Motorola Edge + Worth it Hands On Impressions _ iGyaan _ 4K

The Motorola Moto H Plus is a flagship device that has turned out to deliver impressive camera capabilities. The phone's camera features, such as spot color and cinemagraph, work well and are consistent with Motorola devices. The full Pro Mode allows for 108-megapixel shots, while the dedicated macro mode is perfect for capturing high-quality macro photography.

One of the standout features of the Moto H Plus is its massive 5000 milliampere-hour battery. This means that users can go for nearly two days without needing to recharge the device. Additionally, the phone supports Motorola's Turbo Charging technology, which allows for fast charging. The 18-watt charger may be slower than some other devices, but the large battery size makes up for it. Furthermore, the Moto H Plus also supports 15-watt wireless charging and reverse wireless charging at 5 watts.

However, there are a few areas where the phone falls short. One of these is in its charging speed. The 18-watt charger may not be as fast as some other devices, but the large battery size makes up for it. Furthermore, Motorola's Turbo Charging technology may not be as efficient as some other fast-charging technologies available on the market.

In terms of price, the Moto H Plus is positioned in a premium segment of the Indian market. It is more expensive than the OnePlus 8 Pro, but less expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, including the ultra and the S20 plus. This makes it an attractive option for users looking for a high-end device without breaking the bank.

Motorola's brand value also plays a significant role in this flagship device. The phone has been designed and engineered in the US of A by Motorola's headquarters in Chicago. This attention to detail and commitment to quality is reflected in the phone's design and hardware.

The Moto H Plus is also water-repellent, thanks to its nano coating. While it does not have an IP rating, this feature makes it resistant to accidental drops in water. Furthermore, the phone has a gorgeous display with fast refresh rates, making it perfect for gaming and other high-performance applications.

In terms of hardware, the Moto H Plus boasts impressive specs, including 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. This makes it suitable for users who need a lot of storage space and want to run multiple applications simultaneously. The phone also has a headphone jack and good speakers, making it perfect for music lovers.

Overall, the Motorola Moto H Plus is a flagship device that offers a great balance of hardware and software features. With its impressive camera capabilities, fast charging technology, and large battery size, it is an attractive option for users looking for a high-end device without breaking the bank. Whether you're interested in photography, gaming, or just want a premium device with good specs, the Moto H Plus is definitely worth considering.

