The Thrill of Electric Supercars: A Drag Racing Experience with Jurgen and a Rimac

Jurgen's reaction was better than mine, as evident from his enthusiastic response to the launch of a car that would put his skills to the test. The car in question was a hypercar from Croatian manufacturer Rimac, and it had just set a new record for a standing quarter mile with a time of 8.5 seconds. The Lamborghini, which finished second, took 8.7 seconds to complete the same distance.

Jurgen's experience with electric cars was limited, as this was his first time behind the wheel of such a vehicle. However, he was eager to put the Rimac through its paces and see how it would perform on the track. With a tune that made the car almost effortless to drive, Jurgen found himself able to floor it and then coast again without much effort.

As they prepared for their first rolling race from 30 mph, Jurgen's experience with electric cars was evident in his approach. The car performed well, but not as impressively as he had expected. The Lamborghini, however, seemed to be having a harder time, struggling to keep up with the pace of the Rimac.

The race from 50 mph proved to be an even more interesting contest, with Jurgen's car able to maintain a larger gap between itself and the Lamborghini. However, just as it seemed that Jurgen was about to take the lead, his car suddenly stopped at the finish line, leaving him in second place.

In the final test of the day, a brake test from 100 mph was set up to determine which car could stop the shortest distance. The results were close, but ultimately, Jurgen's car took the win by a hair's breadth. Despite being lighter and more expensive than the Lamborghini, it seemed that its electric powertrain had given it an edge in terms of braking performance.

Throughout the day, Jurgen was impressed with the ease with which he could drive the Rimac, despite its incredible acceleration. "It's just so easy to drive yet so insanely fast," he said, reflecting on his experience behind the wheel. The results were a testament to the engineering prowess of Rimac and their ability to create cars that are both powerful and easy to handle.

our shop just quickly summarize the work that you've done turn and the results so this has got a fully built engine fully built gearbox they got turbos cic CCU fuel system drive shafts cles differentials 1,00 horsepower 1,500 Newton M wow and obviously that is lighter than this car I think the weights what about 1,600 with fluids yeah that's it, 1650 I think with fluids that's correct your cherry I mean you're used to tune cars which can be temperamental let's be honest about it this is just so easy all you have to do is check that you got it in drive over there yeah it's on D yeah okay left foot on the brake throw the throttle yeah and then just release the brake and keep going keep going keep going for the quar mile and that's it wow it's like it just hits you than it that's just so easy so I'm driving like 2,000 horsepower GTRs and like you seen earlier the cars are just you're fighting the cars up the track and this just feels so easy I'll tell you what just drive along a bit just going speed up a little bit now floor it and then back off back off and then you coasting again floor it wow you can actually feel your face pulling back anyway let's get on with the racing okay then Jurgen we're going to do a rolling race from 30 mph we'll race to the half mile 3 2 one go pickup was amazing on the Lamborghini oh come on but now here we go your car did really well there Yer the pickup was that was impressive it was pretty good there m but it's still not as impressive as that rimac yeah I was crossing the line around like 210 220 okay now we're going to do the same thing again this time though from 50 mph and Jurgen will be in third gear 3 2 1 go now you see a bigger difference that was good work again but I think the Gap was slightly larger this time wasn't it for some reason I think the lambo seems to be better at a lower speed and well that car just picks up really well do you know what just stay there a second mate it looks like you've been mowing grass with your car because there's a load of weed in the front grill it's really funny finally then we're going to do a breake test from 100 mph car that stops in the shortest distance wins you'd rather
