I'm glad I got to drive out of it, it's got plenty of power so you don't have to floor it anything like only floor it once you were halfway through the turn and you feel like you need more, you know we're gonna be probably in second gear honestly because this thing's got goes like 95 miles an hour second gear, okay thanks for having me do some donuts first and second gear, donuts are first gear what am I okay to clutch kick it, steering's gonna get me interesting all right yeah I understand, we mean out by buying you time, it's 4,000 pounds all right I'll flick it less hard, it's all just slow everything down and I'm so thankful that I have time today to practice and you stead of being sandwiched in between you guys so much flick yeah yeah so again it's the same type of thing like when you do that transition yeah I'm gonna flick soft and then reel in the angle okay just buying yourself that extra a little bit of time, I gotta admit it's harder than I thought it was gonna be yeah no that's I said like once it clicks and you figure out how it works you're good but it takes some time to still too hard yeah so when you're coming into the transition yeah like sorry throttling awful okay rather than giving it the juice all right we're okay with a little rubbing noises right okay I'm sorry they're gonna be like wow you're letting this guy down almost out of their slow action here you'll jump out I'll just show you how to transition this evening honey, memory I think I understand that's kind of what I had to do with the what-do-you-call-it gt350 yeah like I just didn't ever let up on the gas I think that's the trick for me yeah because when I let go the gas that's where all the funky stuff would happen right or you can have bring every time well it seemed like there you were doing full throttle transitions so yes not full throttle but on throttle yeah once they're already set up all right I think I understand it'll click I'm just glad I'm not having to like learn out there in the middle of the chaos thank you it's weird yeah yeah well not not weird in a bad way it's just it's just a different vehicle you got to be nice to it on the transitions yeah you'll be nice I wasn't being nice you got to be nice yeah a little bit more mass to tossin it's all the way that's it yeah just catching more weight all right I think do you think it's because I'm like trying to like flick the wheel rather than how you kind of like yeah I've never like really done that but you just really gotta get it to lock to catch it I understand feel like it's caught then you're good so just try to flick softer no way you can buy yourself the little guys so if you would have picked up the throttle you want to save that way like yeah where I give it a little bit too much now it's going to be there much better I think playing with the footbrake helps me a lot just like that's kind of how I Drive the GTX 100 I had a really hard time with that at first but when you kind of use the foot brake to kind of maneuver the weight of the car I just feel like I'm Way more in control than just kind of letting it got it yeah here's a quick walk around on the Tesla powered a 36 from EVs you said that this is just straight out of a Model S that's so cool they just came back from doing a time attack at Pikes Peak with this thing and they actually took first place just very cool how long is this said I've been in this car this is probably been in the car about what two months now yeah but also no too much this is actually our first like legit test session besides driving on the streets from the shop that's cool I didn't get any footage of it because you guys will be seeing a ton of it tomorrow but we just went out and shred the three of us me Chelsea and Vaughn with the 2018 RTR and then Vaughn's demo car what what can they expect tomorrow just more rad driving and having a good time crashing having fun maybe some people jumping on off the ramp and oh the trucks yeah and a lot of cool cars will be here so make sure you come and check it out say bum seok does a lot of rad driving definitely like we could end it today dude yeah dude I'm top so yeah I'm proud of you bro I know the good-looking cars my car being driven oh dude it's a cool feeling this rad its rad well anyway guys thanks for watching and tomorrow there'll be a lot of rad footage of these three cars to animate

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enI swear it's not what you're thinking yes although we are in a Mustang right now this is a bone stock EcoBoost Mustang they actually reserved me an SUV and I decided that it would be really ironic and funny to show up with a Mustang so I got a rental Mustang it's my first rental car actually other than that Audi that I had and I'm actually really really happy that I got a Mustang rental car because driving in LA traffic with something that I'm comfortable with has been amazing the EcoBoost is kind of cool but it has so many gears I don't know if it's nine or ten speed but it almost feels like it has a CVT transmission so that's pretty interesting anyway we are going to Anaheim to Angel Stadium and today I'm actually going to be getting some practice laps in the RTR Mustang but we'll talk about it when we get there I realized I left out a big detail too we flew into LA so we're in California so we made it to Angel Stadium and I'm here with Chelsea I have no idea of what the whole deal is but like why is this even happening why am i able to be driving an RTR Mustang what's the point - so it's Nitta auto enthusiasts day they've been doing this thing this is their fourth event here and we basically have a huge skid pad with a jump for trucks and it's basically for all the people in this area we're in SoCal LA area to be able to come out and see what Nitto is all about we're all about having fun and see what kind of people they work with so we wanted to get you out here in the Mustang we have three of them and I was nice enough to give you the one that's set up because now I'm driving a completely stock RTR for this weekend I figured you'd be better off in this car and yeah have some fun shred a little bit alright so for anyone that's not familiar with this car I know it's been a lot of videos and you've driven the crap out of it quick rundown on like what's done to it so it's a 2015 RTR Mustang it's a spec five body kit on it so it has all the Aero but I suspect too underneath it has about 440 horsepower at the tires it's got an illuminator 5 liter motor that screams like 8,000 rpm good brakes RTR suspension obviously new tires it's got a roll bar a seat and a SD handbrake angle-angle has a little bit more angle in stock it's probably got about 48 or 50 degrees stock is about 35 but the geometry is set up to help the steering feel it'll be a little bit better allow you to drive an angle it's definitely a demo car it's not a competition car in any way shape or form the guys in Charlotte RTR drive this every day just as it is we take it to the track we put a little toe out in the front and send