AFTER YOU BY JOJO MOYES_ BOOK REVIEW

I Love Sam: A Character Analysis

Sam is a character from Louisa Clark's life that I think she needed in her life. He's a solid guy who is both strong and gentle, making him very awesome. Their relationship was amazing to watch, with blossom being the voice of reason and helping them work through their issues. I loved how they had that big patch of problems, but ultimately figured out what they wanted for each other.

Spoiler Alert: Stan Was Jake's Father

I thought it was obvious from the beginning that Sam was Jake's father, and when we finally found out who the real culprit was, I was shocked. The twist completely changed my perspective on the whole story. I love how everything made sense after frien's, and how Louisa got a second chance to take control of her life in New York.

A Second Chance for Louisa

I loved seeing Louisa's journey as she struggled to move on from Will's death. Her decision to let him go was a beautiful thing, and I was heartbroken when he passed away. The way the story wrapped up with all the characters coming together was so moving. I couldn't help but feel happy for Louisa as she finally started to heal and make amends.

The Back of My Mind

As I read the book, I often found myself worrying about Louisa's well-being. She wasn't taking care of herself, and it showed in her relationships with others. I wanted to scream at her to focus on her own life and take better decisions for herself. However, this is a reflection of my love for Louisa Clark from the original book, "Me Before You". The first book was so captivating, and I had high expectations for its sequel.

Mixed Reactions

When it came out that this book wasn't as well-received as "Me Before You", I couldn't help but feel disappointed. However, upon re-reading the book, I realized that my opinion had changed. While I still didn't love it as much as the first one, I enjoyed it and would recommend it to others. There are many people who loved this book, so it's clear that opinions are divided.
