The Future of Apple's Hey Siri Feature and AirPods

Bloomberg recently reported on the current state of Apple's Siri feature, specifically with regards to AirPods. According to the report, the traditional method of activating Siri using AirPods requires holding them in place, which can be inconvenient for users. However, it appears that future AirPods models will boast a new "Hey Siri" feature, allowing users to activate the virtual assistant without having to physically hold their earbuds in place. This update promises to provide a more convenient and seamless user experience.

Furthermore, Bloomberg reported on potential updates to Apple's AirPods lineup, including the possible adoption of the W1 chip found in the Apple Watch Series 3. If implemented, this technology could lead to improved efficiency, longer battery life, and potentially even better sound quality for future AirPods models. While exact details are scarce, these updates suggest that Apple is committed to continuous innovation and improvement.

Water Resistance on Future AirPods

In a separate development, Bloomberg reported that water resistance will become a standard feature on future AirPods models. Although current AirPods have shown signs of being water-resistant in certain situations, the company plans to provide official certification for this aspect in the near future. This move promises to give users greater peace of mind when it comes to protecting their earbuds from accidental exposure to water.

However, a more concerning development is the fact that any iPhone model up to iOS 11 can be hacked by companies like Cellebrite. These hackers have gained notoriety for their ability to unlock iPhones, including the San Bernardino case where Apple refused to provide law enforcement with the necessary keys. While this is unlikely to affect users of newer iPhone models, it serves as a reminder that even the latest devices are not immune to vulnerabilities.

Nokia Revives Classic Phones

In a surprising move, Nokia has announced plans to release another classic phone model with modern twists. The company's latest creation is reminiscent of the iconic 3310 and 8810, featuring a design inspired by these retro models. Although it is unclear whether this device will be released in other markets beyond Europe, the inclusion of modern features such as microphones and a keyboard promises to make it an attractive option for users looking for a unique smartphone experience.

Snapchat Update Controversy

In recent days, Snapchat has faced widespread criticism over its latest updates. Many users have expressed frustration with the new design changes, which seem to prioritize aesthetics over functionality. According to Kylie Jenner, who recently spoke out against the updates, she too is struggling to adjust to the new layout. The backlash has had a significant impact on Snapchat's stock price, with some estimates suggesting that the company lost up to $1.3 billion in value.

Snapchat's Response and Future Updates

In response to user feedback, Snapchat has announced plans to release an update that will filter the app into several tabs, including friend lists. This move promises to help users better navigate the updated interface and reestablish a sense of control over their experience on the platform. While it remains to be seen whether this update will be enough to rectify some of the issues plaguing the app, it is a step in the right direction for Snapchat.

AirPods Pro Release Date

Rumors are circulating that Apple's highly anticipated AirPods Pro model may be released as early as March. According to Macrumors, sources suggest that the company will release this new iteration of its wireless earbuds during their upcoming iPad event. While it is unclear whether this will ultimately happen, the possibility raises hopes among fans and critics alike.

AirPods Pro Pricing and Features

One rumor surrounding the AirPods Pro model is its potential pricing. Some sources estimate that the device could retail for around $200, making it a premium offering in Apple's earbuds lineup. While exact details are still scarce, the promise of deeper integration with iOS software and improved features such as wireless charging map technology promises to make this release event worth keeping an eye on.

