The AYANEO SLIDE Is Almost Here! Are You Excited about This New Handheld

The IONEO Slide: A Handheld Gaming Device with a Twist

Recently, IONEO released some information about their upcoming handheld gaming device, which has generated a lot of interest among gamers and tech enthusiasts. As someone who's been following the development of this project, I wanted to share my thoughts and insights about what we can expect from this device.

According to IONEO, the Slide will be powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 7800U processor, which is a significant upgrade from the original Ryzen 7 6800U. The new chip comes with Zen 4 architecture and RDNA3 graphics, providing a nice bump in performance. However, we're not exactly sure of the maximum TDP that will be available on this device out of the box, but it's likely to be around 20-25 watts.

One of the most notable features of the Slide is its keyboard. IONEO has chosen to use metal dome keys or switches underneath the keyboard, which are backlit and offer full RGB customization. This feature is expected to bring a significant upgrade in terms of gaming experience and responsiveness. The keyboard layout will be standard QWERTY, making it easily accessible for users.

Another notable feature of the Slide is its display. It boasts a 6-inch IPS screen with 85% DCI-P3 color gamut and 120Hz refresh rate. While this won't match the brightness of some high-end gaming monitors, it will provide a crisp and vibrant visual experience. The display also features adjustable angle, making it easy to play games in different orientations.

IONEO has also confirmed that the Slide will come with a micro SD card slot, supporting SD 7.0 cards, which are some of the fastest storage options available. This feature allows users to expand their storage capacity without having to rely on cloud storage or external devices.

X-Axis Linear Motor for Haptics

The Slide also features an x-axis linear motor, which provides good haptic feedback and immersion. While we don't have any information on the specifications of this motor, IONEO has confirmed that it will be used to enhance the gaming experience.

Dual Stereo Speakers with Hyper Sound System

IONEO's new Hyper Sound system is expected to provide a significant upgrade in terms of audio quality. The Slide features dual stereo speakers, which will provide an immersive and engaging audio experience. While we don't have any information on the specifications of this system, IONEO has confirmed that it will be used to enhance the overall gaming experience.

Battery Life

One of the most significant concerns with handheld devices is battery life. IONEO has addressed this by confirming that the Slide will come with a 46.2 watt-hour battery. This is a relatively large battery for a device of its size, which should provide decent battery life and allow users to play games on the go without worrying about running out of power.

