We're running out of TJ's that's for sure were there a lot of these of you twelves men mm-hmm there's enough okay there were thousands of them made yes okay the wild thing is is I took the 2jz out of this car and sold it for double what the v12 cost me to buy these engines are still actually pretty cheap now that I've said that the price is probably gonna go exactly they're not expensive to get you know so it's it's an economical thing to do yeah you set the shipping through the pan yeah that's right and then put all the things on them to make him gay well be wild love to hear that once it's done yeah that's what I'm looking forward to most is just that engine note mm-hmm there's a couple cars outside to check out look we got all rode in the corner on the dyno from the dining room here yeah are all track sorry we reminisce the celica GT full this is the group a model so it came factory with what it's where intercooling and a different turbo and stuff like that this is a collector car it's not being raced or anything like that there's a beautiful example there getting really rare to see these days so it's nice to see oh this definitely deserves a mention as well once again one of my staff thought hey you six but with an SR 20 conversion this I mean you can see straight away a lot of efforts been put into the engine it's running a Garrett GTX turbo as well ethanol the surprising thing about this car is despite the fact you look at it and it's got different colored panels and it's got holes drilled in it all over the place the electronics in this car above and beyond anything we've got in this entire workshop really Motech PDM and amp Tron k v8 engine management and lots of cool gear in there so he's really setting the foundation for a car that can have some very intelligent traction control and and management a motorsport nobody doesn't like in our 34 GTO right are the reporters once again not a race Wars car but another cool one to look at you're looking pretty this one will definitely see race walls next year I think this is another thing we've been doing for a fair while which is taking the 3 liter sorry the Petraeus GT 2 litre 4-cylinder out and putting in a 3 liter v6 so oh they're little valve cover in their hand weird thing I've ever seen a v6 swap one of these right it's it's done a little bit here and there but it's not super common because it's a bit of work so this is the same capacity as the 2j said and honestly we can get similar talking power out of them as we can or 2j said it's actually from a Camry but we strip it apart we Forge it we make it strong off we go this does make for super exciting mr2 is honestly a little on the dangerous side of things person more twerk than normal you know with mr two's having such a tendency to slip please spin around no short wheelbase straight line yeah they're not the predictable cars have a lot of power in sir and now the booster boys are doing wheelies on down the track in yeah you guys have quite the lineup here cars coming I'm looking forward to seeing what else shows up a race horse it's gonna be definitely the best year yet this and strong competition and some really awesome cows hopefully and appreciate you coming down good to meet you we'll see you the track see ya well

this this is a fan favorite it's one fits Alika salika or Celica as we call him yeah yeah the highlighter yeah it is pretty fluorescent he says yellow I say green whatever make up your mind one day said conversion of course barely fits in there barely fits in there it's really tight squeeze if you don't do any maintenance it's a it's a bit of a pain in the butt but you know horsepower running ethanol of course still ladies hard white car that's right as well under a thousand kilos basically push that turbo to as much boost as it will put out 30 something pounds and it's doing 500 horsepower to the wheels from memory makes a pretty quick powder white it's incredible this one we had J rods car holy crap ironically enough I wore our new shirt that we just came out with that has this car on the back of it and there's one sitting right here this is built with real Street internals GD X 47 turbo we've pushed this thing pretty hard we've seen the best of just over 1,200 horsepower oops damn it's racing was cut short last year because of the problems at the train in the 800 meter at did 318 and that meters and we're going 2,800 meters and that was without using the nitrous to spool deserve off the line either it was a gentle takeoff so we're very hopeful that this can be up the tippy top and on the thousand meters this year hmm and hopefully do some you know 300 is 80 240 322 is the magic number that's 200 miles an hour everyone wants to have a problem that's gonna be no problem in the 800 even more than that mean thousand I'm sure that the plate is very true this thing hopefully come serve it up well on video it is just mint it's beautiful more supers precess kilowatts yellow cloth it's pretty famous because it's been gone to a fair few race was it's been a different color every time I think we've seen a sort of chameleon color we called it the peacock back then it came as a candy red this yellow thing here this was a fast one as well it went 318 as well on a thousand-meter sadly it's not going to race wars with us ECU because it hasn't got all the safety gear because they've really upped the rigs the in terms of what we need in parachutes and cages and stuff like that so this whole the half miles about comment then - it's getting scarier with how fast these cars are going right so maybe we'll