**Review: Pocket Boy vs V3 - Which Portable Game Console Reigns Supreme?**
I recently had the opportunity to review two portable game consoles, the Pocket Boy and the V3. As someone who loves gaming on the go, I was excited to see how these devices would hold up. In this article, I'll share my thoughts on both consoles, including their pros and cons, and which one comes out on top.
**First Impressions**
The Pocket Boy is a compact game console that fits easily in your pocket or purse. It has a sleek design and a surprisingly bright screen. However, one major drawback is that the battery is not easily replaceable, making it a bit of a con to deal with. On the other hand, the V3 has a similar design to the Pocket Boy but with some key differences.
**Battery Replacement**
One notable difference between the two consoles is the battery replacement process. The Pocket Boy's battery requires you to remove all screws to access it, which can be a bit of a hassle. In contrast, the V3's battery is not soldered in place, making it relatively easy to replace. However, this also means that you'll need to make sure you order the correct replacement battery for your device.
**Screen Quality**
Both consoles have high-quality screens, but I prefer the Pocket Boy's screen due to its brightness. The V3's screen is a bit darker, which may be a preference issue for some users. I remember when I used to sell televisions, Panasonic had a reputation for producing better picture quality on black screens. Sony, on the other hand, had a flaw with their gray tubes.
**Performance**
Both consoles perform well, but they have some minor drawbacks. The Pocket Boy has screen tearing, which can be noticeable in certain games. However, this is not a major issue that will make you want to stop playing or anything like that. On the other hand, the V3 also has screen tearing, although it's not as noticeable.
**Conclusion**
In my opinion, the Pocket Boy is the better console due to its layout and design. I love the wide-body format and the fact that it's easy to use. The only thing I wish it had was a slightly larger screen. Despite this minor complaint, the Pocket Boy is an impressive device that's perfect for gaming on the go.
**Final Verdict**
I'd like to make it clear that both consoles have their pros and cons. If you're looking for a portable game console with a wide-body format, the Pocket Boy may be the better choice. However, if you prefer a slightly darker screen, the V3 may be the way to go.
**Community Feedback**
If you own either of these consoles, I'd love to hear your thoughts on them in the comments below. Do you prefer one over the other? Let me know! If you're thinking of buying either console, I'd also like to know if there's anything I missed that could have swayed my decision.

I'm still working on finishing my game room and setting up all the necessary equipment. Hopefully, soon I'll be able to share a tour of my gaming setup with you guys. In the meantime, don't forget to like, share, and subscribe if you haven't already!

WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enokay guys welcome back to another episode the last game hunter today we're finally gonna talk about that pocket go what I think of it and how I feel about the v3 go up against the v3 so it's no strange thing that I definitely didn't like the vertical and wish for a horizontal field and they gave me that in the pocket go so of course the pocket go is definitely gonna win in that category hands down it's exactly what I wanted then this did not have the L&R buttons well the pocket dog does have L&R buttons right here so definitely we have another win for the pocket go so let's take a look at the screens so as you can see on the right the screen is brighter than the one on the left and the left is your v3 and the right is your pocket go now I notice that right off the bat and I'm like huh that's an odd I thought the students were the same well after playing around the settings I noticed that my pocket dough was definitely a brighter screen which I actually loved I thought that was beautiful I thought the v3 screen was really good other than its size until I seen the pocket Go screen now comment below if you think that your bit boy v3 is as bright as your pocket though if you have both I'm noticing that it's not definitely not you can see it here in the footage or you've seen it there in the footage I found that the pocket dough is definitely a brighter unit hey guys here's me playing some nes games so I started off with 1942 and just you know wanted to play a game that I really like keep in mind guys I'm playing for the viewfinder makes it a lot more challenging even easy games are hard to play through a viewfinder just saying so then I moved on to Super Mario Brothers and of course went through a full round and now keep in mind I've been playing these games a little while before this I just wanted to do a little quick bit of recording just to show you guys and I found that everything he seems very very smooth and it was very very smooth on the b3 as well I'm moving on here I'm playing a couple Super NES games so I'm starting off with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and it's always been a serious that I loved especially on these old machines and everything worked beautifully I did not have any issues at all again the v3 did not either now I'm trying some Arab brothers world or whatever it is and the v3 I still found it a little slower than it should have been but I also noticed that there was a slow down on the v3 the pocket go played it better but not quite still where I think the game should have been but very playable so there's no you