A Recent Haul from TJ Maxx: Unpacking the Finds and Favorites

I was on a mission to find some great deals at TJ Maxx, and I'm thrilled to report that I found some fantastic pieces that will add some excitement to my home decor projects. One of the first items I spotted was this adorable little potted plant with a whitewashed look to the clay pot. The texture of the clay wasn't really my thing, but the overall aesthetic of the piece won me over, and it ended up being only $6.99.

I had originally been looking for a price point around $2.80, but as I took a closer look at this tiny plant, I realized that it was actually worth much more than that. It's perfect for adding some greenery to the China Hutch area in my kitchen, which has been a work-in-progress for me lately. I'm hoping to get the space finished soon, and this little plant will be a great addition to the decor. The fact that it's on sale at TJ Maxx made it an even more attractive purchase.

Next up was a beautiful glass drink ware piece with a lemon design. I fell in love with the idea of using this as a decorative item, but also as a functional piece for serving drinks. The lemons are so cute and well-designed that I couldn't resist buying four of them, which were only $5.99 each. I plan to use these as actual cups, and maybe even install one of them over a small table or shelf to add some visual interest.

The same glass drink ware piece was also available in the color lemonade, which is exactly what I've been looking for to match my China Hutch area. The font on this item is adorable, and it has a farmhouse feel that I really love. The fact that it says "Lemonade" instead of using just the word "lemon" really sold me on this piece, as it will add an extra layer of meaning to the space.

Speaking of the lemon theme, I also picked up a set of Rea Done-inspired tea packets, which are perfect for storing in my new glass drink ware cups. The design is so cute and simple that I love it, and the fact that it's on sale at TJ Maxx made it an even more attractive purchase.

Finally, I found a beautiful wooden tea box with a lid, which caught my eye due to its lovely wood top. The design is simple but elegant, and I think it will be perfect for storing tea packets or other small items in the kitchen. The price point of $9.99 was also very reasonable, considering the quality and craftsmanship that went into this piece.

Overall, I'm thrilled with my TJ Maxx haul, and I can't wait to see how everything comes together in my home decor projects. From the little potted plant to the Rea Done-inspired tea packets, each item has its own unique charm and character that will add some personality to the space.