it out there so it'll be fun driving a Mustang and drifting is a lot different than any other car so I'm very very thankful of hit last minute you let me know that I could come out of day or relief this to dry with you and Vaughn on track in front of like 10,000 people with a car that I've never driven before made me really nervous yeah I mean that was kind of thing we want you to be comfortable and have fun that's what this is all about it's not fun if you just jump in a car you've never driven before well no it is fun but it's a little embarrassing embarrassing so I mean we'll get you out there put you some practice laps and we got about 30 minutes and maybe two or four tires so see how it goes all right so he's gonna kind of give me the rundown I'm predicting that'll probably spin out for the first five or six laps yeah and then maybe it'll start to Collider pretty good yeah I mean we've taught a lot of people how to drive these cars even guys who've been driving their whole life I see Chris Forsberg get in this car and for the first four or five laps to be kind of like hot weird it's different listen I don't know and then all of a sudden boom it clicks and then you're ripping and I think that you have some talent you've been driving a lot of different cars so you'll be fine thank you well I'm very very excited to be out here and in case you guys want to come out I'm probably uploading this early in the day so it'll still be going on it's like 12 to 7 at Angel Stadium free admission yeah movie admission will be a bunch of cars I'll be having some fun and yeah be good one other cool thing that you guys will probably see here that car's gonna be here tomorrow right I think it'll be here to show not actually drift okay well anyway there's a Tesla powered ether t6 that they were testing earlier an Evo West car it is awesome it's so we're doing by silent I think the skateboard motor is louder than the actual Tesla car it's crazy and that isn't drifting a car that you get here that have rubber hitting the fenders while you're here thing that's so weird all right give me the rundown all right so obviously you gotta buy yourself a little bit more time cars 4,000 pounds you used to drive in a 2,600 pounds chassis has like very 90s technology this is new so there's dual pivot steering still so you lose a little bit of that steering return so you won't get a ton of looks like crosstie or a counter steer or self steer as a lot of people call it so the big thing is to buy yourself some time on that hand brakes and when you initiate don't be afraid to be getting to hold it longer to get yourself set to the angle then drive out of it it's got plenty of power so you don't have to floor it anything like only floor it once you were halfway through the turn and you feel like you need more you know we're gonna be probably in second gear honestly because this thing's got goes like 95 miles an hour second gear okay thanks for having me do some donuts first and second gear donuts are first gear what am i okay to clutch kick it steering's gonna get me interesting all right yeah I understand we mean out by buying you time it's 4,000 pounds all right I'll flick it less hard it's all just slow everything down and I'm so thankful that I have time today to practice and you stead of being sandwiched in between you guys so much flick yeah yeah so again it's the same type of thing like when you do that transition yeah I'm gonna flick soft and then reel in the angle okay just buying yourself that extra a little bit of time I gotta admit it's harder than I thought it was gonna be yeah no that's I said like once it clicks and you figure out how it works you're good but it takes some time to still too hard yeah so when you're coming into the transition yeah like sorry throttling awful okay rather than giving it the juice all right we're okay with a little rubbing noises right okay I'm sorry they're gonna be like wow you're letting this guy down almost out of their slow action here you'll jump out I'll just show you how to transition this evening honey memory I think I understand that's kind of what I had to do with the what-do-you-call-it gt350 yeah like I just didn't ever let up on the gas I think that's the trick for me yeah because when I let go the gas that's where all the funky stuff would happen right or you can have bring every time well it seemed like there you were doing full throttle transitions so yes not full throttle but on throttle yeah once they're already set up all right I think I understand it'll click I'm just glad I'm not having to like learn out there in the middle of the chaos thank you it's weird yeah yeah well not not weird in a bad way it's just it's just a different vehicle you got to be nice to it on the transitions yeah you'll be nice I wasn't being nice you got to be nice yeah a little bit more mass to tossin it's all the way that's it yeah just catching more weight all right I think do you think it's because I'm like trying to like flick the wheel rather than how you kind of like yeah I've never like really done that but you just really gotta get it to lock to catch it I understand feel like it's caught then you're good so just try to flick softer no way you can buy yourself the little guys so if you would have picked up the throttle you want to save that way like yeah where I give it a little bit too much now it's going to be there much better I think playing with the footbrake helps me a lot just like that's kind of how I Drive the GTX 100 I had a really hard time with that at first but when you kind of use the foot brake to kind of maneuver the weight of the car I just feel like I'm Way more in control than just kind of letting it got it yeah here's a quick walk around on the Tesla powered a 36 from EVs you said that this is just straight out of a Model S that's so cool they just came back from doing a time attack at Pikes Peak with this thing and they actually took first place just very cool how long is this said I've been in this car this is probably been in the car about what two months now yeah but also no too much this is actually our first like legit test session besides driving on the streets from the shop that's cool I didn't get any footage of it because you guys will be seeing a ton of it tomorrow but we just went out and shred the three of us me Chelsea and Vaughn with the 2018 RTR and then Vaughn's demo car what what can they expect tomorrow just more rad driving and having a good time crashing having fun maybe some people jumping on off the ramp and oh the trucks yeah and a lot of cool cars will be here so make sure you come and check it out say bum seok does a lot of rad driving definitely like we could end it today dude yeah dude I'm top so yeah I'm proud of you bro I know the good-looking cars my car being driven oh dude it's a cool feeling this rad its rad well anyway guys thanks for watching and tomorrow there'll be a lot of rad footage of these three cars to animateI swear it's not what you're thinking yes although we are in a
