set them apart from other companies was the band that they made not the actual watch people would say that they wish they just had the band for their own watch and not their actual watch due to this have loved so let's start off with the problem that most of you guys that wear Apple watches have and that is there's not enough sizing options on Apple watch bands look at that that's probably seven or eight holes and we wanted to find a way to fix that so we at lunar decided that we were going to engineer a watchband that had more sizing options than any other watch band on the market today case in point more sizing options more happy people so how it works is you take the band which is made out of a synthetic silicone and our Buckle which is made out of a polycarbonate plastic both are meant to be breathable and Aid materials hence forth as you insert it in here our locking mechanism which is patented allows for the band to slide in with ease you push the lever down and it locks into place guess what if that's too tight that's fine you can loosen it just like that if you want to make it tighter just tighten it just like that and it fits perfectly tailored to your wrist let's go see how this stuff is made though I can talk about it but let's go see how it's made so the machine that we're coming to right now is called an injection molding machine and we have a mold that we put inside this machine now this mold that I'm talking about is probably about 12 in x 12 in it's really small but what's funny is it goes into this giant machine and comes out like this this giant machine allows me to put in whatever material that I want whatever types of synthetic silicon into here and then using our mold it suppresses it with this giant giant like arm and crushes the silicone and pushes it in and pounds it in to the point where it forms this under tight heated pressure pretty cool so the next place that we're going to is we're going to show you a little bit more about some of the bands and after they've been made what they look like okay come follow me let's see what's behind this door all right let's go down the lawn dark creepy hallway around all right so in here this is a good example of what our mold looks like this is the bottom and this is the top and what it ends up turning into is a beautiful watch band you cannot emphasize enough how much Manpower and grit
