Are You Ready to Go Back to Your Playground?

Well, like it or not, we're going back to your playground. But this isn't just any playground - it's a shared playground. What that means is you're going to have to share your toys. They're not really yours, but you can still play with them despite everyone else being quiet.

I am NOT in the car alone, as some of you might be thinking based on the background chatter. We've got mom, dad, Nunu, Joe Pop, and Jedi - yes, Jedi - all present and accounted for. And don't worry, we're going to do it again, even though we haven't quite mastered the stairs yet.

Where's Daddy? He's right in front of you, or is he? Don't worry about that right now. Let's get moving! Oh, I see your hand coming out - let's take a bow and burn off some breakfast. You might be surprised at how quickly time flies when we're having fun. Just be careful, because Dad doesn't think you're quite ready for the sit-and-spin just yet.

Okay, Jedi - are you ready to go shopping? There might be some collectibles that we haven't found yet. How many friends can we make today? Oh, look! She's gone back for the cart. This is a great way to develop problem-solving skills - she's coming back for the car, possibly not knowing where it went or what happened to it. Never give up, never surrender. You have to push very hard or move it away from this situation.

Now that we're on the school bus (or at least pretending to be), let's buckle up and get ready for a fun ride! Who used to drive a real school bus? Joepie does - well, that is, when he wasn't driving a pretend one. And now we're heading into the longest tunnel yet! Would you like to do it again?

We're making popcorn in here today, so let's find some banana trees and see where they lead us. It's going to be a fun adventure, but we have to imagine that we're on a grapevine - we can get grapes instead of bananas, if we want! I'm right here beside you; just follow my lead, and it'll be kind of neat having a place like this to play with all these toys.

Our shopping cart seems to be a particular favorite of hers (and us), although she's still getting used to running into things and not being able to eliminate them from her path. Hi there, kiddo! Anything gets better when you can roll it in Rome - within market, that is. We're all about making the most of our time together, even if we are a bit stymied sometimes.