see this one out there again but not this year unfortunate ok it's an awesome car yeah beautiful paint job this one got milk where's got milk come from only milk and juice comes in two liters right when this thing's flying past them have you got milk so this is still a 2 litre Toyota Motor Lowe people when they see this thing go it's obviously a K 20 or a K 24 the conversion or something no this is still a 3 s GTE I'll be very very modified this is built by my mechanic Cowan so he's done everything you see in here the variation of the manifolds and the engine building and and wiring and everything's done himself as a fluke or just kind of looks really good so far we've seen a best of 880 horsepower out of this one it does have more to go that's a perfect amount of power in these things it seems like perfect yeah maybe launching into orbit yes yes and sequential it's still running a standard transmission facings pretty tough day between plate clutch gotcha it's only is a sequential looking shifter at least it's just but no still standard standard driveline just with upgraded CV joints these things are pretty tough it hasn't broken yet so we'll see how this goes this year hopefully it can get past the 300 mark pretty easy and then maybe next year we put a proper turbo on and crack a thousand horsepower but these things are really good I don't know if it's been discovered over in the States but aerodynamically these things are really impressive a couple of years ago we took one down with just 500 horsepower at the wheels and it did 290 k's an hour on the on the thousand it was beating cars with 300 horsepower more real they just slide through the air so well really light yeah they really like they're really aerodynamically efficient they've got a very small cross-section so as far as doing these long drag races ago I think Emmitt is underappreciated some people should be building more of these superlight - yeah super like this one this I really like this guy because not many people go to effort on these an upper body style yeah they don't get a lot of love mostly because the transmission they came with is junk with that sequential semi automatic crap and the engines didn't make much power they literally took an engine out of the crawler not even the good Corolla that the crappy Corolla stuck it into this and said here's a sports car it's not a sports car it's a Corolla with the engine in the other end but we fixed it you know it's got a proper manual with a with a clutch pedal in it now that's running forward to the internals Garret GTX turbocharged Altec computer some nice water to air in schooling and this thing is just shy of 400 horsepower at the wheels now as opposed to the standard Corolla motor which did about 100 say about a 400% increase and it's a quick car it weighs literally one zero zero zero one thousand kilos of 2,200 pounds just over 2,000 pounds yes that's same power away you feel like sure super this doing at least six hundred almost bad but then you turn and it goes around the corner so and then you get out of it's not a super and lucky lost this is not race was 2020 this is race was 2021 or 2022 it's one that I'm building for myself so we've got there's a little there's a few too many soldiers and that's on both sides this is Toyota's one gzf a v12 bunch of people really don't even know this exists but Toyota did make a v12 from 1996 onwards it's all aluminium quad cam VVT it's a good modern motor and as five liters problem is it's really hard to fit them into things so what it come out of its at Otis century so it was like a residential using and what's what blows my mind is they developed this almost supercar level sort of engine and that they only car they put it in was a limousine which never got exported out of Japan I think what a waste imagine if supers have v12s in them and we're competing with Lambos out of the factory and stuff like that top speed didn't want like this doesn't their top secret or top secret that's top secret oh yes good one in Japan that would have been well spent a lot of years aside 20 years ago they build that thing so they did it by dry something it so that would fit into the Supra because there's something that the oil pump and pan or all these and don't really fit into us crash I see very nicely so they dry some that they forged it they put a couple of hatch cares turbos on it and they made a good thousand horsepower but what are your goals would look so I mean this conversion has been done one or two times since by other people as well but it's not common my goal was to start again do it to modern standards but do it in such a way where the engine would drop in in a friendly way so no dry-sump sore anything like that we want to redesign those parts so that it's like here you go here's a v12 bump straight into a super chassis off you go because I think these engines have a lot of potential and I think people could have a lot of fun with them if only they fit into supras so you know we've been designing parts to that end such as this stuff so this is this has been a project for the last few months just designing a sump where we could take the old one off bolt this one on and the engine were just exactly where we wanted it in the engine bay now we're working on engine mounts and valve covers and intake manifold and the end goal with it is to produce well over a thousand horsepower but with that five liters have nice turbo response and make it like a car that's not a ridiculous drag car something that drives like a normal car but also puts out 1,000 plus horsepower to
