It's Tuesday, June 27th, and We've Been Playing Around with Yet Another New Android Phone: The Honor Nine
The latest addition to our test lab is the honor nine, which appears to have ties to Huawei. Despite its complicated origins, there are plenty of things to like about this new phone.
One of the standout features of the honor nine is its sleek and stylish design, courtesy of its glass body. It's made of a special type of glass that's both tough and transparent – and the manufacturer has included a transparent case in the box with the phone as a nod to current trends. We appreciate this attention to detail and can't wait to see how it holds up in our tests.
When it comes to specs, the honor nine is certainly packing a punch. The phone boasts a full high-definition screen, 4GB of RAM, and a 3200 milliamp battery – making it an attractive option for those looking for a solid mid-range device. On the back of the phone, we find not one but two camera lenses: a dedicated 120-megapixel black-and-white camera and a color-capable lens that can shoot 12-megapixel images. The best part? These two systems work together seamlessly to produce stunning pro-grade portrait photos.
We're still putting the honor nine through its paces, so we'll have more on this device in the coming days. One thing to note is that the phone is not currently available for purchase in the US – although it's possible that may change at any moment. In the meantime, if you want to stay up-to-date with our latest tests and impressions, be sure to check out our video.
A Blast from the Past: The Upcoming Super NES Classic
For those who grew up playing classic Nintendo games, news of the upcoming Super NES Classic is music to their ears. As some may recall, the original NES Classic was released last year – but it seems like there's a catch: the console itself has become somewhat notorious for its tendency to overheat and malfunction.
However, according to reliable sources, this time around Nintendo has addressed these issues and come up with a new design that should prevent similar problems. The Super NES Classic is set to launch on September 29th, and it'll cost a whopping $80 – but trust us, it's worth every penny.
The console will feature an impressive lineup of 21 games, including some fan favorites like Super Mario Kart, Earthbound, and Zelda: A Link to the Past. But what really sets this release apart is the inclusion of Star Fox 2 – a game that was completed over 20 years ago but never got released due to development delays.
It's worth noting that the original PlayStation was already an established player in the market when Star Fox 2 was first conceived, so it never made it onto store shelves. However, with the release of the Super NES Classic, gamers will finally have the chance to experience this cult classic for themselves.
Other News: The Upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is set to arrive this fall – and our friends at BG Art say that reliable sources have provided us with some juicy details on its specs. According to these sources, the phone will boast a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED screen, 6GB of RAM, and a variety of possible CPU options.
One feature that's definitely on the radar is an updated S Pen stylus – which promises to be even more responsive and precise than before. The phone will also feature dual 12-megapixel cameras on the back, as well as a massive 3300 milliamp battery to keep things running all day long.
As for pricing, it seems like the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is going to be expensive – with prices that are close to $1000. However, given the impressive specs and features of this device, we can't help but feel that it's worth every penny.