Conclusion

As we continue to navigate the ever-changing landscape of tech and gadgets, it is essential to stay informed about the latest developments in these fields. From Apple's advancements in Siri and AirPods to Nokia's retro-inspired smartphones and Snapchat's controversies, there are numerous stories making headlines. By staying up-to-date on the latest news and rumors, fans and users can better prepare themselves for what's to come in the world of technology.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's up guys I've got a very exciting Apple update for you there is so much to talk about including the new iPhone 10 plus we've learned a lot about its its actual first component leaks have just happened the Apple over the ear headphones that are coming out later this year yeah new products to talk about as well as some very bad Apple news as well so let's get into the latest on Apple I also didn't want to mention I did get a new camera the Sony a7r 3 I'm using it for the first time today so bear with me leave me some feedback from doing something wrong I'm using it with Canon lenses right now so it's not perfect and I'm gonna be working with the tuning it's over the next few weeks so it would appreciate some feedback on that anyways guys let's get into it starting with the iPhone 210 plus the very first component leaked has happened and it is a digitizer and actual display so this is thanks to Mac 10 which apparently got this from a facility by LG and Vietnam as we learned earlier Apple is going to be using LG facilities to produce any organic LED displays for this year's iPhones and maybe the security wasn't as good as their previous ones because an actual picture of the Assembly of the iPhone 10 plus digitizer has leaked and it is truly gargantuan this thing is massive it's definitely got more room on the edges around the status bar up top the cutouts it's huge in comparison to the standard one at 6.5 inches diagonally across so you do get a lot more surface area on this display now whether or not this is legitimate is to be debated but it does have the Apple markings down below and there's another image where it actually shows the organic LED panels themselves so compared to the iPhone 10 this is certainly not an iPhone 10 organic LED display so this is very likely our first look at the iPhone 10 plus something interesting is that actually around the entire digitizer there's a very super slim bezel this may or may not reflect on how it'll actually look in real life but if the bezels would be this slim that would be incredible even though I do think it looks good right now and marca Germann of bloomberg has posted another massive article on the iPhone 10 plus and the iPhones coming out later this year and it gives us a lot more information from insiders actual specs to he's saying that the iPhone 10 plus is still happening of course and it'll be the largest smartphone ever from Apple and one of the largest on the market right now he says it will even be bigger than the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 which is quite the title to have also it will be a full inch diagonally larger than the current iPhone 8 plus although it'll have the same form factors so that'll be amazing he says that it will be a production workhorse basically for spreadsheets for emails for calendars you'll be able to use this thing to a iPad like potential almost you'll also be able to rotate it and get a lot of menus interfaces much like the iPhone 8 plus in landscape to take advantage of that larger screen size he calls it split screen app view he also says that this will be the upgrade that current iPhone 10 users will jump to because this year's regular iPhone 10 will be such a small upgrade from last year's there's really no incentive to go to that one but the iPhone 10 plus will have that larger screen size and usually as history has shown whenever Apple introduces a larger screen size I mean everybody just goes to it and droves and in particularly says that Asian markets love larger screens so this will be a huge hit in that area now an Insider actually working on this project has given the codename of this upcoming iPhone 10 plus and internally it is known as d-33 it'll also have a sharper resolution at 12:42 by 2688 pixels which is a step up from the iPhone tense but the sharpness will remain the same so although you're getting a larger resolution the sharpness itself will stay mostly the same as the iPhone 10 switch is still pretty awesome and one of the most exciting things I've heard is that the new iPhone 10 and 10 plus coming later this year by the way actually I forgot to mention they might be called iPhone 11 and 11 plus mark Berman did detail in his actual article he doesn't know himself but he guesses Apple will either continue calling it the 10 series or name it to 11 also what I was saying before is that this year's iPhones the 10 and 10 plus might actually come in a new gold color and by new I mean the same one currently offered on the iPhone 8 and 8 plus which are striking I would love to have it on my iPhone 10 sadly they didn't offer it because of production issues which ones we don't know but hopefully it will come through and they'll sell that color later this year because it is seriously awesome and you did say that gold colors are also particularly popular in the Asian markets so expect that one to sell out first I remember when the iPhone 5s came out that color it was just gone I mean that was the first color that everybody wanted just because it was a new and I think the same thing will happen later this year and he did go on to detail that Sears iPhone 10 plus maybe the first iPhone ever in history to offer a dual SIM option and I've heard this rumor going back years like five years at least that the new iPhone would come with this feature but it never came to be but this year that might change because first off there's a larger phone more room inside of it to actually place this feature you know how compact Apple is I mean they treasure every millimeter inside of the shell of their phones so the room allows for its but also the demand for its and recently there have been so many smartphones that are coming out with this feature and Apple sees it is something that people actually want and use and in certain regions there might be an option to