The Raidmax Sigma Build [AWESOME $80 CASE review]

**The Build Process: A Detailed Look at the Motherboard and Components**

As I sat down to build my new system, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. My motherboard was an Intel DV 77g with a deep cool Captain 240 X on the CPU, paired with an i7 3770k overclocked to 4.3 gigahertz. The graphics card, an EVGA superclocked Plus 980ti, would be cooled by an NZXT Kraken G10 and powered by an EVGA Power Link.

**The Motherboard**

I began by removing the motherboard from its box and installing it into the case. The case had a simple and straightforward design, with all the screws labeled for easy identification. I was impressed by the attention to detail in the case's design, as each screw was specifically designated for a particular component. The motherboard itself was a sturdy build, with plenty of room for future upgrades.

**The CPU and Graphics Card**

Next, I installed the CPU, which required some careful handling due to its delicate nature. I applied a small amount of thermal paste to the heatsink before securing it in place. The graphics card was next, requiring some careful maneuvering to get it into position. Once installed, I connected the power cables and connected the data cables.

**The Power Supply**

The power supply was an EVGA 700 watt Extreme Pro, which provided plenty of power for my system's components. I installed it into the case with ease, taking care not to over-tighten any screws. The power supply was also equipped with a 80+ Gold certification, ensuring that it would provide efficient and reliable power.

**The Storage Drive**

I connected my one terabyte Western Digital Blue hard drive to the system, which would serve as my storage drive for editing and other applications. I installed the hard drive into its designated bay in the case, making sure to secure it firmly in place.

**Cable Management**

As I began to install the cable management system, I realized that this was going to be a bit of a challenge. The cable ties and extensions would require some careful planning to keep everything organized. However, with the available space in the case, I was able to manage the cables effectively, keeping them tidy and out of sight.

**The Case**

Finally, I installed the front panel, which featured a nice LED strip that could be adjusted in brightness. The case itself had a sleek design, with a tempered glass side panel that allowed for easy viewing of the internal components. The front panel also featured a unique grille design that added to the overall aesthetic of the system.

**The Build Process**

As I finished up the build process, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. Everything had come together smoothly, and my new system was now ready for use. I plugged everything in and turned it on, watching as the system came to life.

**Conclusion**

Overall, I was very impressed with the case and its design. The tempered glass side panel was one of the best features, adding a touch of elegance to the overall build. The cable management system was also well-designed, making it easy to keep everything organized. If you're in the market for a new case, I would definitely recommend checking out this particular model.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys this is Chris with coalition gaming today we're back with the r8 Mac Sigma build so I've decided to transfer my primary rig from the deep cool do case V to case into this raid Mac Sigma I really like the look of the case the tempered glass and everything about it so I disassembled my primary regen let's go over the specs for the motherboard I have this Intel DV 77g a 70k it's got a deep cool captain 240 X on the CPU the CPU itself being an i7 3770k overclocked a 4.3 gigahertz I've got my graphics card which is an EVGA superclocked plus 980ti and that one is paired with an H 55 on cooling the GPU with an NZXT kraken g10 I also have the EVGA power link on it I'm not sure how I feel about how the power link looks on it yet but that remains to be seen going forward we have all my cables right here they're red serial ata cables my tools are ready to go here on the table a one terabyte Western Digital blue hard drive as my storage drive for editing and other stuff that I use it for my fans are going to be William the case in my red LED strip and my OCD mod extreme pro 700 watt power supply so with all that said let's get building all right so far in the case this assembly process which is really easy to do by the way I found that it has this sort of hinge well not hinge but it's kind of held in there kind of like a hinge and also magnetically in their front fanned filter what's also really nice is all the screws honest they're they're all labeled specifically for what they are now some people can just tell what they are by looking at the type of screw but for everyone else this is really simple because here it says it has the screws for the three and a half inch drive here to the Hathor screws for the motherboard here to the head the screws for the two and a half inch drive and cd-rom and then K screws well power supply screws but there's the same in this case screws that's a really nice little feature for people putting together systems especially for the first time so also removing the front panel one of the features in this case was a projection of the sign on the bottom the raid mac sign through this little grill and it uses this LED right here so this LED is blue and can't change it well at least you can't change it in software anything like that however if you crafty enough you can pull this LED out and swap it with whatever color le do you want and you can change the color of the projection that way to suit your build however you like so I ran into what I thought was an issue with the LED strip right here I saw this spot right here which is nice because there's enough room to just lay the LED strip right there but usually I'm used to passing it there on this side there's no opening on this side the pass to the power connector for the LED strip so I'm looking at it looking at it and decide to go through here through the inside of the hard drive cages or through this little gap that is right here and that did the trick so to clean up the look of the inside of the case I've started to take a step forward into sleeved extensions I didn't really like using them that much before but I think for the build it's going to look really good and it's a nice cheap way to get into the sleeves cable look and you know it doesn't take a whole lot of time to use these ok I've gotten far enough to the point where I can drop in the graphic skirt so let's go ahead and do that it's a little complicated because of the cooling system on it but we'll get it there so I got all the water management done in the back it's not the prettiest but it'll get the job done for now and I've got to say the extensions really add a lot more trouble to that one thing is no key SSD is in the back so if you're hoping to show off your SSD if you had it like on the front like some cases do not going to happen with this case but it is out of the way and makes for a clean look on the main side so that does it for the bill everything went in smoothly the the cable management on it if you're using sleeves cables leather sleeves extensions it's going to be a little tougher but there is a lot of space in this case for you to stuff the cables for you to hide them away down by the basement especially in the driveway if you're not not using both of the both of the bays available so overall great case love the tempered glass side panel one of the best cases in my opinion you can get for about $80 thanks again to rave max for sending it out it's a great case yes you did a good job with this one and
