APC Back UPS RS-600VA - Unboxing and Review - iGyaan

Title: A Comprehensive Review of the APC 600v UPS: Unboxing and First Impressions

What's happening guys, is buzz now, cause right hand out in, and today we're going to be taking a look at something new for igon, and this is the APC 600v, a UPS. This is a standard UPS meant for one computer; it's a very basic UPS and comes for a price of rupees 2000 in the market. So, let's quickly take a look at what's inside the box. I'm guessing there's not a lot inside the box but let's go ahead and see if there's anything extra inside the box of this UPS.

Now, we are also going to be reviewing this UPS, and I'm going to be using this on my main station. This was sent in to us by a PC for a quick review, so let's take a look at it. So, we have a quality assurance certificate that it's passed all the tests, and we do have a product registration booklet and all sorts of user manuals and safety instructions. We also have a limited warranty and a basic user guide for the APC back-ups rs600.

I'll just give you a quick demo of the outside of the device on the front over here. You have the power button right in the center, and it's completely out of charge now, so I'll have to charge it for a while before I can do anything. Now, there it does have an inbuilt circuit breaker to protect your computer or protect your devices; you have three outlet ports, and it does have surge protection. This is really nice because we need surge protection due to our electricity being still very erratic although they have fixed the electricity quite a lot in Delhi but it's still very erratic.

If you look at the bottom over here, you'll be able to see the details; it accepts 230 volt input, 50 to 60 Hertz battery backup is 600 V, and a total output current of two point six amperes. So, you need to ensure that your devices are within that range. I'll come back with the full review okay guys, so we've used the APC 600v for about seven days now, and overall it seems alright.

We were able to connect my main hackintosh on to this my monitor and a all-in-one printer which is a three-in-one printer which is an HP Officejet 8500. This was able to give us a battery backup of about 10 minutes post electrical failure so in that sense we're pretty happy it says it's a fairly cheap UPS compared to the one that we use. We use an online UPS in our office, and that one cost a bomb compared to this one; it is very cheap and when the electricity goes you don't feel the shock your computer does not even feel a jitter got about 10 minutes of backup and we could easily save our stuff and shut down so from that sense of view we were pretty impressed with the APC back-ups rs600.

It does not have any connections at the back to monitor the ups or to monitor battery life; you can just kind of judge that it's going to last for about 10 minutes, and there is no terminal of sorts to tell you or to connect with your computer to tell you how the battery life is or what the condition of the battery is. So, that is the only downside to this budget UPS but apart from that it's fairly good. You do get a two-year on-site warranty so if there is any issue a PC people will come to your office or your house and repair the ups or replace the batteries or whatever the problem may be they will fix it for you.

So, it's a fairly good UPS and for the price we are pretty happy with the kind of backup it gives; it's a small tiny UPS and it's not too heavy. We are also happy about this circuit breaker being inbuilt into this so that's a good little add-on to the UPS. So, there you go guys, this was our first review of a UPS, and this is from a PC called the APC back-ups rs600 for more unboxing videos reviews and tutorials log on to I ganderton if you have any questions or queries regarding this particular product you can leave them in the comment section below or on Facebook Twitter Google+ or do subscribe to our YouTube channel.
