iOS 9.3 Beta 2 Released! New Features Review

**New Features and Improvements in iOS 9.3 Beta 2**

The latest update to iOS, known as iOS 9.3 beta 2, brings several new features and improvements that enhance the overall user experience. One of the most notable additions is a new control center toggle for the Night Shift feature, which was first introduced in an Apple advertisement in Canada. This toggle allows users to easily switch on or off Night Shift, making it more convenient and accessible.

**Control Center Toggle and Night Shift**

The control center toggle is located at the top of the screen, and when clicked, it reveals a new setting for Night Shift. This feature has undergone changes since its introduction in iOS 9.2, with improvements made to make it more user-friendly and customizable. Users can now set an automatic schedule for Night Shift, which allows the device to automatically adjust the display and brightness based on the time of day.

The new toggle is also accompanied by a change in the way Night Shift settings are accessed. In iOS 9.3 beta 2, users must navigate to Settings > Display & Brightness to access Night Shift settings, compared to the previous version where it was accessible from the control center. This change may be intended to reduce clutter and make Night Shift more discoverable.

**3D Touch Toggles**

iOS 9.3 also brings new 3D touch toggles for certain apps, including Settings and the App Store. The Redeem logo has been updated to feature a bolder design, while the Purchased logo now has a more subtle look. These changes may be intended to enhance the overall user experience and make it easier for users to access their favorite features.

**Apple Watch Preview**

One of the most exciting new features in iOS 9.3 beta 2 is the addition of a preview screen for Apple Watch faces. When connected to an Apple watch, users can now see a live preview of their current watch face on the device, providing a more immersive experience.

**Performance Comparison**

In terms of performance, iOS 9.3 beta 2 appears to have some issues, particularly when compared to the previous beta version. A Geekbench test was conducted on an iPhone 6s Plus, which showed that iOS 9.3 beta 2 performed worse than its predecessor. This may be attributed to the fact that this is still a beta update, and as such, it's not uncommon for performance to degrade before final release.

**Geekbench Results**

The Geekbench test results for iOS 9.3 beta 2 on an iPhone 6s Plus were as follows:

* Single-core score: 1,046

* Multi-core score: 1,441

In contrast, the single-core score for iOS 9.3 beta 1 was 1,144, and the multi-core score was 1,744.

Overall, while there are some areas of improvement in iOS 9.3 beta 2, it's clear that this update still has some work to do before its release.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwell it's Oh God is everything out we'll prove here Iowa's 9.3 beta to just dropped alongside OS ten point eleven point four beta to watch OS 2.2 beta 2 and today also TV OS nine point one point one so big busy day for Apple today I was 9.3 beta 2 comes with a handful of new features there's a really really big one and it's awesome so without any further ado jump into the new features found in 9.3 beta 2 and how it performs and looks side-by-side with the previous beta I have loaded on the 6s plus in us 6s so first up number one feature is a new control center toggle this is for the new Knights shift feature it was first seen on an apple advertisement in Canada in a picture now we finally have it on all iPads and all devices that currently support nightshift so if you're wondering if your device gets this feature first off you have to be 64-bit compatible so 5 s and above the 5 C 5 + 4 s do not get the night shift feature so you won't see this so there's this toggle right here when you click on it this is what happens you can turn it on for now or turn on until tomorrow really cool I only wish that Apple would have added this up here I liked how big the toggles were over here and I do wish still that they add a low-power mode toggle anywhere up here really I use that one a lot I wish it was there otherwise cool we have a new toggle over here now to the night shift features have changed so to get a better idea of how I'm gonna compare it to the first iOS 9.3 beta right here so in the display and brightness previously I honestly like these features a little bit better now it's more hidden so you have to go inside and in here you can trigger it so you can set an automatic setting as well which is really cool so that is new as well really cool stuff so making tweaks and optimizations for honestly like the interface of this a little bit better now I was 9.3 brought with it several new 3d touch toggles for some apps that previously didn't have it on settings in particular this is what it looked like now apples removed 2d set wallpaper which honestly I thought was a little interesting for Apple to put it there in the first place I mean if I do change the wallpaper it's not something I'm doing often so does that make to have it there now that's gone so it's a little bit different now if you actually click on the App Store's 3d toggles they're a little bit different as well the Redeem logo is just a little bit bolder the one on the right is penciled in and the purchased logo is changed so a little bit bolder for redeem and a new purchase logo 3d touch on the app store also if you use your Apple watch with iOS 9.3 in the actual Apple watch page which by the way looks like this on nine point two point one and nine point three it now looks like this so you'll get a preview of the current watch face being used on your device and this is off of a 95 Mac I believe so I don't have it set up with a nine point three device I don't want to erase it to show you guys you'll get a little preview of your Apple watch face over here in the Apple watch application now on 9.3 beta 2 that's just about it for the new feature so iOS 9.3 is actually a very very significant update probably the biggest iOS 9 update ever besides I Westen ion came with a whole bunch of new toggles the F dot looks you know daylight nighttime mode incorporated into iOS and just a lot of optimizations I'm really excited really looking forward to it now how's the performance compared to the first beta which didn't do too well let's go ahead and run a geek bench real quick I'm gonna clear out everything and see if it's any better on the 6s plus and success and Wow so 9.3 beta 2 did worse on the 6s plus considerably which I'm a little bit surprised about 9.3 did worse the nine point two point one so not seeing a very good trend here but this is a beta you know it does get worse before it gets better usually on these 6s same trends so 9.3 beta 2 on the left as you can see proved by that and pretty much lower score as well so that's just about it guys i wish 9.3 looks great I love the new toggle right there still a little bit of work to be done but when this drops this is gonna be a great up to I cannot wait to get better sleep using that feature now in iOS really really cool stuff guys there's a lot of features I didn't mention in this video that I have in my previous update video on the left so be sure to check that out if you want to learn every detail there is a bow 9.3 otherwise do you expect a full-speed comparison at once the actual version is out have a great day peacewell it's Oh God is everything out we'll prove here Iowa's 9.3 beta to just dropped alongside OS ten point eleven point