As of now, there are not many flagships available in India, and the Moto H Plus slots into this premium segment. With its impressive features and competitive pricing, it offers a great alternative to other flagship devices on the market. "WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enever since the demise of HTC the flagship tiered market in India especially has been sort of contained and held by Samsung and a few phones from Huawei here and there but Huawei has never been able to penetrate the flagship market on the Android side of things so Samsung and Apple have more or less kept that market space now after a really long time motorola has come back into the limelight and has launched a flagship phone and I've been testing this phone for about a week and here are my thoughts on the new Moto H plus so let's quickly get started now it's not every day that Motorola launches a flagship phone and it is not every day that Motorola brings it to India it's been quite a few years since we've seen a flagship phone from the company in India if you go back a couple years Motorola was one of the strongest names in the market but because of their success on the G series of smartphones which were usually priced really low and were competing in the 10 to 20,000 degree price bracket Motorola got a name for having budget smartphones hence they didn't focus on the premium market that much and a flagship phone from the company was rarely ever seen the Moto H + changes that perception considerably not only do I think that it's a premium flagship device but I feel that it fills in a lot of blanks that a lot of other manufacturers tend to leave out now let's get one thing out of the way the Moto edge+ is priced at seventy four thousand nine ninety nine at that price it is considered to be a premium device it is considered to be for some people an expensive device you can actually get it for as low as sixty seven five hundred if you use the cash back offers that are available for both online as well as offline purchases at a price of sixty seven thousand five hundred with the kind of specifications the phone has I think that the price is more or less justified for the Moto H plus and in this video I will talk about some of the reasons why I really like this phone and some of the reasons that I don't the highlight of the phone the Moto H plus is the display it's a six point seven inch display and it has a 21 St 9 aspect ratio this also allows the phone to have this thin and really comfortable form factor now you have 90-degree edges on both sides of the phone and not only do they look good on the device but they're also considerably useful one of the biggest uses I found for the Moto H pluses edge display is the fact that you can put trigger buttons on the edge and hence have a gaming phone in your hand you can customize these trigger buttons for the game that you are using for example if you're playing pub G you can have trigger buttons assigned to certain buttons on the game and use it as trigger buttons or physical trigger buttons that you would have on a gaming phone this is one of the coolest uses of the edge display motorola could have done and they've executed it flawlessly and it works really well you also have the ability to pull down the notification panel or pull up your app drawer these are really cool and a flick of a finger you can easily use the phone one-handed you can also pull out shortcuts of which they have added in the edge display something that we have seen on Samsung devices also in the past now speaking of Samsung devices Samsung Galaxy S 20 altra and s 20 plus have a maximum screen to body ratio of about eighty nine point nine percent whereas the Moto H plus has in 93 percent screen to body ratio and that's thanks to this 90-degree curve and almost negligible for head and chin so you get better screen real estate as far as the device or the display is concerned Samsung possibly makes the AMOLED display for Motorola but the display on this looks exceptional it's got really good contrast really good brightness and is visible at all angles you do see a little bit of darkening if you completely turn it to the side but overall the display is really nice and once you're holding the phone it looks really impressive now another thing that no other flagship has this time around is a 3.5 mm headphone jack the Moto H Plus continues to have that but more importantly it also has the audio tuned by waves audio and you also have impressive stereo speakers on this one of the loudest that we've heard in over a while and then the 3.5 mm jack was also amplified so you get really good audio from the headphone jack as well as from the stereo speaker so if you are gaming you don't have your headphones you won't mind the on both speakers because the stereo sound is really loud even in noisy environments another thing that's on the inside of the phone is the qualcomm snapdragon 865 chipset now this is a flagship chipset so if you look at the samsung galaxy s 20 plus it's priced at around 77 thousand rupees this is priced at 70 for $9.99 and you also get the cash back so if we just look at the cost price or the MRP this is a few thousand rupees cheaper but it offers you the 865 chipset if you look at the s20 ultra that's in the ninety thousand degree price bracket so definitely a big price advantage if you would look at the moto edge+ another thing that this does have is a lot more 5g bands are available globally now granted india's 5g network is is nowhere near possibly a few years at best but the fact that this phone has most of the Bands unlocked means that whenever 5g auctions happen in India whatever band will be allowed for Indian 5g networks this phone will support it out of the box so if you buy this phone today for the next couple of years if that's something that you're looking at then this will support basically all 5g bands and globally it already supports all 5d bands and it has the most unlocked network bands of any phone that is being sold with 5g today another thing that Motorola has done is put in lots of RAM lots of storage so you get 12 gigabyte of gddr5 Ram as standard you get 256 gigabyte of UF s3 storage as standard and Motorola is also enable something called moto turbo right which also gives you speeds of up to 800 M ApS which means that you can really write those high resolution video files and you can really transfer media from your device and to your device really quickly because of the turbo right moto technology and it's available throughout it's not something specific that they use it for it is in the device and whether you're transferring file saving files capturing video any of those things the storage is running at maximum capacity now one of the biggest highlights for Motorola is the use of stock Android and it comes with Android 10 out of the box or most other flagships if you look at them they have some or the other skin on there motorola gives you completely stock Android and hence there now promising to upgrades to Android 12 minimum and then whatever else they do after that so like I said a few years you will continue to get updates it is unlocked with all bands if you decide to buy this phone today will be good for a few years if that's what you're aiming for with respect to the usability of the phone the UI is super smooth super simple because of the 90 Hertz to display the usage experience is that much better it's completely stock so it is definitely getting that advantage of stock Android because the hardware works really well with stock Android and because there are no skins there is no bloatware it works completely flawlessly and smooth and the overall usage experience is also really good being