Baller Parts for the SKYLINE!

**Replacing the Steering Bushing on a Nissan Skyline**

I'm actually surprised that like I swear the center Kalu's yeah it's got like grime in it but like nothing is dissolving it which is that kind of annoying me. Oh well, alright I guess we tried it that's not strong yes thank you if you've ever heard of changing this you've probably heard people complain about it because it is that miserable especially when you have a motor in the car.

But, this little bushing right here if we replace it with a metal one it'll give you a much more solid and less mushy steering feel. So, I'm gonna bolt that and swap it now. I've never done this before, so I have absolutely no idea what I was doing but I was figure it out. What I did was like used a screwdriver to open this guy up down here there's like a 12 minute ache completely out because it holds a flat spot and the steering shaft or whatever it's called.

Use a little bit of wd-40 was able to slide that down to get enough clearance to pull out the rubber bushing. There's a lot of little pieces that were like a little bit tricky to take out but now that I got him out I was able to make enough room obviously since engines out of the car box is really easy to get the metal bushing in there Alberta would you say that that's how you would do it? Did I do something differently? No, that's pretty smart. That's exactly how you do it. The easiest way possible, sect. I don't like. I was like a little bit confused at first cuz I'm like man how am I gonna get enough room and I remember from changing racks nine hundred times but I could slide this guy down there and make some room unless it actually slides down it didn't want on the terrific theses that they're supposed to and they don't.

I mean, it barely slid like I had to lube that thing up. I was sitting there for niggling with it. I got it to go but it worked she didn't want but she did yeah nice. Well, I'm gonna put it on let's see if actually works after one that's tearing this one just break in half. I would hope it doesn't break in half and you know she's shiny and gold.

**Lifting and Diagnosing the Fuel System**

Wow parallel Britta you're gonna lift her up and we'll start diagnosing the fuel situation. Can honestly say when we put this lift in the garage I was thinking that we would probably use it for like changing wheels and tires and maybe coilovers. But, now is like absurd the raw cast icky stock looking stuff and then I'm gonna start to polish up this stuff.

Alberto has been working on figuring out how we're gonna route the fuel system and kind of planning out everything that's gonna be going in the trunk. She's already got the hard lines out Alberto anything else other than ordering parts all day Leavitt or not? We're actually at a point with the r32 where we can't really do that much more into where you get parts can mount the engine get fittings and all that stuff so we're kind of at a standstill for the moment in its current state.

I can still polish up a few more things and work on cleaning up the engine harness but because the AC unit stopped working it's like frozen over from that one time when it was clogged. I'm gonna let it thaw out and I'm gonna go run a rather cool errand since tomorrow but I can really be able to do much on the skyline we can start tackling another project if my RV feels half as good as this JC does. I will be so beyond happy.

**Future Plans**

It's obviously not gonna school as fast but should make a lot more power. I just love how smooth six cylinders feel and sound. My SR is just so much more probably then denied missus car look who's home look at her. I know me neither yeah so as you can assume since I brought the SRS 13 home that's what we are gonna be working on tomorrow.

But, we're not just gonna be diagnosing where all my coolant keeps disappearing too we are actually going to put something very cool on the car that will maybe solve the problem but definitely do a lot of rad cool things and I think tomorrow is gonna be a lot of fun. Switching the pace up a little bit and getting back to fixing up that destroyed pile of metal that used to be a nice clean s13.

So, anyway I hope you guys enjoyed the video looking forward to getting more parts in so we can get back to work on the skyline but it should be a lot of fun tomorrow. So, thank you and I will see you tomorrow when you say when you say

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's up guys good morning we are heading to my warehouse because we have some very very special packages there one of which is probably the most exciting part of this r32 skyline build that we've gotten yet so we're gonna pick it up these boxes right here the ones i'm so hype about while I'm here I'm gonna sign some of you guys orders little-known fact in case you didn't know if you order anything from our store the LZ MFG site I'm more than happy to sign anything for free the only thing is sometimes it takes a little bit of extra time because I'm all over the place there's like a little order comments field where you could just write whatever you want sign as long as you're specific it's super easy and just normally takes a little bit longer Mattson between departments right now so it's stuffed in here and it looks like he's got a little room into our house so funny oh is that his 3d printer that's rad box is so big I couldn't even fit it in the Z so I had to unpack all the goodies in it all these boxes you think I work for UPS or some so I did our typical little routine it actually works really well I'll go to Starbucks and get Munich old coffee and then at that time I'll order on Chipotle on app and chill order I'm Panera nap and then just grab both foods because both foods are paid for so then I take the foods back home and then we get to eat the foods together and it's fast and efficient yep that's contents of package number one exciting contents of package number two Alpert helping me geek out over all this package content Nicole don't kill Adam for expression of they can't scratch granite dude it's like diamond it's like diamond it's like a bunch of spaghetti arms or something look at that thing and even more exciting package content alright so this is the full contents of that super exciting box it's very exciting look more excited I don't know if you guys remember me talking about needing a manifold and worrying about that pulling of the whole process because they usually are made to order and take a lot of time I actually got this entire package from someone who reached out to me by the name of Brian Wilde so he gave me an amazing deal on this stuff and what's kind of cool is he actually bought officer Dan's old RV setup and these are the parts that officer Dan had on his RV setup but to give you an idea I got all of this stuff from him for about twenty-two hundred dollars which is a phenomenal deal considering that this turbo manifold actually has a billet collector you guys can kinda see the ridges on there this is like one of the most baller twin-scroll dual wastegate manifolds you can get and I was able to get it obviously without waiting this manifold literally retails for over two grand this intake manifold retails for like 1700 it's gonna need some cleaning up but it's gonna be like this is top of the line stuff on top of that he sent me the downpipe for the set up the wastegate dump tubes are just gonna save a ton of fabrication time the waste gates and a fuel rail so like I cannot thank you enough Brian on top of like saving a lot of money if I went out to buy this stuff new it's gonna save literally a month's worth of lead time on all this stuff and a lot of fabrication although you know Berto are talking about doing something a little bit different with the wastegate dumps so we might using those I know we got round two of Adam versus intercooler cleaning party and we bought the real acetone that we're supposed to be using so we're gonna fill this grill up we're gonna gloves because Alberto said it's very bad to get this stuff on your skin we're gonna fill up the intercooler and then we're gonna cap it and shake it around a bit now as I poured all over my shirt my foot is cold now I want to remove a lot of nail polish one gallon was probably way more than we actually need that's okay my foot where it leaked on this very cold right now the gloves are getting larger and leaking stop at gloves we're just gonna rock the boat for a while it smells really bad in here something would be like black is that good that it's clear though or the acetone yeah it's a lot right yeah okay wait wait can I put my hand in there and take off my fingernail polish no because I think you I suppose again your fingernail is not your hands I'm just like really surprised that like I swear the center Kalu's yeah it's got like grime in it but like nothing is dissolving it which is that kind of annoying me oh well alright I guess we tried it that's not
