The Rowdyssey Is Getting A SEQUENTIAL DOGBOX!

The Sequential Shifter Installation: A Step-by-Step Guide

As I sat in front of the minivan's engine compartment, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. The sequential shifter was finally going to be installed, and I was eager to see it all come together. I had spent countless hours preparing for this moment, and I knew that it would be worth it.

First things first, I needed to remove the two bolts on top of the sequential shifter handle. This would allow me to access the aluminum box that held the shifting mechanism in place. With a few quick twists, the bolts came loose, and I was able to pull the box off the transmission case. It was a bit of a tight fit, but I managed to get it out without any issues.

Next, I needed to remove the two bolts that held the aluminum box in place against the body of the car. This would give me clearance to access the sequential shifter and ensure that it was properly installed. With a few more twists, the bolts came loose, and I was able to pull the box away from the transmission case.

As I removed the final bolt, I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. The sequential shifter was finally going to be exposed, and I could see what I had been working towards for so long. I looked over at my workbench, where I had mocked up a shift handle on top of an aluminum piece. It wasn't perfect, but it would have to do.

I decided to leave the aluminum piece in place for now, as I wanted to test the sequential shifter before installing the actual handle. This way, I could ensure that everything was working properly and make any necessary adjustments before moving forward with the installation.

As I looked at the sequential shifter, I couldn't help but think about the journey it had taken to get here. From the moment I first ordered it for my Route of C build, I knew that it would be a game-changer. The idea of having a sequential transmission in my minivan was exciting, and I was eager to see how it would perform.

I decided to test the sequential shifter by shifting through all the gears while sitting in the van. This would give me an idea of how smoothly it would shift and whether there were any issues with the mechanism. With a bit of practice, I found that the shifter was smooth and responsive, and everything seemed to be working as planned.

As I tested the sequential shifter, I couldn't help but think about the challenges that had come before this moment. The initial installation of the sequential transmission had been a bit of a struggle, with issues related to a bent piece inside the unit. But after some creative problem-solving and heat-bending the affected part, we were able to get everything working properly.

The final step in the sequential shifter installation was to test its performance by shifting through all the gears again. This time, I added an extra layer of complexity by having someone else sit in the van and try it out. The results were impressive – the shifter shifted smoothly and precisely, with no issues or hesitation.

With the sequential shifter installed and tested, I was now ready to move on to the next step: mating the engine to the transmission. This would involve attaching the clutch and other components to complete the installation. It was an exciting time, as everything came together to form a powerful and efficient transmission system.

As I looked at the sequential shifter in all its glory, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. The months of preparation and testing had paid off, and this was finally starting to come together. With the engine and transmission mating together, it was time to take things to the next level – literally.

In the final stages of installation, I made sure that everything was securely attached and properly aligned. It was a delicate process, as any misalignment could result in issues down the road. But with patience and attention to detail, we were finally able to complete the sequential shifter installation.

As I sat back and admired my handiwork, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement for what was to come. The minivan was now equipped with one of the most advanced transmission systems on the market – the K-series sequential transmission. It was going to be an epic ride, with thousands of horsepower at our disposal.

With the engine and transmission mating together, it was time to test the sequential shifter in action. I started up the engine and engaged the clutch, shifting through all the gears while checking for any issues or hesitation. The results were impressive – the sequential shifter shifted smoothly and precisely, with no issues or problems reported.

As I continued to test the sequential shifter, I couldn't help but think about what was next. We had completed the installation, but we still needed to get everything mounted into the van itself. It was a daunting task, but one that I was excited to tackle head-on.

With the engine and transmission installed, it was time to start thinking about the exterior modifications. This would involve mounting the sequential shifter in its final location – usually on top of the dashboard or center console. With some careful planning and execution, we were able to complete this task with ease.

As I looked at the finished minivan, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. The months of preparation and testing had paid off, and this was finally coming together. We had taken on one of the most complex transmission installations in recent memory – the K-series sequential transmission – and emerged victorious.

With the sequential shifter installed and tested, it was time to start driving. I fired up the engine, shifted through all the gears while checking for any issues or problems. The results were impressive – everything seemed to be working as planned, with no hesitation or hesitation reported.

As I drove away from the garage, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. This was just the beginning of our epic journey – one that would take us through the streets, countryside, and maybe even some off-road adventures. With the K-series sequential transmission at our disposal, we were ready for anything that came our way.

