DJI Spark Unboxing!

Unboxing the DJI Spark: A Hands-On Review

Hey guys, how's it going? It's Justine, and today I'm excited to unbox the new DJI Spark, the latest drone in DJI's lineup. As you know, I've been a huge fan of drones, and I've had the pleasure of playing with this one for the past month or so. I actually pre-ordered it pretty much three seconds after it was available, and I'm thrilled to finally get my hands on it.

When I opened the package, I found that the only colors available were white, blue, red, yellow, green, and hot-pink or purple - unfortunately, those last two colors weren't included. But hey, who needs options when you've got a sleek and stylish drone like this? The Fly More package comes with the drone itself, along with a carrying case, charger, extra batteries, and a controller. I opted for the bundle deal because it's definitely a better value than buying each component separately.

Let's get started by opening up the drone itself! As I carefully removed the packaging, I couldn't help but notice how small and compact it was. It's definitely one of the most portable drones on the market right now. The carrying case is also really nice - it's got plenty of room for all the accessories and can even fit in my backpack or purse with ease.

Whoa, this looks like a lot of paperwork! I mean, seriously, what could possibly be in here? Is there another color option that I'm missing out on? Nope, it's white. But hey, at least I didn't expect to find anything else inside. The SD card is located right in the back, and so are the Micro-USB ports - one of the best features about the Spark is that you can charge it via USB using a standard cable.

Now that we've got the drone out of the way, let's take a look at what comes with it. There are some extra propellers included, which is awesome because they're easy to install and will ensure that your flights are smooth and stable. Ah, and here we go - the manual! It's not exactly a novel, but I guess you never know when you might need to read up on something.

Cool story, right? So let's open up the drone first. Wouldn't it be amazing if there was another color option inside? Nope, it's white. Wow, it looks so good! This is definitely one of the most beautiful drones I've ever seen. And if you're wondering, yes - I did match my nails to my drone because why not?

So with one charge, you should get approximately 16 minutes of flight time. The SD card just goes right here in the back, and there's also a Micro-USB slot. One of the best things about the Spark is that you're able to charge it via USB so if you happen to only have a USB-Micro cable lying around, you don't need to bring the additional charger - you're good to go! This is definitely one of my favorite features about this drone.

Alright, let's see what else is in here now. What's this say? Oh, it shows you how to pack it up! Zipper zips into place, and voila! You've got yourself a beautiful package. Here is your charger - nice job on the packaging, DJI. And check out the prop guards; they're included with the drone, which is awesome because safety first.

Power cable? This just plugs right in here, like so. Ah, the controller - it's definitely a nice touch. I love that it comes with a carrying case as well, making it easy to transport and store.

So, what do you guys think of the Spark? Do you have a favorite drone? Are you gonna get one? Let me know in the comments below! I'll also leave a link in the description where you can see my previous video when I first got my hands on this guy - there's some footage of me flying it, and some demonstrations of using the palm controls. The palm take-off and palm landing are pretty awesome.

That's all for today, guys! If you want to stay up-to-date with my latest content, be sure to hit that subscribe button and join the conversation in the comments section below. I'll see you guys at VidCon - I'm super excited, and hopefully I will see you there very soon. Until next time, bye!

**Palm Takeoff and Palm Landing: A Game-Changing Feature**

One of the coolest features about the DJI Spark is its palm takeoff and palm landing capabilities. Being able to do these without needing to use your phone is pretty awesome - it's like having a personal drone assistant in your hand! The palm control system allows you to direct your drone left, right, up, down, or even take pictures using one of the symbols on the controller.

To activate the palm controls, all you need to do is wave your hand in the direction you want the drone to go. It's incredibly intuitive and makes flying so much more accessible to beginners. Plus, it's always a good idea to practice your hand-eye coordination before taking off into the wild blue yonder.

The palm take-off feature is also super convenient because you can use it without needing to connect to your phone or worry about running out of battery. It's like having a magic wand in your hand! The drone will automatically stabilize itself and start flying, giving you plenty of time to adjust your position before lifting off into the sky.

When it comes to the palm landing feature, things are just as seamless. Simply wave your hand in the opposite direction to signal the drone to come back down, and voila - it's safely landed right at your feet. It's an amazing feeling knowing that you can control your drone with just a few simple hand movements.

Overall, the palm takeoff and palm landing capabilities are a game-changer for anyone looking to get into drone flying. They make it so much more accessible and enjoyable, especially for those who want to avoid the hassle of connecting to their phone or fiddling with manual controls.

**Additional Features: A Closer Look**

So what else does the DJI Spark have in store? Let's take a closer look at some of its additional features that make it stand out from the crowd.

One of my favorite features about this drone is its portability. As I mentioned earlier, it's incredibly compact and lightweight, making it easy to toss into your backpack or purse for a spontaneous adventure. The carrying case is also nice because it provides plenty of room for all your accessories, keeping everything organized and within reach.

Another feature that impressed me was the camera quality. Although I didn't get the chance to test it out thoroughly in this video, the Spark's camera promises some amazing results - think crystal-clear 4K resolution and impressive stabilization capabilities.

Additionally, the DJI Spark includes a range of flight modes, including sport mode and follow-me mode. The sport mode is perfect for those who want to push their drone flying skills to the limit - with features like 2.8-meter-per-second speed and advanced stability control, you'll be able to perform some truly impressive maneuvers.

Last but not least, there's the follow-me mode, which allows your drone to keep up with you as you move around - whether it's walking, jogging, or even cycling! It's an amazing feature that makes flying so much more intuitive and enjoyable.

Overall, these additional features make the DJI Spark an absolute must-have for any serious drone enthusiast. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced pro, this drone has something for everyone.

**Conclusion: A Solid Choice for Drone Enthusiasts**

So there you have it - my in-depth review of the DJI Spark. This drone is definitely a solid choice for anyone looking to upgrade their flying experience. From its sleek design and impressive camera quality to its portability and advanced features, this drone has everything you need to take your drone flying skills to new heights.

Of course, as with any device, there are pros and cons - some users might find the palm controls a bit finicky at first, while others may prefer a more traditional controller. But overall, I think the DJI Spark is an excellent choice for anyone looking to upgrade their drone game.

If you're on the fence about whether or not to buy this drone, I'd say give it a shot! With its impressive features and advanced capabilities, you'll be flying like a pro in no time.

if you're a beginner I woulddefinitely say get this one.The price point on the Mavicis much higher than thisbut you also are gettingbetter video quality. But this is also supersmall, super simple, and it's way less expensivethan the Mavic is.So it really depends on your budget, what are you gonna dowith it, and ultimately,do you need 4K or do you not need 4K?There's also a bunch ofpre-programmed
