Fortnite Season Update: New Guns, Snipers, and Mythic Skins Revealed

As we dive into the new season of Fortnite, it's clear that Epic Games is bringing some exciting changes to the game. One of the first things we noticed was the introduction of a Tommy Gun, which seems to be a new semi-auto or full auto type gun. This is also accompanied by a lever shotgun, but it doesn't seem to be the standard lever shotgun used in the game. The layout and design of the guns are new and different from what we've seen before.

The New Movement Mechanic

One of the most notable changes in the new season is the introduction of a new movement mechanic called the "Grind Rails." This replaces the traditional grind rails, but instead, they're now on zip lines. The game's editor, scroll, was able to showcase this new mechanic, and it looks like a lot of fun. It seems that the Grind Rails will be used for traversal and navigation around the map.

Temple Pois and Mythic Skins

As we explore the jungle biome, we come across one of the new Temple pois. This is where players can get their hands on the Optimus Prime Mythic skin, which is a level 100 exclusive. The skin itself looks cool, and when activated, it brings out an energy Blaster that shoots out with exploding plants that release poisonous gas. These plants seem to have a Chain Reaction effect, making them explode in a domino-like fashion.

New Plants and Effects

In addition to the Optimus Prime Mythic skin, we see new plants being introduced to the game. The purple plants seem to be explosive, while the green ones give off poisonous gas. These plants will likely play a role in the upcoming season's events and gameplay mechanics.

Sniper Rifle R Rumors and New Sniper

There have been rumors of a thermal sniper rifle, which seems to be confirmed with the introduction of Sloan, who is using it. The design of the sniper rifle looks sleek and new, and we can't wait to get our hands on it. Perhaps this will be the slowing sniper that's been rumored.

Sloan Returns

We also see Sloane return, sporting a jungle look that's both cool and intimidating. She seems to be enjoying herself, and her presence is always welcome in the game.

Battle Pass Skins Announced

Fortnite has announced some of the battle pass skins for this season, including Mariposa, Relic, Era, Trace, Ryan, Brianne, and Lorenzo. These skins look amazing, with unique designs and powers that will make them stand out from each other. The theme seems to be centered around a compass icon, which is a new addition to the game.

down that's very normal but here's an important part right here so this mud part there will be mud in this new jungle biome we talked about this and this pretty much confirms it it will slow you down and create a trail when you walk through the mud now with the Dinosaurs there's also dinosaur eggs I don't know why there are eggs maybe they can hatch maybe you can eat the eggs for heels I'm not exactly too sure dinosaurs by the way do have a different color to them but now you can ride the dinosaurs which we see this main character do right here anything that we're missing here okay that is a Tommy Gun this guy's carrying a Tommy Gun so that's like a new semi-auto or full auto type gun this is also a new shotgun uh is it the lever shotgun it's not the lever shotgun is it well Tommy Gun and uh lever rifle it has a shock and shells I don't see it as a is that the ranger shotgun I don't know it's kind of covered behind a plant it looks it looks awfully familiar but it also looks like rifle it could be the level rifle I know that it got changed but it also looks different than a level rifle I feel like the lava rifle would be kind of boring I feel like maybe they have a new version of it so this is the Optimus Optimus Prime skin he's actually the tier 100 he's not the secret skin and that right there this is Optimus Prime's Mythic it's like a energy Blaster so that's his Mythic uh weapon shoots out and there's there's these exploding plants are gonna be in this jungle biome and it looks like they explode and give off like a poisonous gas similar to stink bombs um you see them all kind of chain exploding as well and the gas forming they're all running out makes perfect sense that wall comes crumbling I'm wondering if like when you grab the Mythic that's what's gonna happen similar to the Indiana Jones uh you know cutscene or not scene but where the boulder kind of rolls out now this sniper there is rumors of a thermal sniper so there will be a brand new sniper in pickaxes and stuff there's a theme with the compass that's definitely the like uh the icon for this group of people that are being introduced this season uh we see it again here with Trace he has like some blue on his staff and even on his hand although he doesn't have the compass on him he looks dope um we also have Ryan or Brianne it looks cool there's the lever pistol in action and then we have this guy Lorenzo he has the cut he has the compass tattoo on his hand seems to be like the main character he seems to be in charge we saw him take over in that trailer and uh usually we also get a