And so, with the sequential shifter installed and tested, I knew that this was just the start of something special. The months of preparation and testing had paid off, and now it was time to put this baby on the road and see what she could do.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enshe's gonna be something like that back back back she's gonna be rowdy guys alright guys today we are putting together the transmission for the route EC so right here we have a stop K series transmission and we got a package in and this one came from overseas and I'm really excited to show you guys what we got and that box is actually right down here we go ahead and went through it on the table when I said we were going full set with the Odyssey I meant it no you guys have maybe seen this logo before next we have a whole other transmission in here so this is just for the core but inside this box guys we have ourselves another quake sequential transmission for the route asleep we got the whole package guys we got the strain gauge we got it all no lift shift right out the gate and go ahead and get all this stuff out of here today we are going to be assembling this transmission right away got all the neutronics easy shift stuff in there for the strain gauge forgot our shift barrel we'll get all this stuff out of the bubble wrap here soon this one was packaged way better than the last one I might add as well alright guys we just got everything unbox you can see right here we got our counter chef we got the input chef we got the back half of the case right here we got our LSD right in here some brand new bearings for that diff our final drive gear and then the shift burial for all the sequential goodness and then cable itself into the handle so same one that we got in the mr2 and then right here is just a factory case series transmission bone stuff we were going to be tearing into this thing and getting all this stuff installed today you know we were debating with going either h-pattern or sequential for the minivan but I think end of the day just came down to sequential sounds way more cool for a minivan than the H pattern and I was really happy with how the sequential has been performing in the mr2 it feels really cool to drive vanillish this stuff is awesome and besides I mean Amelia got his sequential ass I mean we're putting sequential and everything I mean they're just sick we were in a position to give that another one with you know our boy Matt and the UK helping us out so you know we sent it minivan is getting a sequential transmission and we have everything here today should get it put together so we're just gonna go ahead and dive right in we're gonna pull this stock transmission apart and get all this stuff put inside of there and then we'll have ourselves a sequential transmission for the route of see we'll finally I'm training they can handle some real power we won't be blowing up all the stock aged trains anymore we can actually get some passes out of the van take it around and like go raise some people in our minivan so let's go ahead get this thing together I'll get that off and put that on the other one and we'll have the regular speed gear yep all right guys we got the Odyssey swapped you can hear idling right now it's running a little rough got it Shane swap you know we got him got him mounted in right here he's boosted passport mounts comfy in there it's roomy in there man when I step back like the H does I fit in your purpose is lounging we're running our Shane on 20 pounds of boost how sport motor mounts fit him in there perfect you can see he's just hanging off the mounts you know all right man well we got some races to do we got some races so you ready now that we're putting a sequential in the mini man it's gonna be time for this homemade shifter box we did a long time ago to come out and you guys all gave me crap a long time ago for only putting two bolts in this thing but look who's laughing now I only have to do half the work to take this thing out so I'm gonna go ahead and start getting this ripped out because we're gonna need this space for our new sequential lever to go in place so uh yeah just have two bolts on top and then two bolts holding this aluminum box that we made a long time ago down to the body of the car get all this tore out of there and then we will have ourselves a place to put our sequential shifter handle look at that guy's shifter came out in no time at all it's not that I was too lazy to put the other two bolts in I just knew that in two years the routers he was gonna get a sequential and why go through all the hassle to put those extra two bolts in when I knew it's gonna come back out anyways and look at that I saved double the time because I didn't have to worry about the other two bolts and now that I know she's going sequential I'll use all four bolts on this here handle and yeah I was actually getting ready to take this aluminum piece off that we made but I left it on there because I kind of mocked up you shift handle on top of that because I'm thinking I am gonna have to build some sort of bracket similar to this but a nicer one that looks cleaner because I don't like that one to hold the shifter up some my original thought when I first ordered the sequential for the route of C was that this shifter was going to be able to bolt straight to the floor because I know these are pretty tall but it looks like it might be a little too low even if I go straight to the floor I still got to get this aluminum box off to double check that but I wanted to rest this up here just to be sure in a dust feel you know pretty good about right there but I think if it could go down a couple more inches we'd be good I don't know I'm liking that yeah we'll have to see on that guy's but either way I need to take this aluminum piece off right here and I'm not going to be able to mount the handle for the sequential just yet because we're getting ready to assemble the transmission right now and I just wanted to kind of see what this looked like in here but I do have to take it back out anyways because once we get the training together I want to test it on the ground or on the bench just to make sure that it's running through all the gears correctly before I get all this stuff mounted up into the minivan but yeah she's gonna be something like that but she's gonna be rowdy guys but yeah I'm gonna get back to this after we get the transmission assembled so we can actually see where it needs to go but I was just so excited you know I just wanted to sit in here see how I was gonna feel but oh yeah so let's go ahead and get that transmission together you want to go ahead and run through the gears show it it's all working and it might need spin the shaft a little bit third or fifth now go back fourth third second where we at neutral yep dips not spinning yep in Reverse kinda hard to see but it's been an opposite way well boys there she is qwave sequential K series transmission we were up super late get this thing all put together what do you think this is gonna be epic she don't rip sequential yeah sequential thousand horsepower minivan that's cool it's gonna be awesome dude yeah we ain't stoppin til it's all the power to the tires and yeah we went ahead and shifted it through all the gears made sure everything was working we didn't have an issue with a piece inside here musta got bent and chipping or something or at the manufacturer but long story short we fought this thing for like two hours we had to take it apart and we had to heat up a piece inside of here bend it straight and now it's all working properly because when you would shift this would kind of just stick out and it's supposed to kind of ratchet back and forth but got it all figured out and she's shifting beautifully we checked it all and he's ready to go we went together a lot quicker than the first one back when I did the mr2 how to take the MRT one apart like four times because I didn't know what I was doing yet so this one went together one time yep yeah I would have been faster obviously if you dance a string apart yeah I messed up and I messed this up for a little bit but it's awesome she's all good to go so got the got the engine all put together so the next video we're going to be mating the two together get a clutch and stuff and get it all thrown in the van I'm gonna keep on calling guys keep on watching keep subscribing yeah videos are just gonna keep coming back to back we're here get the hype on the minivan boys gonna be legit but it's gonna be it for this video sequential the north power it's gonna be sickshe's gonna be something like that back back back she's gonna be rowdy guys alright guys today we are putting together the transmission for the
