Gigabyte Brix Pro unboxing GB-BXi5-4570R GB-BXi7-4770R

Unboxing the Gigabyte Mini PC with Iris Pro Graphics

As I sit here with my Gigabyte mini PC, also known as the "gigabyte bricks pro," I thought it would be a great idea to do a quick unboxing video. It seems that no one has done this before, which is quite odd considering how popular these mini PCs are. However, I'm excited to share my first impressions of this device and show you what's inside the box.

The Box

As I open the box, I can see that it's in red, but I'm told that they also come in black and yellow. Unfortunately, the color I have is the only one available at the time of purchase. The box itself is quite simple, but it's clear that Gigabyte has put some thought into the packaging. There's a Quick Start Guide inside, which will be helpful for those who are new to building their own mini PCs.

The Unit Itself

Now, let's take a closer look at the unit itself. As I lift the lid, I can see the device in all its glory. The Gigabyte mini PC is quite small, but it's also quite heavy considering its size. However, this might be due to the copper heat sink that's been used in its construction. It's clear that Gigabyte has paid attention to detail when it comes to design and build quality.

The Power Brick

Next to the unit, I have the power brick, which is quite large despite being thin. The Mickey Mouse-type plug on the front of the power brick is an interesting touch, and it's clear that Gigabyte wants its products to stand out from the crowd. However, the weight of the power brick is surprising, especially considering how small the unit itself is.

The Unit's Features

Now, let's take a closer look at the unit's features. As I can see, there are two USB 3 ports on the front, as well as an audio jack and power buttons on the top. The back of the unit has a variety of ports, including HDMI, DisplayPort, and network connectivity. There's also a fan inside the unit, which should help to keep things cool.

Getting the Unit Running

To get the unit running, I'll need to install a hard drive, either a mini SATA drive or a 2.5-inch SATA drive. Gigabyte recommends using RAM that's compatible with 1.35V, so it won't work with 1.5V. That's all for now - in my next video, I'll open up the unit and show you what's inside.

Closing Thoughts

That's it for this quick unboxing video of the Gigabyte mini PC with Iris Pro graphics. It's clear that Gigabyte has put a lot of thought into its design and build quality, and I'm excited to see how this device performs in real-world use. Whether you're looking for a compact desktop PC or a media center, the Gigabyte mini PC is definitely worth considering. Thanks for watching!