Conclusion

The IONEO Slide seems like an exciting new addition to the handheld gaming market. With its powerful Ryzen 7 7800U processor, customizable RGB keyboard, and impressive display, it has all the ingredients to provide a great gaming experience. While we don't have any information on the release date or pricing yet, IONEO's recent teaser suggests that this device will be available soon. If you're in the market for a new handheld device or are just looking for something interesting to consider, the Slide is definitely worth keeping an eye on.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey what's going on everybody it's ETA Prime back here again this is going to be kind of a quick one but recently we got a lot of new information on the upcoming Aya Neo slide if you're not familiar with this upcoming handheld basically we've got a slide up screen here with a qwerty keyboard underneath and back when I and Neo first announced this or you know they put out their first kind of teaser on this handheld it was going to be powered by the ryzen 7 6800u but since then everything's been upgraded to 7 000 so we're gonna get that ryzen 77840u nice little bump in performance we have Zen 4 course and rdna3 Graphics now I think it looks great I definitely want to test one out but recently they did release a ton of information about the upcoming slide and in this video I kind of just wanted to go over that information and see if this was something that everybody would be interested in picking up or not okay so first things first like I mentioned this is going to be powered by that ryzen 77840u we're not exactly sure of the maximum TDP that they're gonna have this set up out of the box at but recently on the channel I tested out the Aya Neo air1s which has that same chip and we could go up to 20 watts there from ispace too so I think we're going to be up there around 20 25 watts with this setup not too bad it's going to have two USB 4 ports a 2280 m.2 pcie 4.0 SSD so we can definitely upgrade the storage on this a lot cheaper than we could with let's say the steam deck or the Rog Ally those use a 2230 those drives can get quite expensive and the largest that I've seen with those 2230s is 2 terabyte but remember with the slide we also have a micro SD card slot it's SD 7.0 so it's one of the fastest that we've seen so far six inch 1080p IPS display 85 percent DCI P3 120 srgb so it will be a little over saturated which is something I personally like up to 400 nits of brightness and 368 pixels per inch so it's a pretty dense little six inch display I think it'll look really good plus once we slide it out it's got an adjustable Angle now obviously one of the main draws to the slide for a lot of people is going to be that qwerty keyboard This is actually using metal Dome keys or metal Dome switches underneath and it is backlit but it's not just the single color its full RGB and we'll be able to control this from ispace 2. I think this is going to be really cool when it comes to the built-in game controls we've got Hull based analog sticks and Hull based triggers and just like all of the newer in Neo devices we've also got some RGB around those analog sticks now to me they definitely look like the smaller kind of switch sized analog sticks given that we're only working with a six inch display but we don't have to worry about drift or anything like that because they are Hull based as I'm making this video we only know of two different color variants that they'll be offering they may have a special edition they usually kind of throw one special edition out there but we've got white and black right now personally I think the white looks really good x-axis linear motor for some good haptics and a six axis gyro dual stereo speakers and this is utilizing ieneo's new hyper sound system which is actually really loud and super clean and at the time I'm making this video over on their website they do have these slides that we've been taking a look at none of them mentioned the battery but if you head over to their official YouTube YouTube channel for the teaser in the description there it says it's going to have a 46.2 watt hour battery and if this is true that's a pretty big battery for a smaller six inch handheld like this and we should see some pretty decent battery life so yeah what they've showed off so far about the slide looks really intriguing and I'm super interested in checking this thing out and we've seen a lot of the 7840u handheld so far we've got a good idea of how they're going to perform at different wattages we will see some great performance out of this as long as we can go over that 15 watt threshold and with a 46.2 watt hour battery I'd say 18 watts should net us some decent battery life along with some great gameplay but the main reason I wanted to make this quick video was to kind of get your thoughts on this is this something that you'd be interested in are you in the market for a slide up screen with a qwerty keyboard under it or are you just going to wait for something else down the road let me know your thoughts about the ioneo slide in the comments below and if you want to stay up to date I will leave a link in the description to ieneo's website but that's going to wrap it up for this one like always days thanks for watchinghey what's going on everybody it's ETA Prime back here again this is going to be kind of a quick one but recently we got a lot of new information on the upcoming Aya Neo slide if you're not familiar with this upcoming handheld basically we've got a slide up screen here with a qwerty keyboard underneath and back when I and Neo first announced this or you know they put out their first kind of teaser on this handheld it was going to be powered by the ryzen 7 6800u but since then everything's been upgraded to 7 000 so we're gonna get that ryzen 77840u nice little bump in performance we have Zen 4 course and rdna3 Graphics now I think it looks great I definitely want to test one out but recently they did release a ton of information about the upcoming slide and in this video I kind of just wanted to go over that information and see if this was something that everybody would be interested in picking up or not okay so first things first like I mentioned this is going to be powered by that ryzen 77840u we're not exactly sure of the maximum TDP that they're gonna have this set up out of the box at but recently on the channel I tested out the Aya Neo air1s which has that same chip and we could go up to 20 watts there from ispace too so I think we're going to be up there around 20 25 watts with this setup not too bad it's going to have two USB 4 ports a 2280 m.2 pcie 4.0 SSD so we can definitely upgrade the storage on this a lot cheaper than we could with let's say the steam deck or the Rog Ally those use a 2230 those drives can get quite expensive and the largest that I've seen with those 2230s is 2 terabyte but remember with the slide we also have a micro SD card slot it's SD 7.0 so it's one of the fastest that we've seen so far six inch 1080p IPS display 85 percent DCI P3 120 srgb so it will be a little over saturated which is something I personally like up to 400 nits of brightness and 368 pixels per inch so it's a pretty dense little six inch display I think it'll look really good plus once we slide it out it's got an adjustable Angle now obviously one of the main draws to the slide for a lot of people is going to be that qwerty keyboard This is actually using metal Dome keys or metal Dome switches underneath and it is backlit but it's not just the single color its full RGB and we'll be able to control this from ispace 2.
