The Author's Excitement for the Build: A Ram That Comes In a Really Nice Price Point
I'm really excited about this build and I think you will be too. The RAM that comes with it is a great addition to the system, especially when compared to other options available in the market. The author notes that the RAM "is probably the component I'm most excited about" and mentions that it's a great value for its price point.
A GPU That Aligns Performance with a GTX 1070 TI
This GPU is actually aligned more closely with the performance of a GTX 1070 TI from last generation. The author notes that this is because of its latest proprietary raytrace technology, which enhances shadows and reflections in games like Battlefield V, creating a much more immersive gaming experience.
A New Direction for Nvidia: Founders Edition Cards
Nvidia has changed its approach with the founders edition cards. Instead of just selling them to other companies or reviewers, they're now selling them directly to consumers at a price that's lower than most other cards from major manufacturers like Asus, Gigabyte, and MSI. The author notes that this is because Nvidia wants to offer RTX 2060 performance without breaking the bank.
The Storage Configuration: A Controversial Decision
When it comes to storage, the author has made some decisions that might raise a few eyebrows. They've chosen a Barracuda 2 terabyte hard drive with a 7200 rpm speed, which is fast compared to mainstream consumer hard drives. However, the author also notes that this means failure rates are high and they would recommend picking up an SSD drive like the 10.2 SX 8200 Pro if budget allows. This decision wasn't made due to performance or power consumption concerns.
The Case: A Sweet Spot for the Author
When it comes to cases, the author has a sweet spot for the Cooler Master Q 300 P. They love its design, which includes easy-to-use handles on top and bottom that make it easy to carry around, as well as good clearance for airflow. The basic interior enclosure is also designed with airflow in mind, featuring dual RGB 120mm fans at the front.
The Power Supply: A Modular Design
For the power supply, the author chose a brand new unit from Coolermaster - the MWe 650 Gold. They've been a frequent user of the Master series from Coolermoaster and are impressed with their latest design. The power supply takes the modular design a step further by featuring fully removable cables that can be plugged in only when needed, which helps to reduce clutter. It also features 80+ Gold certification, ensuring high efficiency and low noise output.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat is up guys welcome back to another geek awhat video today I got an insane 1000 dollar gaming PC bone for 2019 this is by far and away the most powerful system I've ever built for a one thousand dollar budget so without any further ado let's jump into it the Netgear Nighthawk XR 500 is the ultimate gaming Rooter just look at it with best-in-class hardware dual band 802 11 AC Wi-Fi four speeds up to two point six gigabits per second a dual-core 1.7 gigahertz processor and running juma OS it's pretty nurse the included bandwidth allocation functionality allows you to prioritize devices in your home and choose how bandwidth is shared for the most optimal performance learn more at the links in the description below now before I dive into the parts that I selected for this build and why just how well does this system perform spoiler alert very well whether it be 1080p or 1440p is got it covered ultra settings and a consistent sustained 60 frames per second and breathe call of duty's black ops 4 to Forza horizon fall to Just Cause 3 project cars to this systems got it covered battlefield 5 one of the latest and most demanding titles is also supported and is gonna work really well with ray tracing enabled which it hunts is shadows and reflections to make that experience that bit more immersive you can also run csgo World of Warcraft League of Legends the eSports titles 4k 60fps without even flinching and before anyone asks yes it can remember G yes it can run fortnight and yes it can Renee packs but what parts exactly make all of this raw gaming horsepower possible let's dive in and take a look but first if you are already subscribed make sure you do so and ding dong that notification now hit me up on Instagram as well for a load of straight PC pornography let's now kick off the parts this with the CPU I chose and why the AMD Rises 520 600 X is probably the perfect CPU for a build of this price point not only do you get six cores and twelve threads so superb multi-threaded performance which is gonna work great in the latest games optimized for a multi-threaded workload you also get a fast boost clock speed of up to 4.2 gigahertz which covers the single-threaded performance side nicely games such as csgo world Warcraft League of Legends are all adequately accounted for you also get a 95 watt TDP which isn't too high and it's gonna keep the CPU cool as well as a superb included stock cooler though for obvious reasons we're not going to be using it talking to the CPU cooler we are going to be using this is the cooler master hyper 212 RGB Black Edition essentially they talked the original 212 Evo which was hugely popular and massively successful and nickel-plated the whole thing this blacked out version with an RGB fan performs the same as the original but looks a whole load better to learn more about this cooler you can check it out either at the links in the description below or in my review video in the card section here moving on to the motherboard in this build and I selected the MSI B 450 M Pro + 2 now one of the major advantages of going with an AMD rising chip is that you