completely stock another thing that Motorola does continue to do is add the one single moto app that allows you to customize a few things and you can easily disable them if you don't want them so you can customize the edge and the way the edge lighting works and so if you're charging your phone you get a light around the edge if you get a notification you get a light around the edge this can be used as a notification LED or a notification bar and then you can also customize how it turns on when it turns on so whether you want the light on only when the phone is upside-down or whether you want on all the time all of these things can be configured from the moto app you also continue to get your usual things that Motorola offers including the double chop to turn on the flashlight if that's something that you like to use you can also twist to bring out the camera and all the moto actions that you've used in the past are available on this device now cameras are another major thing that I really like about the Moto H Plus now it's got a 108 megapixel primary camera which is an F 1.8 sensor now this is comparable to many other 108 megapixel sensors out there if you're looking at Samsung only the s20 ultra has it and it goes into a much higher price bracket like I mentioned like ninety thousand and if you go to like the oneplus 8 pro it doesn't offer a hundred and eight megapixel sensors if you really want to enjoy those high resolution images the 108 megapixel sensor is on this device it's tuned really well Motorola's image processing is really good and for this you get really good images out of the box you also have a 16 megapixel ultra wide sensor which also doubles up as a macro which means that if you decide to take macro shots which a lot of people have got into since the availability of macro cameras the 16 megapixel camera will give you 16 megapixel macro shots versus the 2 megapixel or the four megapixel that you see on other devices so that is a definite advantage so you're getting three camera senses at the back primarily and then you also have a time-of-flight sensor so a total of four camera sensors and a time-of-flight sensor you also have a telephoto sensor on there so it's a good combination of cameras whether you want high resolution images standard images wide images macro images or telephoto images you get all of those in just three cameras and then you also have a depth sensor that a good amount of depth information to give you that natural looking Booker portrait shots are really good on the main cameras as well as the front camera and the main camera also captures 6k video also get fokin we do recording with ultra smooth video stabilization you also get portrait video shooting capabilities and it works really well out of the box on this phone we gave it a quick test and it works really well the microphone also picks up the audio on video surprisingly well and the speakers are really loud so when you play back your video you get to hear a really immersive experience from the video that you shot overall as far as camera capability is concerned we want to take it for a full run but for now it seems like this phone is really turning out to deliver in terms of camera capabilities you still continue get the Motorola app so you have features like spot color or cinemagraph that has been consistent for Motorola devices and it works that much better you also get a full Pro Mode you get a hundred and eight megapixel mode that allows you to capture their 108 megapixel shots you also get a dedicated macro mode for your macro photography another that big aspect of this phone is the 5,000 milliamp hour battery that comes on this device it also supports Motorola's turbo charging and then you can also do reverse wireless charging and it also supports 15 watt wireless charging as well now here is the thing that I sort of like dislike the good thing is that you have a five thousand milliamp hour battery so for mostly two days you don't really need to charge this device if you are rich too heavy user but because of the motor turbo power being at only 18 watts it takes us fairly long time to charge this phone but the fact that you only have to charge it once in two days means that you won't constantly need to plug this device in so the 18 watt charger kind of works I would have liked to see a slightly faster charge or maybe a 30 watt charger for charging up this phone but 18 watts for the timing seems ok because the battery is so much bigger it also supports 15 watt wireless charging like I mentioned and reverse wireless charging is at 5 watts which I think should be at 10 watts but maybe it's a hardware limitation but if they can I wish motorola does unlock it and that can get a 10 watt output from the reverse wireless charging that will allow devices that do support faster wireless charging like an iPhone or me 10 or something like that to get faster charges from the Moto H plus now there are not a lot of flagships available in India there are a lot of budget flagship devices you get the meet and you get the oneplus 8 Pro and one plus eight of course you also get higher-end flashes like the Samsung Galaxy S twenty series including the ultra and the S 20 plus this phone sort of slots in somewhere in the middle it is slightly more expensive when compared to the one plus eight pro twelve gigabyte of RAM and 256 gigabyte of storage it is cheaper than the samsung galaxy s 20 plus and a lot cheaper than the S 20 ultra so it slots in at a premium segment in the country and this is a premium device you get Motorola's brand value it has been designed and engineered in the US of A AD Motorola's headquarters in Chicago so all of that sort of puts a different perspective on to Motorola people have constantly expected cheaper phones from Motorola and this flagship truly falls into a different domain it is also water repellent not water resistant something that I would have liked to see at this price point I really like to see an IP rating on this phone it doesn't have it but it does have the nano coating so it is water repellent it won't get damaged if you accidentally drop it in some water and you can quickly grab it out of there so with that respect it is a gorgeous looking phone where the really good hardware motorola is going all out this time so you're not I'm not complaining about anything the display looks amazing it's got fast refresh rates we've got really good cameras we've got really good hardware on the inside with massive DRAM and storage we've got a really good headphone jack we've got really good speakers we've got a massive battery and somewhat of fast charging to go with it so with comparison to many of the other phones that are out there in the market this falls into a really sweet spot where it gives you so much more and is not that much expensive when you compare it to what is available in the market so the 8 CC 8 component carriers which allows for the maximum number of bands it's been designed and refined really well it works really well it's got the stock Android user interface apart from the few things that I dislike about this phone it grew flagship experience from a really good company that hasn't brought a flagship for a while now if you are interested I'll leave a link to buying this in the description below we will be doing a full review of the Moto H plus in the coming days so if you have any questions or queries for that you can drop those in the comment section below if you like this video don't forget to smash the like button hit the subscribe button if you're not already a part of TMI again there's been better thank you guys for watching I'll see you in the next oneever since the demise of HTC the flagship tiered
