Maple Bacon Cupcake Recipe _ Baked on a Traeger Pellet Grill _ BBQGuys

Hey everybody, welcome back! So yesterday I made some candied bacon which came out great, but I tell you it was hard enough not to eat it all last night. It was so darn good, but I just had to save some because today we're gonna make some maple bacon cupcakes on my Traeger right here. Let's see how they come out.

Okay, let's begin assembling our cupcake batter. I've got my 1 and 1/2 a cup of flour here. I did go ahead and put my salt in there, 1/2 a teaspoon of sea salt. What we're gonna do is we're gonna grab our sifter and we're just gonna kind of sift this through into our bowl. Just come sit that on to you in there and then our 2 teaspoons of baking powder. So we're gonna take that and we're gonna set this aside while we get everything else together.

I've got my 1/2 a cup of unsalted butter and a cup of light brown sugar. Mix this together, kind of smashing the butter into the sugar person, just work it, just work it. Make sure everything's nice and mixed together to me. Now what we're going to do is we're going to take our 2 a heads and we're gonna mix them one at a time. Now we have our brown sugar eggs and butter mixed together. What we're going to do is we're going to alternate mixing in the milk and the flour mixture into our batter. Here, got our batter all nice and mixed together.

Now let's put them in the cupcakes. Got our cupcakes, let's get them home now. Let's make our icing. I've already got my butter and my cream cheese pretty well softened so those have come together really quick. Just going to make sure those are nice and incorporated then we'll add our maple syrup, our pure maple syrup. Incorporate all that in and then we'll start adding our powdered sugar just a little bit at a time, just to make sure everything, our portions are good and everything it's nice and smooth texture to it.

Okay, you know it just isn't bacon enough for me so um I add some bacon dust into this icing now. That's maple bacon icing all right! Let's see if these are done. They are complete now we do that, let's get them iced up. Get some bacon on it, I'm ready to eat one maple bacon cupcake. You ain't getting any dog...
