The iPhone 7: What We Know So Far
As we approach the release date of Apple's latest flagship device, the iPhone 7, there is a lot to speculate about what features and changes it will bring. In this article, we'll dive into some of the details that have been revealed so far.
Firstly, it seems that the iPhone 7 will no longer require a physical home button to be activated in DFU mode. This change may pose challenges for users who are not familiar with the new method of activation. However, Apple has confirmed that they will provide instructions on how to activate DFU mode using the volume buttons.
Another topic of discussion is the water resistance of the iPhone 7. A recent leak suggests that the device will be more water-resistant than its predecessor, and some analysts have even claimed that it will be waterproof. While this claim may seem surprising given Apple's history with these issues, it's clear that they are taking steps to improve the device's durability.
Regarding the headphone jack, there has been a lot of speculation about whether it will remain on the iPhone 7 or if Apple will switch to wireless audio. It seems that there is still some confusion about this issue, with some reports suggesting that there may be a 3.5 millimeter headphone adapter included in the box, while others claim that regular earpods will come with a Lightning adapter.
However, recent reports suggest that this may not be the case. A new leak on Weibo has revealed images of Lightning earpods coming with the iPhone 7, and it seems that this is likely to be the standard option. This would eliminate the need for an additional adapter and make the device more convenient to use.
There have also been reports about storage options for the iPhone 7. One rumor suggests that the base model will come in 16 gigabytes of storage, with a 32 gigabyte option available on the higher-end iPhone 7 Pro model. However, it's worth noting that these rumors are not confirmed by Apple, and we should wait until the official announcement to know more about this.
Interestingly, there is also a report from an analyst firm stating that Apple has placed conservative orders for the iPhone 7 due to concerns that the device may not bring significant changes over its predecessor. However, as we all know, these devices tend to still sell very well, even if they don't have many new features.
Finally, let's take a look at some patents that have been revealed recently. One patent suggests that Apple will be able to detect which hand the user is using their iPhone with, and this may involve new touch sensors or software updates. This could lead to different buttons being available for each hand, such as reversing the slider lock.
Another patent reveals a way for Apple to prevent camera recording if it detects infrared light. The idea behind this seems to be that it will be used in sensitive environments, such as concerts or government events, to prevent bootlegging of footage. However, some have raised concerns about the potential misuse of this technology.
Overall, while we still don't know many details about the iPhone 7, it's clear that Apple is working hard to make this device a success. With its new features and improved design, it's likely to be an exciting release for fans of the brand.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys everything Apple Pro here lots of new iPhone 7 details just in the past few days since my last update video as usual latest leaks and rumors and some of these are pretty crazy we've been hearing so many metal rumors about the iPhone 7 so it's a good change to hear something a little bit more extreme let's start with the color so the color on the iPhone 7 was widely accepted to be deep blue so a new rumor from a cat acara is claiming that that color is not going to happen instead the space black which was initially what it was he was just incorrect in his prediction so instead of a deeper blue color which actually my ad did look extremely good I loved it I would have welcomed it with open arms something really different I mean I loved rose gold mostly because it was different but in this case what he's saying is that instead of a deep blue happening Apple will be replacing space grey with a deeper darker color now I personally think that's a fantastic idea I would love a dark you know true dark iPhone closer to the iPhone 5 however my only concern is that Apple makes it not as scuffle the iPhone 5 after a few months of heavy usage I would start to notice scuffs on the edges on the bezels and I hope Apple does something to protect against that but a dark iPhone would be sexy speaking of the iPhone 7 his face black take a look at these new concepts from Martinez XO he went ahead and rendered the iPhone 7 in space black and I gotta say it looks fantastic this guy is very talented he's been doing this for a while so I'll leave a link down below for these in higher detail but wow I mean I could totally get behind this deep blue is sexy this looks good too personally I would probably choose the blue just because it's more exotic but I want to hear it from you guys what would you rather have space blue or space black or any deeper blue leave it down below I'd love to hear about it from you but anyways really cool concepts for the iPhone 7 in that new black color so getting a little bit more out there the iPhone 7 may not feature a physical home button anymore so this was rumored way back in the iPhone 5 refresh days people were saying the iPhone 5 might not come with the home button and Apple stuck out with it for so long now with the 10th iPhone in succession the iPhone 7 Apple may finally ditch the home button so this is from an anonymous