get an iPhone 10 plus with the dual SIM capacity not everywhere by default and Apple is actually waiting to see if Isom will be viable in this year's iPhones as well so there might not even be a SIM card slot at all because it'll have the same technology as the Apple watch 3 and the LTE iPads you'll be able to program the internal SIM card to a carrier and then use it like that instead of having to use a physical SIM card now that's a feature I can see some people hating and wanting a SIM card itself and this feature is far from being confirmed apples just in talks with carrier about the viability of it now we did also mention the cheaper 6.1 inch model and why it makes more sense in the lineup than the current iPhone 8 and 8 plus and the truth is he says is the distinction people look at the iPhone 8 and 8 plus and see a really old design with very thick bezels and they don't want to buy it's just because of that so this year's lineup it'll look pretty uniform you'll have these same edge to edge display on the cheaper end 6.1 inch LCD model but it'll of course miss out on some features that the higher-end models will have such as the organic LED display the dual camera on the rear wireless charging and so on it'll still have face ID and it'll look good that's the main point and that's why that one will sell very well but if you want the premium features you'll have to go for the 10 and 10 plus some Apple strategy this year is still to have a low-end sort of mid tier model but still to push the organic LED display models the higher-end models to the people that want them and this one is very interesting Ming Chico is reporting that Apple is building high-end over-the-ear headphones very similar to the style of the current beats solo or Beats Studio Headphones but just a more premium option to the air posit they offer and I think that this could be in match made in heaven because their home pod is amazing for sighs imagine over-the-ear headphones from Apple and think they could do some very good things with it take the Beats technology the best of it anyway and put it into this improve it and release that he says that there will be a redesigned hinge that's actually very hard to manufacture in order to make way for wireless charging so this thing would be wireless rechargeable maybe work with the air power mat itself just think the possibility of it could be quite cool and alongside that Bloomberg is also reporting in a report earlier this week that Apple is developing air pods - for sale at the very same time with this year's iPhone lineup so it'll be capable of the hey Siri feature which Bloomberg right now is saying the Siri situation sucks on air pods you have to hold them in order to activate it but with the hey Siri functionality you'd have that convenience you would have to touch your air pods and you could change the volume switch tracks much easier they're also saying that the W tube chip which is found in the Apple watch 3 right now would become standard in the air pods - which would possibly make them more efficient have longer range maybe even result in better battery life that would be very cool so expect those later this year and they say that the further roadmap for future air pods models is water resistance right now I mean personally I tested them and found them to be water resistant already but they don't have that official certification they say that's in the future Apple will be releasing water resistant air pauses they're testing that right now alright and this one is actually kind of worrying any iPhone right now up to iOS 11 including the iPhone 10 is hackable by a company known as cellebrite so before you worry though there are certain situations in which your phone could be hacked by them and by hacked I mean data extracted but this is the company that gained fame because they were able to unlock the phone the iPhone 5c in the San Bernardino case where Apple refused to do it for the FBI so they were able to use an exploit unlock them but it didn't work on newer phones up until now they actually sent out an internal memo to customers and actual law enforcement saying they could work on iPhone 10 models and up to iOS 11 it's unknown if it works on the latest eleven point two point six eleven point three firmwares but it's safe to assume it does because they don't share their exploits publicly and Apple has no way to patch it because in order to even use their service you have to send your phone to them then they extract the data and send it back they don't show you how they do it so theoretically can't even patch it so that's scary I mean if you guys are doing shady things just know that there is a company out there that if the government or law enforcement asks them to take data off your phone they can do it on any phone even the newest iPhone 10 that is scary it looks like Nokia is now in the business of nostalgia they're releasing another classic phone with a modern twist much like the 3310 last year they're actually reviving the Nokia 88 10 series this was the premium high-end model at the time it was actually featured in the matrix it was kind of cool the bottom slides out to reveal the keyboard microphones on that piece so it looks pretty cool sort of shaped like a banana and now there is a modern twist to it I'm definitely gonna be buying it it's gonna be worth about 79 euros only in Europe but it will have four G unknown if it'll work in America but seriously I love that Nokia is doing this I'm never gonna use these phones but it's just cool that they're releasing old phones with a twist seriously cool so I just wanted to talk to you guys about that garbage snapchat updates which I honestly hate I don't know how you guys are getting along with it maybe some of you guys are adjusting but it's it's terrible and actually Kylie Jenner tweeted about it how she's not gonna be using it apparently the value of snapchat dropped 1.3 billion dollars over a night probably not everything to do with the tweets but as a collective result of the decisions snap Incorporated has been making so honestly I've been using this updates it just it's terrible I don't know why they would do this but the good news is there is an updates coming out very soon that will filter this page into several tabs groups and then just your friends list so that's gonna help a lot with the
