- We're gonna start at 50 foot pounds.So that means we set thewrench to 50 foot poundsand the calibrator to 50 foot pounds.Now this is actually a really cool tool.We can set it to thedesired accuracy range- The epauto claims plus or minus 4%.- I think that's prettymuch the standard, yeah.So when we go through thisit'll give us either ayellow or a red light.If it's below or aboveor a green lightif it falls within the plus or minus 4%,$45 cheap boy.- Right?- Let's see how it works atthe low end of the spectrum.50 foot pounds,49.4849.3848.21.That's a lot of green light.Jerry you're doing great.(wrench clicking)That's 10.You did it.Give me them numbers.- We have an average of 49.099,1.8% than our target market- That's really good.- That's really good.Said it's within 4%.That's within 4%.- Yeah.- Let's see how she does at 140 pounds.- We had an average of 94.582.And now we're outside our range.We're at 5.42%.Okay.250 foot pounds of toys.- Oh my God.That's a lot.You're gonna break a sweat today, bud.- I know you ready.Average 257 for 3.02%- Not bad.It did pretty good for $45 range- 45 bucks.That's great.Yeah. That's not great- That's not good at all.A hundred foot pounds.We had an average of 94.774 foot pounds550 average of 249.- Okay, So we got a little closerat the top of the scale,- A little closer so we're at 0.13%.Well, within the plus minus that's 4%but it failed at two outta the three.Let's see if really we'regonna get our money's worth for- 450 bucks.I reckon we better.- Oh, I hope so.OtherwiseSnap-on might come kill us.Freak me up- Right.