source that tipped 95 Mac basically saying it'll be more of a virtual feel so it'll have a haptic feedback when you press on the motor will be activated and it will simulate a home button but won't be one now another analyst company Cohen and company basically are confirming this rumor and there are benefits to it there are drawbacks the drawback being it's a little bit disorienting for people that have been using a whole button physically for so long it'll be more of a virtual feel but I'm sure Apple has that taken care of they'll make it feel good but there are more good things than that so good things first off is it's a clean look look at this render from someone on reddit they made it it looks very very good to have a flush home button who knows maybe there will be a little indent to it so you can feel where it is I got to say it does look good too it's just one less physical thing on the iPhone to fail and three is there is one less poor one less area for water to get into the iPhone so it would actually increase the water resistance of the iPhone 7 either way I do like it but the one thing that concerns me is that not having a physical home button anymore how are you gonna activate DFU mode you know if your iphone conks out and it just doesn't work and you want to reset it how do you do that I'm sure Apple will have something different but maybe with the volume buttons like on Android but not having a physical home button may have some challenges too and it's very same analyst company that confirmed the loss of the physical home button what they're saying is that the iPhone 7 is going to be water proof hmm that's a very big claim when no one else is really saying that well Mac it's a car I did say it would be more water resistant but what they're saying is that it will be waterproof Wow I mean I would love that but I don't trust them on that because we've just been hearing almost nothing about it but it does make sense I mean Apple is removing the headphone jack the physical home button that's two areas less the water can get in and why not just make the thing water-resistant while you're at it it would be really cool I don't know how plausible that is but they are claiming it will happen and there's been a new leak on weibo of the Lightning headphones from Apple but wait in my last video I said that would it happen Mac it Saqqara said there would be a 3.5 millimeter headphone adapter to lightning in the box with regular ear pods but now this new leak is basically showing lightning ear pods at the very end with a lightning adapter I mean does it make sense here there's a clash of information so I'm very curious about which one is right my car's prediction of an adapter but that's just too clunky imagine just having to carry around a little adapter with you that could easily get lost and Apple would be charging you all that 20 30 bucks for a new one it would really suck so lightning earpods certainly make more sense we'll have to see at the release and there is a sketchy report on WeChat that is confirming that 16 gigabytes will be dropped from the iPhone 7 in favor of 32 gigabytes at base storage option but that's not anything new we already knew that what they're also saying is that the iphone 7 pro model or possibly plus made age 32 gigabytes in favor of 64 so the higher-end iPhone lineup the iphone 7 pro possibly will start as 64 gigabytes that would be quite interesting but the other iphone storage sizes would go from 128 to 256 so very sketchy rumour we don't know if indeed this is true but 64 gigabyte based storage option on the iphone 7 pro would certainly make it more of a pro model so there's this company that's contracted with Apple to produce chips for them advanced semiconductor engineer and they're saying that Apple is placed very conservative orders for the iPhone 7 this year possibly because Apple is very aware that the iPhone 7 will not feature any major major changes and won't really entice people to upgrade but trust me these things will still sell like crazy just because it's Apple and a lot of people are approaching the end of their two-year contracts and you know there's going to be a new iPhone why not just go for it so a couple cool patents I just wanted to share with you that Apple has been granted first is one that will actually detect which hand you are using your iPhone with this may be based on new touch sensors but it also could be available through a software update and based on which hand you're using it will provide different buttons for you to use so the slider lock for example will be reversed but that's disappeared in I was 10 so I doubt that's applicable but there could be different buttons that will be available at your fingertips there's a new patent that would allow Apple to stop camera recording if it detects infrared light their example for it was at a concert venue if you're recording you want to make a bootleg video they're going to prevent you from doing that by blasting your iPhone with infrared light you know considering that that company did install them your iPhone will not work so this could possibly even be used for more sinister things like the government preventing you from recording at certain events I mean who knows anyways guys there you go that is the from 7:00 the latest details on it were 70 days away right now all approximately so we're going to be seeing more and more information the closer we get and it's looking exciting I mean a virtual home button seems pretty cool added water resistance a jet black color which I would absolutely love don't forget I want to know would you guys rather have deep blue or deep black you know space black let me know
