**Unboxing and First Impressions of Nothing Ear (2) Black Edition**
The new Nothing Ear (2) black edition has finally arrived, and we're excited to get our hands on it. As expected, these earphones have been launched with a fresh new design and an updated feature that will also be available in the original Nothing Ear (2) model. In this article, we'll take a closer look at the earphones, their packaging, and some of the key features that make them stand out.
**Packaging: Destroying the Case**
One of the things that caught our attention is the new packaging for the Nothing Ear (2) black edition. As you can see in the video, we need to destroy the outer packaging to access the earphones themselves. This has been a point of contention among fans, with some feeling that it's not necessary to damage the packaging every time they want to use their earphones. We're curious to hear your thoughts on this design choice in the comments below.
**Earphone Design and Materials**
Let's take a closer look at the earphones themselves. The black color scheme looks stunning, and we particularly like the matte finish on the plastic casing. It gives the earphones a premium feel that's hard to ignore. One thing we notice is that the lettering has been toned down slightly, which makes it less noticeable than before.
**Case Design**
The case for the Nothing Ear (2) black edition is also nicely designed. The plastic is matte-black on the bottom, which will help protect it from scratches and scuffs. We can see the familiar dimples that provide a secure fit in our ear. Overall, the case looks well-made and should withstand regular use.
**Pairing Animation**
Now let's take a look at the pairing animation for the Nothing Ear (2) black edition. As you can see, the earphones are recognizable, but there is still an issue with the branding – instead of saying "Nothing Year", it says "Ear Two". Hopefully, this will be corrected before these earphones are released.
**The Nothing X App**
Once we've paired our earphones in the Nothing X app, we can dive into some of the key features that make them stand out. One thing we notice is a new advanced EQ that allows us to fine-tune the audio profile of our earphones. This is a significant improvement over the original model, which had a more limited equalizer.
**Advanced EQ Features**
One of the features we're excited about is the ability to adjust individual frequencies and Q factors. This gives us a high degree of control over how our earphones sound, allowing us to pinpoint specific sounds or tone down certain frequencies. We can also move these parameters within a range, which should help us achieve an even more precise audio profile.
**Audio Profile Improvements**
With the advanced EQ, we're pleased to see that our audio experience has improved significantly compared to the original model. The earphones are no longer too bass-heavy or treble-heavy, and the mids have been nicely improved. This is a significant improvement over the personalized noise profile, which was able to balance out these issues but still had some room for improvement.
**Conclusion**
Overall, we're impressed with the Nothing Ear (2) black edition. The earphones themselves look great, with a premium design that's hard to ignore. The new packaging may be a point of contention, but it's not as big of an issue as we initially thought. And the advanced EQ feature is a game-changer, giving us a high degree of control over our audio experience.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enso you've already checked out the nothing year twos they were launched a while back and we did a full review so if you guys are interested in checking that out you can click on the button on the top right and we'll sort of send you that but before you go there you want to check out the rest of this video and if you enjoy eigen content make sure you hit the like button hit the Subscribe button if you're new here because we create really good videos and you want to check them out let's get started with checking out the nothing here too actually these are not another year tools that we are checking out these are the nothing here tools we are checking out they've been launched in a new black color and there's a new feature in these earphones that will also be available in these earphones that we're gonna check out so let's quickly unbox them and see what the black color looks like first foreign a lot of people don't like the fact that you need to destroy your case or your cover or your sort of outer packaging to open up the box what are your thoughts on that let me know in the comments do you think that nothing should come out with a traditional sort of packaging so that you're not destroying the packaging every time you open the earphones so I'm not going to do a traditional unboxing because we already know what else is inside the Box again if you want to see that video you can go to our old video but let's take a look at the earphones themselves I have to say that I prefer them in this black color it looks really nice and the case itself is also tinted so it looks really nice it gives you this whole blacked out feel even the lettering this time around is in a slightly gray tone it's not completely white so it doesn't pop out that much this is what they look like by themselves this is what the case looks like from the inside again a red dot to signify the right side and a left dot which is the white one to signify the left side really nice case on the bottom you can see the plastic is all in matte black which is nice so this is the part that will be rubbing on the floor and getting scratched up easily you still have those fidget spinner type dimples here so that's what the black color looks like in the pairing animation now you do see still at least for us and this will most likely be fixed by the time these officially are available but in the pairing animation we do see the nothing year once as the picture but it does say ear two so hopefully that gets fixed so once you are paid in the nothing X app is where all the action is with the ear twos this time around as well so here in the nothingx app you can see that the ear tools are connected and I can jump into the equalizer just like before so I have these settings balanced more treble more bass and voice and my biggest complaint with these was that they were not tuned to the way that I would like my sound to be but then they gave you this personalized hearing setup where it could test your hearing and then base the sound on that and that improved the sort of Equalization a little bit but this time around what you get is an advanced EQ so you get a full-fledged equalizer that allows you to set each and every individual frequency uh so that you get the right kind of audio dependent on your ears which is nice and I'm going to quickly try it on and see if there's an improvement in the sound because initially they were very bass heavy and very treble heavy and the mids were missing with the personalized sort of noise profile it improved the mids I want to see if the advanced EQ will fix that problem for me so with the advanced equalizer not only can you set up individual frequencies but you can also move them around in a Range so you can see here I can move this around in the range to get a more precise position and then I also have the Q factor which is over here which I can also adjust to figure out if I want to pinpoint a vocal file so if I'm here for example and I want to pick up the vocals I can reduce this and I can pick this out and get a pretty precise vocal or if I want a bigger range I can stretch this out and get a wider range and hence improve the dynamic range of the overall audio this is really cool you see these on really higher end audio file so sort of softwares and audio editing softwares to have this in a phone is pretty spectacular I think this is a massive improvement with respect to the audio profile of the nothing year two now whether you pick the white version or the Black Version the advanced EQ will definitely improve the audio experience and it is now at least a much better earphone than when it originally launched simply with that Equalization because you can really fine tune that audio profile now if you want to see our full review minus the audio experience you can obviously head over to the link on the top right or we leave it in the description below