even know I'm just gonna kind of dive in today so that I couldn't save you guys from the awkwardness that is happening but we're gonna sit down I want to share with you guys three different stores for today's haul we're gonna do Walmart t.j.maxx in kirklands and I'm really excited gonna be just a variety of things so not necessarily one specific category we're gonna look into decor and then decor and then just some other like bits and baubles of things that I got from Walmart so the first thing is from kirklands and it is this beautiful plant and I'll probably have to do like a little clip overlay of this so you can see the full thing because it is pretty tall and it's not fitting into this frame but you can see that it has some lemons on it and I love the pop of yellow I've oh I have always wanted one of these little floor plants and I finally got one and it was actually on sale I need to find the receipt cuz I don't remember what I ended up paying for it but I feel like I paid $40 for this it is pretty tall it's gorgeous I need to work on the branches a little bit more there they're not in their final resting place if you will yeah so I thought it was a pretty good deal all things considered and I was really happy about that the next piece is also from Kirkland so I only got two things and I saw this and I instantly said yeah now funny thing is that I've seen like the home side with the wreaths in the middle or they do something in the middle and actually I was never a fan of that other times that I saw it for whatever reason it was just this piece that let me put you guys back a little bit further it was just this piece that I fell in love with I think it was probably the combination of the stark dark wood and then the nice white letters and the boxwood wreath I love boxwood it's probably one of my favorite faux plant styles to put around the house and I also love the shape of it has that shutter look and I don't really have that much wood in this particular color and I think it's necessary for me to break up all the light I'm looking around because I just have a lot of different shades of brown and so I don't want to stick to like just one shade so that's why I found this super interesting it was 59.99 but this was also on sale so I don't remember what I paid for probably like $30 I would have to say and it's really really pretty so far in my mind I think this is gonna go in the kitchen but you never know I may end up switching it out and putting it somewhere else we're gonna go ahead and dive into Walmart and then we'll look at t.j.maxx last I picked up some candles this one's new is called pineapple fluff I can't describe the smell to you but it almost has you can definitely smell the underlining hint of pineapple but there's something else on top of it like a whipped like a whipped cream kind of like they have in the picture so I don't think I've ever had anything pineappley before for the kitchen so I'm excited about that and then I just went with a good old vanilla for whatever reason lately I just want my house to smell like vanilla I feel like it's one of those scents that's just nice and it's not overpowering to my senses and it has a nice sweet smell and I feel like a lot I feel like a lot of people could probably handle vanilla but maybe that's not true I don't even know cinnamon I think is a hard one but yeah so I just got vanilla and then see get that out okay I got a hat because you know on this channel I love wearing hats this is a really cute one I love the blue and white stripes it has a very summery nautical feel to it and I like that they home what is it with the home thing that's like a theme today it has a shape of Texas this is home sweet home and then it says Texas on the side too which I loved this little detail I thought that just made it extra special it was seven dollars and 97 cents it's a pretty good price for hat I don't actually have anything like this and I love blue so it was just the perfect the perfect hat for me to buy okay I got this bathing suit cover-up it's so beautiful I was really impressed with all of their Beach apparel at Walmart and this is for an upcoming vacation I got this in a small medium and it has this beautiful lace detail just absolutely gorgeous I hope you guys can kind of see like the full thing I mean it's just you know it's just that just a cover-up it also came in like a creamy white color it was 16 dollars and 97 cents and it also there were also not just lace there were so many different patterns and colors I was super impressed and let me tell you guys the quality of this feels so nice it's not that heavy and I don't even know how to describe it but it feels like such nice material it just does not feel cheap whatsoever just feels like luxury so I thought I think that's pretty impressive for the price I also picked up this tie-dye shirt enlarged I probably would have picked this up in medium if they had it but all I found was large it is the time and true brand which whenever I watch my fashion bloggers on YouTube they whenever they are hauling from Walmart time and true is one of the brains I see them buy from a lot and so I got this really beautiful and you know what um definitely think about how you want like certain tops to fit you with certain different style bottoms so like I imagined myself wearing these with leggings and so I think for me the size up is a perfect way to wear these with leggings and I can still also just like tie this so that would be cute too and is really soft material I also love that the edges of the sleeves are kind of rough cut you know and there's like a little look at that little detail I don't even know what you call that and I love the color selection of the ombre like tie-dye so I thought that was pretty cool and I love seeing like jewelry accounts on Instagram and all of like the trends and things that are happening and seeing all of these new companies pop up I love bauble bar they're not new but I love bauble bar like Alex and Ani or Annie or however you say it there are so many new companies that are coming out that have a similar twist between bauble bar and Alex and Ani and girl go to Walmart because you can find some really cute stackable jewelry and so this is the combination that I decided to go with today and it's like for example in this blue they had a ton of different bracelets that could you could buy and stack together and I just liked it with this combination and then this combination with the clear they had a bunch of different bracelets to combine together both of these were six dollars and ninety two cents you cannot beat that you really can't because if you were to look at Alex and Ani and bauble bar and all those places this not six dollars and ninety two cents and I think these are so beautiful and combining these two I think is going to be so so pretty so I really love that and I'm really excited about this blue I think it's so pretty very summery my favorite thing from Walmart from this Walmart Hall for sure then I got another top I feel like this was in the junior section and honestly