New Series - Learn Camera Basics Intro

Introduction to Learn Camera Basics Series

Hi there, this is Ranjit and I'm starting a new series that will be known as "Learn Camera Basics". I've been getting a lot of questions from last couple of years about cameras how I use my cameras and many times if you see my videos I always say that I use cameras mostly in the manual mode and I'm not sort of a photographer by back I work a lot like this video so mainly this series of videos I will be posting will be revolving around video but video is nothing but 24 static pictures so again the basics that apply to photographing are also their fourth video so we'll be going towards the basics about manual mode in a camera how you can use the basics of very simple three things you have to remember that's about aperture ISO and shutter speed you manipulate these and you can get very different results also white balance makes a lot of difference if you want to get a very different kind of a feel so I'll be touching about all these topics in the smooth series because I've been getting a lot of questions about this and I learnt this on my own during the past six years Arthur is over 1900 the videos I didn't have any formal training so I learned all these stuff by experimenting and trying doing what you say experimenting with one thing or the other so I hope that by following this series you won't have to spend so much time and next couple of weeks you should be able to use your cameras in the manual mode a lot better apart from that I'll also be covering some other topics for example different types of lenses that you will get for example prime lens or zoom lens if you're using a DSLR and when to use those ones and also I will talk about various other tripods that I have used for example for video particularly fluid fluid head of tripods are useful and some of the tripods that I have been using lately and also I will talk about some of the other aspects also if you shoot a lot of video if your camera has these functionality it will be really helpful for example Peking zebra that's the reason I like Panasonic cameras because they do offer all those camp features like peaking zebras on the camera whereas Canon on their what you say a regular lineup just does not offer those options and also we will also go over the audio basics in this series.

What to Expect from Learn Camera Basics Series

This series of videos will be revolving around video but video is nothing but 24 static pictures so again the basics that apply to photographing are also their fourth video so we'll be going towards the basics about manual mode in a camera how you can use the basics of very simple three things you have to remember that's about aperture ISO and shutter speed you manipulate these and you can get very different results also white balance makes a lot of difference if you want to get a very different kind of a feel so I'll be touching about all these topics in the smooth series. The basics of manual mode will include how to use aperture ISO and shutter speed, and how to adjust them to achieve different effects.

How I Learned About Camera Basics

I've been getting a lot of questions from last couple of years about cameras how I use my cameras and many times if you see my videos I always say that I use cameras mostly in the manual mode and I'm not sort of a photographer by back I work a lot like this video so mainly this series of videos I will be posting will be revolving around video but video is nothing but 24 static pictures so again the basics that apply to photographing are also their fourth video so we'll be going towards the basics about manual mode in a camera how you can use the basics of very simple three things you have to remember that's about aperture ISO and shutter speed you manipulate these and you can get very different results also white balance makes a lot of difference if you want to get a very different kind of a feel. I learnt all these stuff by experimenting and trying doing what you say experimenting with one thing or the other so I hope that by following this series you won't have to spend so much time and next couple of weeks you should be able to use your cameras in the manual mode a lot better apart from that I'll also be covering some other topics for example different types of lenses that you will get for example prime lens or zoom lens if you're using a DSLR and when to use those ones and also I will talk about various other tripods that I have used for example for video particularly fluid fluid head of tripods are useful and some of the tripods that I have been using lately and also I will talk about some of the other aspects also if you shoot a lot of video if your camera has these functionality it will be really helpful for example Peking zebra that's the reason I like Panasonic cameras because they do offer all those camp features like peaking zebras on the camera whereas Canon on their what you say a regular lineup just does not offer those options and also we will also go over the audio basics in this series.

Sample Footage in Auto Mode

I'm shooting this one is that the Canon adde the caolan80 the auto mode is actually very good but let me actually show you some sample footage in the auto mode and the manual mode so that you can see the difference. This footage is in the auto mode, category D actually does a fairly good job in the autumn work but again you will notice some subtle differences the earlier put a tractor I was recording was the ideal setting attack I would like and those work using the manual mode but again let me also show you some other footage in the manual mode when I play with the settings and I can gain a then different results with the same sort of lighting even though you notice that the audio is not that good right not because I used an external microphone.

Tips for Shooting with Manual Mode

One tip for shooting with manual mode is to use aperture ISO and shutter speed together to achieve different effects. You can also experiment with different white balance settings to get a very different kind of feel. Another tip is to use a tripod or fluid head tripod to stabilize the camera and avoid camera shake. Additionally, if you shoot a lot of video, it's worth investing in good quality audio equipment such as an external microphone.

Peking Zebra Camera

I like Panasonic cameras because they do offer all those camp features like peaking zebras on the camera whereas Canon on their what you say a regular lineup just does not offer those options. For example, Panasonic cameras have a built-in feature that allows you to adjust the white balance settings to achieve different effects. This is very useful for photographers who want to create a specific mood or atmosphere in their photos.

Conclusion

I hope this series of videos has been helpful in teaching you about camera basics and how to use manual mode. Remember, practice makes perfect, so keep experimenting with your camera and trying out new techniques. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them below. I'll be happy to answer them and provide more tips and advice on using your camera.

learned all these stuff by experimenting and trying doing what you say experimenting with one thing or the other so I hope that by following this series you won't have to spend so much time and next couple of weeks you should be able to use your cameras in the manual mode a lot better apart from that I'll also be covering some other topics for example different types of lenses that you will get for example prime lens or zoom lens if you're using a DSLR and when to use those ones and also I will talk about various other tripods that I have used for example for video particularly fluid fluid head of tripods are useful and some of the tripods that I have been using lately and also I will talk about some of the other aspects also if you shoot a lot of video if your camera has these functionality it will be really helpful for example Peking zebra that's the reason I like Panasonic cameras because they do offer all those camp features like peaking zebras on the camera whereas Canon on their what you say a regular lineup just does not offer those options and also we will also go over the audio basics in this series and this footage that you were seeing is being recorded in the manual mode as I have told you I record all my video in the manual mode but to give you an idea how will be the results again I'm shooting this one is that the Canon adde the caolan80 the auto mode is actually very good but let me actually show you some sample footage in the auto mode and the manual mode so that you can see the difference so guys this is sample with the Canon a TV that I was using and this footage is in the auto mode the category D actually does a fairly good job in the autumn work but again you will notice some subtle differences the earlier put a tractor I was recording was the ideal setting attack I would like and those work using the manual mode but again let me also show you some other footage in the manual mode when I play with the settings and I can gain a then different results with the same sort of lighting even though you notice that the audio is not that good right not because I am just using the audio from the in both the Canon EDD it's on a good idea to use external microphone if you don't have a high budget you can easily use a lot of light and connected to your camera that way you could get much better audio now in a sense in short and this is again invaluable but I happy in playing around with the white balance and the lighting is exactly the same I haven't changed anything practice notice the background is the colors they might be very different so again the you cannot reach all these things if you are in the manual mode so guys what do you think about this learn camera basics series I don't know how many episodes this might last for about 7 to 10 episodes I want to cover each topic in one episode so I can straight you into my challenge will be starting to see is very soon and if you're not subscribed to my youtube
