Exploring the Unique Colors of the HTC U12 Plus
Hey everyone, it's Joshua for Gaara here, and today we're taking a closer look at the three different colors of the HTC U12 Plus. We don't often get to see all the colors of a phone, so it's great that we were able to take a look at this one. HTC has done a good job of making each color unique enough that it might be hard to make a choice.
Let's start off with the classic one, the base model, which is the ceramic black. Now, I have to admit that I was hoping for real ceramic here, but the sheen is very similar to what you'd expect from a real ceramic finish. The treatment they've used gives it a nice look and feel. You can let us know what you think of the black one in the comments below, especially once we start to explore the other two colors.
The next color that's not going to be available for a little while is the flame red. I have to say, when I was looking at this phone, it actually looked more pink than I expected. This might appeal to some of you out there because pink phones are not very common. It's just as shiny as the other colors and probably a bit more reflective than the ceramic black. The unique thing about this color is that it's something we don't usually see in devices.
Finally, we have the translucent blue, which is definitely one-of-a-kind. As you can see, there's a little bit of transparency to the backing that allows you to see some bits and pieces underneath the cover. We've all talked about wanting clear cases for phones that would really make them stand out. That's kind of the direction that HTC has gone with their blue coloring. You can see the lining of the battery, the module for the camera, and even a couple of bits and pieces related to connectivity. The blue is a great shade, but what we like about this color is that underneath it, you get to see even more.
The translucent blue is actually the hero model of this phone, and it's available in 128 gigabytes of on-board storage. All of the phones will come with six gigabytes of RAM, which might be enough for some users already. Even if that's not your case, you'll still get a great-looking back with a very unique design. So let us know in the comments below which color you would pick. We'd love to discuss this with you as well. If you have any suggestions or just want to share what you think of these colors, now's the time.