this looks like a small to me but it's a medium but it's so pretty look at this beautiful blue color righty oh my gosh little off-the-shoulder moment with the beautiful late this lace detail I mean Walmart is truly killing it with the lace that they've got going on here this was $12.96 does it say that yeah they also have this in multiple colors as well I believe they had this in red they might have had this in white I'm not sure what other colors I saw but this Navy just stood out to me and I said yes and I will definitely wear these with like high-waisted jeans or shorts I think that would look really really pretty so that I got that and then I ventured over to the men's section which don'ts don't skip out on that because you could find some things there too I was actually kind of in a hurry and ready to get back home so I only skimmed one little area of the men's section in that moment I just got a plain t-shirt this was three dollars and eighty-eight cents oh yeah the in depth look at the tags I remember from the store and they had so many colors and I don't know why I didn't pick them up they had a lavender in the men's section they had a really beautiful seiji green not mint green not pure green but a beautiful sage green and I went with a medium a men's medium for this it's just a t-shirt you guys know I love the basic stuff so I think that was a steal and now I have to go back and get the other colors okay I also picked up some planner supplies and this will be the last parts of Walmart and then we'll get into t.j.maxx but yes Walmart does sell the happy planner stuff I saw the what are the sticker books called the happy planner sticker books but I didn't get any of those I was more interested in this stuff right here so these are little sticker packets and they were 98 cents each so I thought that was really cool because it's definitely comparable to Dollar Tree so here is this one and it tells you what you get in here so I love those colors got that one here is this one but there's multiple sheets in here by the way so this is all that you can see from the front but in the back it shows you and that pretty loved that one and this one really beautiful pastel colors also kind of has like a tie-dye look to it a little bit here's another one has some marbling effect holding it up too close I love the color combos of this one as well I mean 98 cents isn't that crazy yeah definitely check out Walmart for their planner stuff I'm still honestly surprised that they sell the happy planner stuff they're really I am oh I didn't realize I got dupes but I sure did so I'll probably take one of those back cuz I just don't want dupes of that one but here is this now this one this one was a tricky one because the the first let me tell you what it is it is a weekly planning pad and you get 52 pages so for 52 weeks for a full year and I actually really like this concept I think this will sit on a desk really nicely can't don't have you can see but there's a dotted line up there so when the week is over you can tear it off move on to the next week I love the color blocking of each day of the week so anyway the thing about this has that I was looking for a price and I thought this was like two dollars and eighty-eight cents and I thought that I'd matched up the the name of this too like the sticker een on the bottom of the thing and but it ended up bringing $7 so I don't I don't know I mean it makes sense this looks more like a $7 item to be fair than a $2.00 item but all right so now let's get into t.j.maxx and actually I was waiting for kirklands to open and they weren't open yet so I ventured over to t.j.maxx just to kind of have a look around and then this is what happened I'm really excited about it because it's there's not that much but it's really cute so the first thing you're not gonna be surprised it's just a little potted plant but I love that it has this whitewashed look to the clay pot and I actually don't like the texture of clay it's kind of like velvet for me and getting goose bumps already so I got it oh I gotta not think about it this was $6.99 and I got this for the china hutch area back in the kitchen that I've been telling you guys about that I'm decorating next I definitely need some green and I have been waiting for Hobby Lobby floral to be on sale it's finally on sale so I'm actually going to be going to Hobby Lobby probably tomorrow and seeing what what I can pick up so that I can finally get this area finished but I'm basically waiting on greenery to to get this video out for you guys okay then they had a time of rage on how gorgeous is that right I think it's perfect look at that just alone with this the fact that says lemonade is really what drew me to it because it has this nice farmhouse look that's the whole Rea done style the font is really cute too it's I can totally see why her stuff is very popular and trendy but I don't necessarily have to have everything Rea done I mean there are a couple of pieces where I'm like that is cute I would love to have that but really what sold me for this was that the fact that I said lemonade because I do want lemons on this China area china hutch area or hutch china cabinet area and I think that just using the word rather than the lemon could also emphasize the lemonade thing that I'm gonna or the lemon thing I'm trying to do so this was $14.99 and also I'll end up using this to actually put some lemonade in here but I am going to use it at first for before and I also got another rate diamond this one caught my attention because I really love the idea of storing tea in a cute way and I just thought this was really cute and I loved the wood top so that is what sold me on this one because you guys know I obviously love all the wood details and it's pretty simple I don't know if this is going to end up on my kitchen countertops over on this side or if it's gonna end up on that china cabinet section for decorate just really kind of depends and this was $9.99 but I'll just put you know my throat coat which is my favorite tea there I even did a video about this tea once I'll just put all the packets at throat cut in there which will be perfect for the upcoming fall so there's that okay the last thing is the same item but I got four of them and they are these a beautiful glass drink ware with the lemons oh my gosh Oh freaking cute and I got fly they only had four and I got all four and they were $5.99 you know but they're really cute and I I just couldn't get myself to walk away from this whatsoever and I'm also going to be using the Dollar Tree lemon plates as like decor as well so maybe even installing like one of these over there somehow someway maybe actually putting some greenery and I'm gonna probably use the other three as actual drink drink cups because I think it's so incredibly adorable and it makes I wonder like if there's anything else in this collection I don't there's not a name of who the maker is so if you just happen to know let me know but it doesn't say what this brand is at all just has a TJ Maxx ticker at the bottom so that's it the other two
