CodeThemed 2.0 Beta Hands On

Here is the restructured article:

**Hands-On of Code Theme 2.0: A Deep Dive**

While you can create a really nice theme just from what they have here, there's absolutely nothing stopping you from going ahead and downloading and customizing more. So let's go ahead and pick some themes. Let's set this to the home screen so we can see it in action.

Another really cool new feature is that you can actually set the images to individual home screens. Most of the time, obviously, you want the background to stay the same, but if you want a specific image on one page and not another, we can go ahead and hit apply. Oops, this actually removed the original wallpaper from these other pages. So there we go, let's apply it to just the first page.

As you can see, we have this beautiful wood-like background, but if we go over to the other page, it's that original video wallpaper again. Very robust support for that is pretty cool. Now let's take a look at the icons using Cod theme. You can customize your icons, so let's just go ahead and pick one that we like.

They have quite a few really high-quality icons that you can use, so let's see here. I like this one, so we can go ahead and click on it, and it will automatically change our icon. Another really cool thing is that while we can just click on it, but if we want to make some reason why SMS looks like the clock, we can go ahead and drop it on there and make our clock look like SMS.

There's a really nice variety of customization available, so let's scroll through here as you can see. There are quite a few different default ones, so let's pick Safari and see which one we want to use. Let's use this one, so there we go - now it says Safari just changed.

Another cool feature is that while this doesn't work perfectly as far as what it looks like, you can actually rotate the icons with just a single click. All of our icons are now sideways. Now, as it actually pops up, it looks a little bit blurry in the later, but once you download to your device, it should look just fine.

Let's go ahead and continue on. Now let's take a look at Docs. It pretty much works the same way, so we can go ahead and pick one that we like. The really cool thing is that the emulator has just been rebuilt, so it works very very fast. I just click on it and it changes really nicely.

The last thing I want to show you guys today is the labels. You actually can change the font of all your labels, so that's a pretty cool feature. Let's try uh this one - that looks pretty good. And then of course, we can go ahead and just scroll up and down as far as the font size. Then we can go ahead and choose color.

Let's make this purple, I like the purple. So now we have purple text, just simple as that. Now guys, there is going to be quite a bit more of course, this is just the beta version. They're really working hard to finish it all up, but you will be able to work on the lock screen, the status bar, and quite a few other extras.

That's it for my Hands-On of Code Theme 2.0 - very impressed I'm definitely looking forward to checking it out. Guys remember it will be live in the full version with all of the customization options you know, so go ahead and check back on the 10th when it comes out at co.com.