know me think you're not crap the machine is not even good for playing Super NES games it is fine but I do know this like definitely b3 there was a couple that chopped camera what they were again but they did they stuttered a little there was some weirdness to it and I definitely wouldn't play those again now also on the pocket go I did not notice any slowdown on any games that I tried so I can't say that every game is working perfectly I just know what I played actually did not let me down and I was very impressed with it for a $39 unit guys I just want to make that clear - we have to understand that we are reviewing a 39.99 product these things are only 40 dollars American and this is a lock for 39.99 if you look at the competition out there and so on and earn to 80s to $100.00 area or 50 or so on but they're definitely more expensive candy be better some of them probably yeah for sure but I've never reviewed them and heaven so I can't really say that all I can tell you is for 39.99 you're definitely getting your money's worth whether it be the thief three or you buy the pocket go they're both great value for their money so if you like this form factor and your hands aren't really big and bulky and you're comfortable playing like this which actually isn't horrible don't get me wrong it's not horrible it's just not as comfortable as I wanted a little console to be so other than that this unit could be for you for sure and I think it's still an amazing unit which is still available on the market you can also still remove the battery cover and remove the battery instantly and it's the same battery that's in your Gameboy Advance SP so very easy to get now that is a bit of a con on the pocket go pocket go you have to remove all the screws to get apart and you can unplug the battery it's not soldered you can unplug it and change it that way so you clearly have to order the right battery for it whether pocket or bit boy will have the battery for you as a replacement option we don't know or you're gonna have to find a battery that replaces it on eBay I'd have to search step-down I don't know what the actual battery specs are so I wouldn't know that so one day I have to change this battery oh one day I have to change the battery no problem well in that category the v3 definitely gets a point as the pocket goes battery is not easily replaceable but actually is replaceable just want to make that clear so in the end pocket boy is the product that I prefer for a simple reason that it has the layout I'm looking for both of them have the same size screen whether one's brighter than the other is that definitely a preference it's kind of like you going out and you're buying the television that you want and one's brighter than the other you like it or one's darker than the other and you like the darker one I remember back in the day when I used to sell televisions you had the Sony Trinitron and a Panasonic gal or towel on top these were the TV's too by Panasonic and Sony decked it out hardcore well when I sold them I definitely went towards the Panasonic pan of black picture tubes and a reason why everything that's color looks better on black Sony had one flaw the gray tube so in the end in my opinion it comes down to preference there's people that love Sonia you could never tell them that the Panasonic was better even though they could see the color vibrance right in front of them I put them side-by-side on my store so guys it's again it's just preference if you like a brighter screen definitely the pocket go because it seems to be that route if you like the wide-body the pocket go both units again perform well both units have some screen tearing it is not major it is not enough to make you freak out or not want to play a game or anything like that it's just that it is noticeable it is there on certain games I just want to make that clear but again this is a $39.99 product it is very impressive so overall guys I give the diff boy pocket go the victory for the simple reasons is everything that I wanted in a product it has the pellet are buttons it has a wide-body format I just wish the screen was a little bigger I get the fact that its pocket dough and it's designed to go in your pocket and go well done just wish to come out with another one called pocket not go bigger go whatever you want to call it I put a three and a half or a four inch screen the darn thing anyways guys this is just me giving you my opinion on two products I have nothing bad to say about them other than this one of course didn't have the format I was looking for that's still a great product other than that the pocket goat is the winner in my decision and guys comment below let me know what to think if you own the pocket go and the v3 what do you think of the two units who is the winner in your opinion I'd like to read those comments secondly if you own a vehicle II do you love your v3 if you have a pocket go only how do you feel about it let me know let me know if there's something that I definitely missed about this I did play a lot of games but again I'm also busy working or I'm busy trying to come up with another idea for a video for you guys and it takes up a lot of time so I don't have as much time to gain as I wish I did definitely my game rooms still not even finished guys everything's kind of in place but nothing is wired up I'm still working on that for you and hopefully soon that tour will be coming so guys until next time bring the valve like share and subscribe if you already have not subscribed and till next time guys thank you for watching let me know your opinions on this till next time game overokay guys welcome back to another episode the last