don't have to buy the most expensive motherboards to be able to overclock arguably the other main CPU option for this build would be Intel's Core i5 9600 K whilst this is undoubtedly a fantastic seat for you you have to buy the most expensive motherboards in order to be able to overclock it and get the full potential this board is cheaper and allows you to overclock this cpu and get a bit more free particularly single-threaded performance out of it you also get wider support for like dual channel memory a really nice rear i/o as well as pcie 3.0 and got two slots which gives you a good bit of future proofing if you will the am 4 socket also supports right up to the AMD Rison 720 800 X which means if you did want to upgrade this system later down the line and that's really easy thing to do for the memory in this build for the RAM you can probably see it shining bright in the system behind me this is a 16 gigabyte kit and a data's spectryx D 41 to 8 gigabyte DIMMs of memory with a clock speed of 20 666 megahertz which kind of cause be overclocked further in your motherboard BIOS it covers all the bases nicely an addressable diffused RGB strip up top looks phenomenal and this price comes in this Ram comes in sorry at a really nice price point they've up-to-date pricing I will leave Amazon links in at the description below for the graphics card in this build this is probably the component I'm most excited about this is in videos latest RTX 2016 now for those of you that haven't been keeping up you can find my full review video in the card section here but I know what you're probably thinking oh great and video sort of release the new 1060 would be do and that wouldn't really be true these GPU has performance that aligns more to that of a gtx 1070 TI from last generation and is in all fairness priced accordingly you do of course get a support for in videos latest proprietary raytrace and technology which enhances shadows and reflections and games such as battlefield 5 and creates a much more immersive gaming experience as you can see on screen now interestingly in this build are actually opted for the founders Edition card and there's good reason for that previously invidious then I saw the founders and the reference cards whatever you want to call them out to the likes of Asus gigabyte n MSI as well as two youtubers media and reviewers so we could get an idea of just what the card was all about Nvidia have changed tactic now though not only is this founders edition better in its design with a better cooler better overclock in Headroom and a stunning design with a wraparound backplate and front route but actually sellin this card direct to consumers you can pick it up often videos website for a price that wait for it sits lower than pretty much every other card from Asus gigabyte and MSI now I won't jump into the politics of why that is but if you want RTX 2060 performance without breaking the bank this is the way to go by far and away moving on to take a look at the storage configuration in this build and this is admittedly where my decisions get a little bit controversial they say get Barracuda 2 terabyte hard drive gives loads of mass storage space and the 7200 rpm speed is as fast as mainstream consumer hard drives tend to get I've got loads of these drives and never had a single one in terms of reliability but it is a hard drive so failure rates are going to be high up than SSDs for example in nine times out of ten I would recommend also picking up an SSD drive like this at a 10.2 SX 8200 Pro which really is pretty good value for the price point but in this build that just wasn't the price and flexibility to do so without impacting the game and performance significantly for the penultimate part in this system for the case I must admit I've got a bit of a sweet spot for this one this is the cooler master q 300 P whether it be the handles on the top and bottom that alike to easily carry a system and provide good clearance for airflow whilst also looking pretty sick or the basic interior enclosure that bodes itself well to airflow with dual RGB 120mm fans at the front I'm not really sure all I know is that I think it looks really quite fantastic the price button is also very appealing I believe you can pick this up for like $60 though as with all the parts latest pricing can be found at the links in the description below or at the webpage in the card section here coolermaster have done a really great job of this one and most the acrylic side panels do scratch a little bit easier than I might like as long as you're a little bit careful when you're putting it together you aren't going to have too many issues for the final part in this build for the power supply I selected a brand new unit from coolermaster this is their MWe 650 gold and now I've been a frequent user of the master at 650 from Coolermaster and this power supply takes that design a step further at a price that is literally identical so massive props to Coolermaster for that one not only do you get a fully modular interface meaning you only plug in the cables you need you get fully black rubber sleeved cables which help blend in with the build a lot better than these sort of ketchup and mustard alternatives and you also get an 80 plus gold certification that means this power supply is going to perform at well above 80 percent efficiency at all times keeping your energy bills down and perhaps more importantly keeping the heat output and noise output of this system down at pretty significantly but I think though just about wraps it up for this build if you did enjoy it give it a big old like rating if you aren't already subscribed what are you waiting for make sure you join that notification squad hit me up on these
