Like being stuck in an Apple ecosystem I didn't mind the ecosystem but inside I had this desire to get more out of my phone pretty much. I like to customize it to my own personal level that I couldn't do on my iPhone so then I started to research more of how you could customize your iPhone. So then I came upon jailbreaks and other tweaks that could customize your iPhone even more but that just wasn't enough for me so I did even more research and I found out that Android phones were much more customizable and more open in that way.
So then I went for it, I purchased my first Android phone, I tried it for a while, and my friends made fun of me for having an Android and not having iMessage on it. They're all bent into the Apple ecosystem and anything to them that is an Apple product is pretty much bad and they call it the "rock" or a rock because it's terrible. It's an ancient piece of technology I'm not entirely sure why they called it that, but they always made jokes about how bad my "rock" is and stuff like that just because I couldn't get iMessage.
This really discouraged me from using an Android so I went back to my Apple phone for a while, but then after a while, I kept getting that desire to have a greater experience when it comes to my phone. I came to the conclusion that the only way I can use my Android is to get iMessage on it. The main part that my friends hated was that I couldn't really be in like group chats like if you wanted to have like the iMessage group chat, you couldn't name it or do any of these cool things because I had an Android and it messed it all up.
They get green bubbles, and they just hated it. So then I tried a way where you tie your Android phone to iMessage, where it uses your MacBook to send messages but it never really worked that well. Then after a while of giving up on it, I came up with this new idea that could work. This is what I have to propose to you for today.
All right, so you know how on the iPhone Messages app has its own app store, so if you could download an app from that store that could make it so you can chat from multiple platforms from the iMessage app, all right. So I'll tell you how this works. I'm going to use Google Allo for example, because I think it might work the best.
So I go on my Android, I download Google Allo for my Android phone, I tie it to my phone number, I do all that fancy stuff. Then instead of making my friends download the actual app they can go onto the Messages app, the iMessage app, where they could download it from that app store in the Messages app. Yes, they would all have to download the Allo app and then download the Allo app from the Messages app store.
So you both have it, and then somehow you enable iMessage chat in the iMessages so that from your iPhone everything seems normal. You have a group chat with all the good stuff and everything and then the Android person is messaging from the Allo app, and it can get the same messages and all the cool features about it.
If this could work, it would be a real game changer. Not only would it save me like Google Allo, because I mean it's shutting down it could make it so Android people will never get left out of conversations and group chats like that ever again. If you ask why don't you just tell your friends to download Allo well, I mean they're too stubborn. They and their parents won't even let them download the app.
If you think this could work too, be sure to leave a like and comment. Why you'd want this to work if any of you know someone from Google or anything like that please show them this video so they can maybe put it into action and break the gap between iMessage and everything else.
